Peggy Macs & Johnie Macs is centrally located at 2727 Foster in the preferred, family friendly subdivision of Sandy Shores, which is 1/2 mile east of the Big Store. The house offers reasonable rates. Average summer rates (Mem. Day - Labor Day) : $175/wk.night. $500/weekend, $1200,week. Average winter rates: $100-125weeknight, $200-$300/weekend, $600-700/week. Long term rentals are discounted. Just ask! Some holiday weekends have a 2-3 night minimum. One night rentals are available the majority of the year. Situated in the heart of Crystal Beach, this pet friendly (2 max on approval at booking) with fenced area is close and convenient to everything. This well kept 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, will accommodate 6 max regardless of age at any given time, on approval at booking. This guest count includes visitors at any time. Sheets & bath towels are available. The house is equipped with TVs in the den and bedrooms, WIFI, and a fully stocked kitchen. The outside deck can be covered using the sun shade sails provided. It has a straight view of the ocean, which is just a short walk away and easily assessable by golf cart or car. Downstairs features a BBQ pit, picnic table, chairs, swing, outside shower, and large lot surrounded by beautiful landscaping.

This house is in the smaller side but they took advantage of all the space, me and my sister just stayed for one night but it was nice. I like that they dont force a cleaning fee on you and allow you to clean yourself if you would like, since we only slept there one night we didnt mind cleaning and it saved us $100. The yard was perfect for our dog as well. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed returning to Bolivar peninsula. The home was in a very nice neighborhood and was well decorated and stocked. They had great outdoor furnishings both upstairs and on the ground level. I appreciated how clean everything was.

We took a quick trip to Bolivar for to attend a birthday party. Needed somewhere close to the other beach house where the party was being held and found this quaint little place. Although the furniture inside is a bit dated, it worked for what we needed. Check-in/out process was super easy and the property contact was kind and helpful.

Be sure and bring everything you need with you- including all paper products. The house only had 2 partial rolls of toilet paper and and an almost empty roll of paper towels.

We traveled to Crystal Beach for a wedding. The neighborhood was great. The house was perfect for our small family!! But could easily accommodate more. Very cozy.

Everything was great. Close to the beach, nice private neighborhood entrance to the beach. Kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils so you can cook your meals no problem. Washer and dryer in the house is a giant must for me so it was awesome to have them. Outdoor shower, storage room, and grill is available which was super convenient. We were able to rinse all of our beach items and store them for the next day. We were able to meet Johnnie the first day and Peggy came by morning of checking out, super nice couple and you can tell they care about their property. The fenced in area was nice for our dog. Bring your own paper goods and soaps! Overall, my family had a great time :)

The property was clean and very comfortable with a easy check in. Very close to the beach with beach entry in the neighborhood very close to the house. Nice for kids in pets, the yard by the stairs has a fenced area. Would definitely stay again!!

We loved our stay! The house and yard were very clean. The house was decorated retro and Cute! Our location was very convenient to the beach and Big Store, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The owner communicated precisely and very well, we knew just what to expect. If we are in that area again, we would stay At Ms. Peggy’s place.

We enjoyed our short trip to Crystal Beach. Loved being able to drive our vehicle onto the beach. Peggy Macs was great place to return to after a long day at the beach. It had everything we needed. The outdoor shower in the back was super helpful to get all the sand off before going inside. We fixed our own dinners as opposed to eating out thanks to all the provided pots and pans. We did go out for dessert. Check out Busta-Lime and Rita’s. We would choose to stay again if we ever return to Crystal Beach!

Husband and I had a very nice stay at Peggy & Macks. Very cute house and accommodation were great for us and our two dogs. The fenced in yard really was great to have. Neighborhood was very nice and quick access to the beach. We will definitely book again with Peggy and Mack.

The property was perfect for a family weekend away. Owners were friendly and easy accessible when we needed anything. The neighborhood was very busy on the weekend we visited but so is all of the Galveston area in summertime. Property was clean, updated, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time! Bring your own dish soap and kitchen trash bags, those items are not included as cleaning supplies.

Peggy and her husband were great hosts, very available. The house is an older one but was very comfortable and clean. Great place for a small family. Neighborhood is quiet, about a 15 minute drive from High Island birding spots, 5-10 minute walk down to the beach. We enjoyed Stingarees and Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp restaurants that the hosts recommended.

The house was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood is also very nicely kept. It’s a short walk or drive to the actual beach. We had our grand babies ages 3 & 5 with us & this was the perfect location for them. They enjoyed playing outside at the house almost as much as the beach. I would definitely recommend & will rent again in the future. We loved it
