Highland Huckleberry Lodge was even better than expected. Spacious enough for our two families of four. The bunk room was a great escape for the kids and the ping pong table was great for added competition. The adults loved the hot tub and the fireplaces throughout. The kitchen was well-equipped and the grill made it easy to cook dinners all week. Proximity to the mountain was perfect even if the snow wasn't good enough for ski in/ ski out. A short drive to town for the nights we didn't feel like cooking. The house was clean and the beds and couches were very comfortable. Overall a great stay!

House was beautiful and situated in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. House had plenty of room for the four of us and was like new. Had plenty of amenities and truly enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks on the back deck with views of the mountain and ski resort. Would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area looking for a place close to the parks, ski resort and town.

We had a great stay at the Huckleberry Lodge. Accommodated our group of 10 easily and comfortably. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive down to town - super easy. Beautiful location and fully stocked!

Congrats on bedroom air filters, but the swamp coolers provided inadequate cooling and the dust filters need replacing in the swamp coolers. Temps inside averaged 90F and were uncomfortable throughout our stay. Tnx for copious fans, but perhaps a whole-house fan —absence forest fires—could help cool the house at night to get some thermal inertia if air conditioning system is out of the question. BIG SAFETY PROBLEM: On opening the oven door, I was enveloped in high temperature stream that slightly burned my face. Glasses protected my eyes. Try baking with the convection oven 425F with a heavy pan of baked sweet potatoes. Literally I was enveloped in a cloud of high temp steam as I cracked open the oven. Not sure what the problem is. Oven had been off for 10 minutes after a 45 minute cooking cycle. This problem is DANGEROUS and puts your clients, the owner and your agency at risk.

We rented this house (and 1 other from this company) for our elopement. We had around 30 people, all from out of state, and these two houses together were great for our group. Plenty of space to hang out, have meals together, cook, get ready for the wedding, take some neat pictures, and still have some space to share. Between table games, a hot tub, and small appliances, the house had everything we needed! The location is one of the best parts. It's on the mountain a little ways out of town to provide privacy and the feeling of being in Montana, but not too far outside of Whitefish either.

Have stayed there twice. May/June and again in September. The home is beautifully designed and functional. Family room flows past fireplace into dining room and kitchen. The entire house is sensibly planned. Very convenient with panoramic views of the mountain. In summary, the house is fantastic. Location to mountain and skiing is super convenient. Town of Whitefish is a few minutes drive. Variety of restaurants and shops. Not far from Glacial National Park. We plan to return again in the summer for the relaxation, hiking, exploring the area around Whitefish and fresh air. The house and Whitefish will be part of our annual vacation plans.

I have stayed in many vacation homes and this home is one of my favorites! The location is perfect. The ski runs are easily accessible right outside the house. There is nothing like waking up in the morning to the beautiful view of the mountains. This home is so comfortable. There are 3 king size beds all with their own bathrooms. There is a large bunk room downstairs. The house is well stocked with anything you need. It has such a warm inviting feel throughout. There is also an upstairs nook which has a zen den. A perfect place to exercise or meditate. I can't wait to stay here again. You are also only 15 min from the downtown area full of wonderful restaurants and shops. The lake is also close by. This is the perfect place whether it's winter or summer!
