About this condo rental
Nestled in Piran, this charming condo for $202 per night is a great option for your next vacation. A beautiful spacious apartment with a view of the sea from the rooftop terrace. The open floor plan in the dining/living room area is ideal for family and friend gatherings. Enjoy a cappuccino or a glass of wine on the terrace while watching the boats come in to the marina and watch the sunsets over the old town. Pets are welcome upon request and we charge a special cleaning fee . The apartment has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious living and dining room with a large fireplace. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, the second a Queen, the third a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. All the amenities of a home are provided - cotton linens and towels, a dishwasher, coffee maker, and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you need to prepare a delicious meal cooked with fresh fish and vegetables purchased from the local outdoor market. There are also two wonderful bakeries just near Tartini Square. Wi-Fi and cable TV with English, Slovenian, Italian and German channels are included. Air conditioning units are in the two front bedrooms as well as in the living room. The other two rooms have ceiling fans. The skylights in the living and dining area provide ample sunlight and include shades to filter out the sun when desired. The apartment is in the attic of the building and you must take the steps to the unit. For your convenience, we have a storage unit at the street level where baby strollers and bikes can be stored during your stay safely. There is covered parking in the public garages just outside the town center. Shuttle service is provided from the parking garage to the town center free of charge and runs every 15 minutes. If you enjoy walking, the walk is lovely and relaxing and one of many walks available in the town of Piran. Parking can be expensive in Piran but there are a couple of options. Please let us know if you'd like to receive information on alternate parking. Cleaning service can be provided.

Roman’s house was situated at the entrance to the town of Piran convenient to everything. We checked in via lockbox and found the home to be spotless and the deck overlooking the harbor one of the best we’ve experienced with views out to Italy and the quiet harbor. In November we had weather in the 60’s F but it was nice to build a fire at night in a huge fireplace as shown in the photos with cozy velvet lounge sofas you could sleep on.
The skylights bring in lots of daylight sun and he had heaters on a comfortable constant temp. Shower gel in shower/bath.
Very private area and very quiet at night, we loved our stay in this perfectly clean apartment in this beautiful town.
The deck has a table with chairs and cushions!
Outdoor Webber gas grill , nothing more that you would need.
Washer machine in kitchen with towel warmer in bath that dries clothes in a few hours!

Located downtown so you can walk everywhere. House is perfect for large groups. Easy check in and check out. Hosts responded quickly to any questions. Safe property. Lots of steps which we included as our daily workout. The gem of this property is the top deck. Table, chairs, umbrella, cushions and a grill provided. We spent a lot of time on the top deck.

The location could not have been more perfect and the view from the deck/upstairs patio was breathtaking. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. If I'm ever so lucky to return to Piran, I will opt to stay here every time.

Wieder mal ein traumhafter Urlaub...
Wir waren, nicht zum ersten Mal, mit der ganzen Familie dort und es waren wieder fantastische 4 Tage. We had a good stay in this original top floor property with outstanding views in the heart of pretty Piran. We loved the huge, comfortable lounge, the port hole windows, the roof top terrace and the fact that we were near the main square and some lovely bars and restaurants. However we felt the bedrooms were in need of some updating particularly the bed linen and towels. The property is reached by four steep flights of stairs, which would not be suitable for anyone elderly or for those with very young children. The stairs also become very slippery in wet weather as one of us found! Unfortunately we arrived in pouring rain and it was difficult to find the property and unload the luggage in the 15 minutes you have within the car free zone. The instructions over car parking was a little unclear to us which added to the general confusion.

