About this cabin rental
Nestled in Lake Almanor West, this lovely cabin for $524 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Absolutely beautiful Lindal Cedar home on the Golf Course in Lake Almanor West. views of the course across two fairways. This home offers plenty of room for all with spacious great room and recreation room complete with wet bar. High soaring open beam ceilings in the great room. Abundance of windows offers lots of natural light. Hickory hardwood floors and pine cabinets Tons of things to do in almanor. Fishing, boating, hiking just to make a few. There are a ton of fishing poles and gear around that you are welcome to use. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with most things you need for cooking. Spice cabinet is full and are welcome to use anything. Washer a dryer in mud room is available for use. There is a cabinet full of games for older kids and adults. Also some toys for younger kids. Pretty much welcome to use anything in the house. We just ask you try your best to take care of things. We only lock the garage and one closet inside where we store personal things. The living room/ great room/ kitchen with high ceilings a big windows is by far my favorite part of the house. The 6 bedrooms, and second living room downstairs is also a big plus. Plenty of Bathrooms which are clean and in great shape, but are a little small and basic finishes. Golf course and many restaurants are only open in peak season, which is typically from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Also the area outside the neighborhood was burned by Dixie fire pretty bad, so the drive in is not what it used to be.

This house had all the room we needed for our growing family and the location was great; right on the golf course, a short walk to the lake. There were cobwebs both inside and out and both grandbabies got splinters in their feet from the deck, but other than those two things, it was great!

My extended family and I all stayed here for four nights for a family reunion/70th birthday celebration for my mom. We had an absolutely wonderful time. This place is huge and gorgeous and well stocked with basically anything you could need. If you have littles, it's stocked with a booster, pack n play, kid plates/cups/silverware and one baby gate. There are a lot of stairs, so you need to be careful with that, but it's pretty well baby proofed. There's a huge kids room downstairs with all sorts of toys/books. The bunk beds are amazing- they seem custom made, low enough for my toddler to sleep on without a problem but also great for school aged/teenagers.
The neighborhood is great, it's a short drive to the lake with a wonderful playground, beach area. We rented a pontoon boat one day and had a great time. It's a short drive into the cute town of Chester.
My only cons were that it got a bit hot in the summer, even with fans (mostly in the upper upstairs), but with windows open to cool off at night it was just fine. Oh also, bring bug spray cuz the bugs out back are CA-RAZY!

We had a great time and this was the perfect location. Only complaint would be no AC, but we know it typically isn’t as hot up there as it was during our stay. Might suggest a portable AC unit or two as backup ☺️

Our stay was good. There were a few hiccups with the appliances but the owner was on top of the repairs.
The overall cleanliness was not up to par considering a cleaning fee. Lots of personal toiletries left behind by other guests and patios areas were covered in dust and pollen as well as a lot of spiderwebs.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable.

Relaxing. Played golf and pickleball in the HOA. Visited Lassen NP. Road bikes on bike trail around lake. Fished. Our main reason for trip was to visit with family members who live far from each other. Set up for that was perfect.

This home is a well kept, spacious, and right on the golf course. Also, the property owner is very gracious and communicative. This is the second time we have stayed here, and it would be a privilege to stay again in the future.

We had a few challenges with losing power, an icy driveway, and the guys couldn’t watch football because the tv was not operating, but Brandon was very responsive and none of the challenges kept us from enjoying the beautiful home. We hope to go back!

Nice house with a gorgeous view! Brandon was such an amazing host!
Brandon was such a great host! Unfortunately when we arrived at the house the smoke from the Dixie fire was very thick near Lake Almanor. I texted Brandon and he showed up within minutes and said if we wanted to leave he would refund us our full amount so we decided to leave. Later that night they did evacuate the area. We would definitely come back and stay at this home. We came with another family and we both have adult children and the house was plenty big for all 10 of us. It would have been so nice to have dinner out on that patio!

The property is lovely with a beautiful view. Lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was very well supplied, there were lots of dishes, glasses and even big pots for cooking for a large group. We would definitely stay again. The lake is great for water sports and not crowded. Loved our stay.

Great for a Golf Getaway
Awesome house that was perfect for a golf trip with the guys. Very clean, plenty of space, and comfortable. Only complaint would be the lack of WiFi, but we survived. Would definitely stay here again.

Brandon was very helpful in setting up this fun vacation for family and grandmas 80th Bday. Home was well furnished and clean. Nice location and peaceful. The layout of home was perfect for a family of 10. Will stay again!

This house had everything you could think of except for WiFi. Brandon is very transparent and when we showed up, the place was spotless. Highly recommend staying here.

Lake Almanor House
Great location with nice amenities. Plenty of beds for the people in my group. The golf course was a delightful surprise; very well maintained and challenging enough for our group. Would consider staying there again.

The property was a beautiful location right on the golf course we played. The cabin was more than perfect for our needs! The owner Brandon was very nice to deal with, even text to make sure all was ok with our stay the day we arrived 😊 I would most definitely rent again!

We enjoyed the property very much. No TV on the main floor was okay with us but some may object. Access to WiFi would have been a plus.

Weekend get away
The house is perfect for a large group. It was a beautiful home located close to the lake and was apart of a nice HOA with lots of activities to participate in. Brandon was very accommodating and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to be back again!
