About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Almanor West, this lovely house for $385 per night is a great option for your next trip. If Customer pays with credit card, Customer will be charged 3% of total cost. Room to Roam at this immaculate Lake Almanor West Shore home. This home sets on a grassy knoll with a spacious deck for dining, grilling or enjoying morning coffee while watching the sunrise. In addition there is a deck across the back of the home where you can watch family and friends play a game of horseshoes. This home has charming accents with entry foyer, large living room with gas stove, flat screen T.V. DVD, DISH network, and game table, Fully equipped kitchen, island with seating, dining area. Separate laundry room, with washer and dryer. The garage is set up in the summer as a game room with ping pong table and other game tables and chairs. Bed sizes; 4-queens in home. Separate studio apartment sleeps 2-4 people 2-doubles. If client cancels at anytime there is a $200.00 Cancellation fee for processing. Lake Almanor West Community Club has a large grassy park/recreation area located on the lake with a swim beach, picnic tables, bar-b-ques, and play equipment. Tennis courts, golf course, restaurant, boat ramp. There is an $80.00 fee charged by the club, you pay on a separate form directly to the club. Lake Almanor is 'The Best Kept Secret in California' and because it is a 52 square mile lake it is not crowded.Summer water temperatures reach 70-75 degrees. This is the perfect lake for water and jet skiing, swimming, boating and fishing.

This was our first time in years staying in Lake Almanor West. The area is very peaceful and since we are boaters, launching our boat everyday was extremely easy. We found the house to be very clean and well equipped, although some items are showing wear and tear. The house is certainly large enough for a family of 6, providing plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. We never did see the apartment as we had no reason to use it. We did not use the garage area for playing ping pong etc. as we did find it to be musty and not very clean. Our favorite area was the back deck where we ate dinner everynight, played cards and just took in the peacefulness. The kitchen was large and very well equipped and cooking up a big breakfast and dinner was super easy. All in all, we enjoyed this house. However, the listing states the house has air and when reading further on, you read that it's a window type air conditioner in the dining area cooling that area only. We accepted that and were grateful for at least that much cooling. But, upon arriving at the house, a hand written sign on the unit, by the owners, I assume, read that the unit "should only be on when cooking"! This was not anywhere in the listing or the contract. We arrived in 95 degree weather which only got hotter day by day. The house had 3 - 4 fans and we brought one which helped as much as fans can. So, nice, clean, well equipped house with pluses but can be very hot!

Relaxing time in spite of a few smoky days!
This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this home and we almost didn’t come because of the fires in CA, but once we arrived, we were very glad we did! The home is very comfortable and spacious and has everything to have a relaxing memorable stay! Games, cards, ping pong, darts, and a great paperback library await you! We enjoyed the large deck overlooking green grass lawn with regular visits from local mama and baby deer!

We had 4 adults and 4 kids, and it was perfect for us all. Enough space for kids to run around outside. The outlaw was handy for me as an early riser, and not wake the main house. Great location near the lake though, and 1 hr from Lassen. We'll be back to the lake again for sure, kids had a blast.

Wonderful Home
Property was very clean, and had everything needed for an incredibly easy stay. Property management was wonder to work with, and check-in / check-out process was smooth. Hoping to stay again in the near future.

Spacious, Comfortable, and Fun House!
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this home in early Sept. It was very clean, and spacious with a well equipped kitchen! We particularly enjoyed the ping pong table and darts in the garage, as well as the large family room in which to watch tv and play games at night. The separate granny unit was ideal for our sons' family to stay as it afforded extra privacy and flexibility for our 3 year old grandson. We all thoroughly enjoyed the home and hope to return next year!

This is a lovely, tastefully furnished and decorated home with large rooms and a nice, big deck. We rented it last year, and enjoyed it so much that we rented it again this year. It's very comfortable and not far from the lake.

Loved Dianne Martin who managed this gorgeous property. She was available when ever I had any questions as this was my first VRBO experience. My family had the time of their lives. This was a very well run place with the owner making an appearance when I had a question. She came out personally. Who gets that kind of service. It’s a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. Great Family vacation!
Beautiful house, beautiful setting. In a neighborhood community that was very well-kept, clean and peaceful. House provided plenty of room for 10 with lots of lawn and deck area too. The community rec/beach area was perfect with easy access for swimming, kayaking, bocci ball, basketball, and much more. Perfect vacation for relaxing or partaking in numerous outdoor activities.

Beautiful rental!
Very comfortable accommodations. Well maintained. Plenty of room in the bedrooms & bathrooms. The EXTRA large living room is supplied with a large flat screen tv with satellite reception. Many games are available to play in the evenings. The main garage has a ping-pong table, dart board and poker table! The kitchen is beautiful & is complete with all kitchenware. The studio apartment above the detached garage is large & beautiful.
The yard is large enough for kids to throw a football around or play other games.
The only criticism I would have is the owners put a new portable air conditioner in the kitchen/dining room, but it is not nearly enough to cool down the house in the heat of summer.

Very nice!
Enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It had practically everything one would need for a comfortable stay at such a beautiful location. The living room is huge and the furniture is comfortable. Love the kitchen! The bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the home from the living room which makes it really nice for those trying to sleep while others may want to watch TV or play games. There is a lovely little studio above the second garage...nice getaway from the main house. The front deck is very peaceful and you can even catch a tiny view of Lake Almanor. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay...hope to come back!
