Situated in Los Barriles, this lovely condo for $91 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. After a 45 minute drive down an excellent highway from Los Cabos Airport, you will come to the crystal clear Bahia de Palmas. The condo is directly on the beach and has spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. Relax in the quiet pool-just a few steps from the condo. Snorkel and kayak right from the beach in front. There is an amazing variety of tropical fish and live coral. Enjoy long walks on the beach and stop at the nearby resort to schedule a massage or enjoy a poolside margarita. Los Barriles has several excellent restaurants or you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen. Go deep sea fishing then cook your tuna on the grill! Enjoy hiking, windsurfing, kitesurfing,horseback riding and ATV tours of the Arroyos. Take day trips to Cabo Pulmo Marine sanctuary, Punta Pescadero, Cabo san Lucas, or La Paz. Amazing view, very well appointed condo. Had everything we needed and more!
The bed and linens were so comfortable, we went to change our home ones now! Air conditioning was used but we like the sound of the ocean, and it’s not hot at night.
We don’t mind stairs and the pool was lovely.
We spent most of the time on the beaches.

Booked a quick trip to get out of town for a few days and didn’t do my homework as throughly as I should have! Apparently September is off-season and many restaurants/shops are closed until the first of October. It was totally fine, there were still plenty of options available.
The condo is perfectly situated on the beach with a bunch of rocks out front that made for fun snorkeling. Super easy to find and a quick drive from the airport. The unit was well stocked, both in the kitchen and with beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, fishing gear, coolers, etc). AC units worked great and cooled the place down in minutes. Bed was comfy, no complaints whatsoever!
I do highly recommend a trip to Cabo Pulmo if you’re more serious about snorkeling or diving, it was super beautiful with a wide variety of fish!

We enjoyed our stay, as expected. The host was easy and quick to communicate with. And the unit is nicely furnished with everything you should need. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return again. Thank you to the host for having us.

Condo was right on the beach with great views of the sunrise. Unit was clean and comfortable, if not a bit dated. It did have everything I needed for my stay. Pool was a few steps away and was used everyday. There were only a few other people staying at the Condo and were very friendly and helpful. I rented an ATV for the week so the distance from the main part of town was not too much of an issue.

We loved this condo on the Sea of Cortez. Very clean and peaceful. Slept great in the comfortable bed. Wonderful snorkeling right in front of the condo.
The hosts Wendy and Brant were great and Wolf Management was easy to connect with when we had questions.

This rental was a piece of paradise! It is so beautiful at Mar y Sol. The view alone is amazing. The owners were so helpful. I loved my stay. I relied on taxis to get to town. Everyone is so friendly & helpful❣️

Great times in Los Barriles
Beautiful views and such a great place to visit. Condo was awesome and I would suggest renting a quad or a car. People in the complex were very friendly and so willing to help out with any questions we had. Will come back for sure😊

Great View & Comfortable Accommodations
We had a wonderful week's stay at Mar Y Sol and the view from this unit was perfect - we watched the sunrise on the deck with our coffee in the morning and enjoyed the view throughout the rest of the day. The unit is well-equipped and the king-size bed was comfortable - all made for a memorable stay! Easy access to the beach for walking and just a short distance by car into town for restaurants and groceries. We hope to return again!

We slept with the doors and windows open to the sea breezes. The corner window allows a fabulous view of the bay from which you can do some whale spotting, and watch the kite-surfers. The best condo in the complex
The unit is the best for catching the breezes, and windows and the slider can be open all night (all screened). The wonderful sounds of the ocean are soothing and make for a good night's sleep, or a great nap.