This is a unique and charming apartment in a great location. We would definitely stay here again (and are already talking about when)!
The apartment is the entire third floor of a building plus multiple outdoor spaces. The decor is really cool, with portholes for windows, skylights, wood, tile and interesting furnishings. There is lots of storage space, laundry in the kitchen and drying lines on one terrace. The kitchen is very well appointed - we had brought knives and implements from home as we tend to find that rentals are pretty sparse and we didn't pull anything out of our luggage to use because we found everything we needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable as all have ceiling fans and two also have air conditioners. It was unseasonably warm when we were there in September, but the apartment was comfortable. The two bathrooms were more than adequate for our group of 5.
Then there is the upper roof deck, which looks out over the apartment. The stay here would be worth it just for that. It is large and has views of the sea, marina and the city. We had a hard time dragging ourselves down from here to tour the sites. It's pretty much 10 minutes' walk to anywhere in Piran. There is a grocery store on the same street just a couple of minutes away.
The only drawback I could see would be that there are a lot of stairs, all outdoors and quite uneven. We saw it as exercise, but for some they might be a problem.

Very nice Apt in Piran
Great location to sit on the deck and watch the boats on the water and the sunset. Apt was comfortable, large and well equipped. Nice views of the water and promenade. Kathi and Roman are very friendly and accessible. We rented the apt for nine nights and did it all without a car. buses are best way to get around. We had some lovely seafood meals.

The apt is in a perfect location to enjoy Piran or take a day trip to Ljubljana, Italy or Croatia. Everything you need is within short walking distance. Comfortable, spacious, well equipped, convenient
Piran.....the month of May passed far too quickly. The people, the food and of course, the apartment were wonderful. By the second day we felt completely "at home". The apartment is so well equipped and very comfortable. Its location is perfect.....a 5 minute stroll to Tartini Square and has an ever changing view from the roof deck across the harbor. This is the place to stay in Piran, unless you don't like the aroma of baking bread (great bakery right below; so fresh croissants and rolls every morning!!). We didn't want to leave! The flat was beautiful, and impressively large. It has such unique character--exposed beams in the lounge, and functioning porthole windows throughout. The furniture was all stylish and good quality. We could tell it was a well loved and cared for property. There was an amazing fireplace that we didn't wind up using, but it was gigantic. We loved sitting on the rooftop patio and soaking up the sun and sea views. Kathi and Roman were quick to reply to our questions and always very pleasant. A few things to be aware of for a good stay-1. there is no free car park in the area. The nearby parking garage is currently €17/day, and there's a free bus back to Piran that stops at the flat building. But, we asked a local who showed us some roads in/near Fieso that had free on-street parking. So we left our car there and walked about 1km back to the flat. Our car was fine, but obviously that could have been risky, and some will prefer the security of a car park. (though it seems like a very safe and friendly area). But once at the flat, there is no need for the car. Everything is within walking distance. 2. There are many steps to reach the flat. Almost 3 flights. This was fine for our group, we didn't mind at all because we were rewarded with such beautiful views!! But I did imagine if travelling with my older family members, this flat might not have been a good fit. There aren't steps inside the flat, just to enter.We loved staying here, and if we make it back to Slovenia, we'd love to return to the flat.

Wow...Unbelievable Stay
From our drive into Piran to stepping into the villa, this is exactly how I hoped our European vacation would begin. Kathi, the owner, was so helpful before our trip to the end. All the instructions were so informatative. We had a family of 8 staying at the villa from ages 9-75. There was so much space and comfort for all. It had everything we needed from 4 comfortable bedrooms, to a large family room with the best couch ever. Every day we walk downstairs to the bakery to get fresh donuts for breakfast. At night, we would head to the huge rooftop patio to watch the sunset for a glass of wine. The villa is in walking distance to everything...shops, restaurants, bars, tons of gelato stands. Coming from the United States, we really appreciated the space and luxury of all the amenities of the apartment including a dishwasher, washer, awesome showers, etc. Thanks, Kathi! We hope to visit again soon.

Stunning, charming, beautiful home!!!
Wow....from the grapes hanging over the entry way to the views from the upstairs deck....this home is AMAZING!!!! Piran is such a wonderful little town right on the water and we could see all of it from this "penthouse"...not to mention you can see Italy and Crotia too!! The beds are comfortable, the large dining room table is the perfect place to share your adventures of the day (or the day to come), get cozy on the couch by the fireplace, watch the sunset into the ocean from the upstairs deck, the wifi is strong if you need to take care of business....you will be in need of nothing when you stay here!!! It is clearly well cared for, spacious, clean and has incredible energy. It is the perfect home away from home....can't wait to come back!!!!

