Loved the cabin in the woods but it would have been nice to be able to have the ceiling fan on in the living room without the light on. Maybe there was a remote but we could not find it. Also love the lights on the outside deck but would have been nice if they dimmed as it was a bit bright when sitting in the hot tub. House was wonderful and hosts were great.

We booked for a nice relaxing 2 night stay since our plans for the beach due to Hurricane Erin fell through. Upon arriving, we were very happy with the cabin. We checked the place out and they had all the basic ammenties such as toilet paper, towels, dish soap, and paper towels. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the hot tub on the back porch. My main issue comes from 2 holes in the building itself. There is one by the back door along the wall where you can literally see sunlight through. Outside on the porch, they have half hazardly tacked up a piece of thin aluminum to "patch" the hole. Hole is more than big enough for mice to come through. There was also a hole in the floor itself slightly hidden under a rug and a side table. This is also a big enough hole for critters to get into. I will say if these issues were to be resolved, I would highly recommend this place. Its nicely tucked away and is very peaceful. I am just not a fan of sharing a cabin with critters.