Wonderful Stay
I don't usually do reviews but this property is an exceptional value for the money. A full kitchen and separate bedroom/living room for less than half the price of the nearby resort hotel
.The views are tremendous. Miles of beautiful beach in either direction. The condo is very close to the water so you can easily see sea life. We saw a whale from the deck!
The condo is clean and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need to make your meals.
A previous review mentioned that there was a loose railing on the balcony. We did not find this to be the case so it must have been repaired. The locals said they had some unusual November storms so that might have caused the problem. The furniture seemed fine now.
The owner is very easy to work with and answered all our questions.
Los Barriles is a pleasure and has some wonderful restaurants. The draw here are the beaches and the ocean. We went fishing one day and caught 2 dorado which a local restaurant prepared for our dinner.
All in all a great place!

Our two week stay in unit 202
Mar Y Sol and unit 202 is in a great location with easy access to the beach, swimming pool, town and surrounding area. We did however we have some concerns with the unit.
1. The entry lock was working poorly the first few days to the point it quit working all to gather. We bought and installed new batteries and restored the lock to working order.
2.The sofa is worn out and beyond cleaning.
3. The shower head needs to be replaced. The water coming out of it feels like tinny bb’s.
4. Shower head rack keeps falling down, soap, shampoo. And all.
5. Shower curtain is to short, allowing for water to flood the bathroom floor.
6. Closet safe cannot be opened for use.
7. Patio railing is in danger of falling off.
8. Air conditioning unit is the bedroom is very moldy and the closets smell of it.
We would like to rent unit 202 for an annual two week stay if it would be safer and more comfortable.

Our first visit to the East Cape
We enjoyed our 7 day stay and the property, even while not "in town", was very convenient to everywhere we needed to be. Beautiful oceanfront views and spectacular sunrises! Just a few concerns related to the property: The pool was not clean when we arrived and was not available to use until the 3rd day. The living room sofa also seemed a bit worn and needed cleaning. Also, the bath towels all had a very musty odor and we had to wash them 2x to try to get the smell out, even then there was a lingering odor. Might consider replacing them, given the ocean climate and frequent use. Otherwise, we loved Los Barilles and plan to return!

Beautiful view of Sea of Cortez
Property is older, but perfect for us. Overlooking the pool and the ocean was fantastic! Location is very convenient to restaurants and bars. Beach is rocky, but very nice snorkeling and kayaking right in front of the property. Don’t leave food out on counters due to ants. We forgot about this and had some visitors. Overall experience was great and definitely would stay again on future trips.

So relaxing!
We loved staying at this condo! From drinking coffee on the patio each morning while watching the sunrise to listening to the rays slap the water in the evenings and stargazing, this condo had everything to make us happy!
Snorkling is great right in front of the condo and we also had fun kayaking. The condo and grounds are beautiful and well kept up.
We can’t wait to go back!

We loved this condo unit!
This is the second time we have stayed at this condo complex. This unit had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked with the basics, plenty of towels, and beach toys. The corner window and view off the patio were perfect. I never tired of the view.

A perfect location on the beach!
We spent five nights this wonderful condo! We couldn’t have asked for a better location, right on the beach! Out the main door and down some steps to a great sandy beach within a minute. And we virtually had the entire beach to ourselves. The clean, welcoming condo had everything we needed and we loved the proximity to both Los Barilles and Buena Vista! We will definitely return to Mar y Sol!!

Lovely Beachfront Location
This beachfront condo really does have outstanding views of clear, blue waters and amazing sunrises. The snorkeling was excellent right in front of the condo. In fact, we went to Punta Pescadero one day and did not find the snorkeling better in that location (but still extremely pretty and worth the drive). My son and husband spent countless hours shore fishing and even made delicious ceviche with their catch. We were particularly excited by a "show" put on by a school of leaping mobula rays one afternoon! We were there off season and the beach was blissfully quiet with only scattered pockets of tourists and day tripping locals. The condo was not fancy but clean, had the basic necessities, and was adequately sized for our family of three. The common area - including the pool and terrace - were also very clean and had lovely views of the cacti and oceanfront. One suggestion would be to purchase a sit on top kayak (they are so inexpensive these days) for guests' use. We were itching to get out a bit further than our snorkeling would take us. This would be an attractive amenity for prospective guests.
