Wake up in your master bedroom king size bed with the Gulf of Mexico right at your side. Westerly views from this condo are out-of-this world! Have the benefit of direct balcony access from your master bedroom as well as from the living room. A flat screen TV and DVD player will ensure you won’t miss anything. You will find adequate space for your belongings in the master bathroom with extra vanity space, a huge closet, and new walk-in shower. Bed and bathroom linens are included –all you need to bring are your beach towels! We had a wonderful time in Sandestin. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. Gibson Rental’s communication was great. The master mattress was a little tired but besides that everything else was perfect!

The property was as described. The condo looked clean but smelled very musty. May have been bec. not recently used- not sure. The construction was mentioned, but some type of discount should definitely be given for it is very loud. Luckily, we stayed at the beach during the day so it didn't affect us much but it could have if we wanted to stay inside the condo Due to the construction, getting down to the beach, was cumbersome and could be an issue for some people. Overall, we enjoyed the place.

Our condo was perfect for our stay. Ages 70 & 85, we could set on balcony and enjoy the beach and ocean without having to step one foot in sand. There was a problem with drapes in master bedroom not closing completely. This let the sun shine in and made the room especially hot during the day. I would recommend adding a Kerig coffee maker.

We didn't enjoy our stay for several reasons. The most important being that the a/c never worked for the the for as long as possible. The sofa bed was not functional, so for the first night one of us had to sleep on the floor. The next day we got a twin mattress which means the unit was for 7 people and not 8 as advertised. I communicated all this to the management company and we got a refund of $164, which is totally insignificant considering we paid $2200.

The room was very clean and as shown in the pictures. A nice place and we would consider staying there again if the master bed mattress was replaced. That mattress was the equivalent of sleeping on the floor! Hard as a rock! That is our only complaint about this place. Otherwise a great location and great condo.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We love the extra beds in the 2nd BR so that my daughters (25 and 28) don’t have to sleep together. We love the location on the 5th floor and the location to the elevators, front and back.
I love the wonderful blackout curtains in the main BR so I can sleep late.
There is a new smart tv and patio furniture.
We had questions about the water heater because of a loud noise when the shower was running. We called the help line and they were then within the hour to check it out.
I hope we can return to Sandestin and would definitely rent this place again.

October 2020 Stay
Hated to leave. The condo was exactly like it was described. Had 1 minor problem with the tv and they had someone there to fix it within 5 minutes. Will definitely use GBR again. They we great to work with.

May 2021 Stay
Our vacation in this unit was fabulous. Clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. The girls loved the guest BR setup with the Queen and bunk beds.
Sooooo happy I had black out curtains in the master BR! Last year our condo had no curtains. Uggh!
We enjoyed reading your available books and worked on a puzzle you had.
Loved being on the 5th floor. The view was perfect.
We really liked the couches. Perfect sizes for the three of us to relax.
The only suggestion is to get a smart TV. We had a hard time getting the tv on a couple times and since we didn’t bring a streaming stick we went to buy one at Walmart so we could stream apps.
I hope to return to your unit again. May was a great time to come. Not crowded and we had perfect weather so we were able to use our beach chairs all day.

Beachside II 4252 was perfect. Exactly as it was described. Great view and location. It was very clean and well maintained. GBR was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything needed. The app is incredible and a great tool to have. Very useful. I would for sure recommend this property and GBR as well. We will be back. Be sure and eat @ Boshamps if you go. The Destin Snapper is unreal. If you play golf, I recommend the Links @ Sandestin. It's a great course