Piran was perfect
This house was outstanding for so many reasons. It has ample room in the living space and the bedrooms are comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and a reasonable size. Everything worked find. The upper deck, with its outstanding view of the sea, is EXCELLENT for sunsets or just relaxing. The house is right on the edge of the town and close to everything you need. You park about 500 meters up the road, but that is just part of the Piran experience. We had no problem with that at all. The bus runs back and forth all day and stops right out front.
We barbecued one night and enjoyed home cooked meals several nights. The whole house is well maintained, clean and was very suitable for our family. The owners were extremely responsive to our every need from the moment we began considering this location to the day we left. Actually, they helped us with locating good restaurants in Rome nearly a month after we left Piran. Very helpful.
We have been renting homes from VRBO for over 15 years and this is one of our favorite to date. We enjoyed Piran so much. It's a great little town. During the week we were there our girls made friends and hung out with them on the town square nearly every night. PIran was just the right size for us with plenty of things to do in the surrounding areas (Skocjan caves, visiting Ljubljana, Lipizanner horses, wine country). If you are considering the Northern Istrian Peninsula as a destination DO NOT hesitate to rent this home. It's great!

Gorgeous Place
Cannot possibly describe how perfect this flat in Piran is. It is evident from the moment you walk through the front door that the owners take great pride in and care of their property - making your experience nothing short of perfect. The beds and linens are of finest quality. Not only is this flat spacious and tastefully decorated/furnished, it is in an ideal location making walking wherever you could possibly want to go very easy. Explore the town, the shops, the Church and Bell Tower, enjoy delicious local food along the boardwalk while you watch the sea, swim, sunbathe, sail, kayak, catch a ferry to Venice, visit neighboring Portoroz. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Reaching the flat requires climbing a few stairs but the reward for a small amount of effort is an incomparable view of Piran and the Adriatic sea. Sitting on the terrace with a beer watching the sunset you will find yourself looking at your calendar trying to figure out when you can come back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Paradise in Piran!
This flat is one of a kind! It was beautiful, clean, and had more than enough room for our family of 8 people. The couch is extremely spacious, the sky lights are awesome, and the whole house is comfy cozy. It's also in a great location--a short walk to town, restaurants, nightlife, the beach, and even the ferry that can take you to Venice for the day. The views are incredible and we enjoyed lounging and watching the sunset on the terrace on the roof. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a blast, great accommodations with a roof top deck to enjoy the sunsets. Walking distance to everything, bicycle rentals, boat and scooter rentals and a ferry to Venice. Very comfortable bedding and wonderful opening skylights for fresh air. The boat port holes open as well and are a nice touch. Everything was well kept and working perfectly. We brought our family of 7 and we were all very comfortable. We will return.

Great vacations with friends and their families
Apartment is exactly how it is described, very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We liked very much BIG living area and bedrooms big enough to host families with children. It has also very well equipped kitchen. As were in the apartment during winter, we were pleasantly surprised that it was heated properly, which is not always the case in sea-side apartments. Location is great, as it is at the edge of the town, with few minutes walk to any place in Piran or nice walkabout on seaside to Portoroz. Owners are very helpful, responsive and nice. I would absolutely recommend this place to families with children or group of friends, as you can have some privacy sleeping in separate bedrooms and again have great time together in spacious living area.

Great vacations
We had a great time. The owners are very nice and helpful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to take advantage of the local markets, cook and have your meal on the awesome roof terrace. Beds are comfortable. The apartment is within walking distance from the bus stop, city beach and downtown with many restaurants, shops and cafes. You can take the bus to Portoroz (5min) if you want a bit louder fun, boutique shopping, kids amusement park or sandy beach. We liked there the Cacao Bar - Ice cream place and great local fast food fish place called Ribja Cantina.
We made a day trip to nearby Croatia town Groznjan with fun galleries and great food. The best food we had was in the restaurant Ribic, 10 minutes drive, reservation is a must!
I would recommend this place for two families or group of friends who don't mind many stairs as is common in many cliff tows.
