About this cabin rental
Two Log Cabins, 6 plus acres, a cascading waterfall, a clear pond, streams, a quiet walk, tall trees, fresh air, a simple moment in time, all wrapped up in the mountain tops of the NC High Country.
The Cabins of Sugar Grove invite you to plan your escape. Our cabins are 2BR/2Bath along with spacious lofts that have sleeper sofas. We've thought of everything.........just pack your bag.
Bring your favorite book or borrow one of ours. Take a walk, take a deep breath, take a minute to remember or to forget......
Spend twilight among the trees, spend an evening under the stars & around a campfire or curl up on a sofa with a blanket and enjoy a movie from our collection.

“This was our third trip back to the Treehouse. The first was when Shawn proposed to me in October 2000. This was a special trip back for us because our 2 year old son Evan is with us and another on the way. He loved the porch swing, throwing rocks in the waterfall, playing with all the leaves, roasting marshmallows, looking for bears in the cabin with the flashlight. We look forward to returning many times. Thanks again for the beautiful place to stay.”
“It’s Friday morning. I’m sitting here on the porch and it’s 15 degrees. That’s hard to believe when you are from Florida. We came here in search of snow and were fortunate enough to have flurries on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We also came in search of family time......time together without the distractions of life. We spent our days in the snow, exploring the pond and waterfall, sliding down the snow banks, and throwing snowballs. We spent our nights playing board games and charades in front of the fire. The cabin was the perfect backdrop for our family adventure.”

We loved everything about the treehouse. We especially loved the lightning bugs and salamanders in the surrounding woods. My girls got to talk back and forth with an owl one night as well so that was pretty special to them.

This property was amazing. My cousins and I were there for a girls weekend/reunion . It was our first time doing a VRBO property rental together. We will 100% do it again.I will be sharing our experience of this lovely cabin and our wonderful stay in Banner Elk with all of our friends, family, and coworkers. To Rebecca the owner, you have thought of everything. From the well appointed kitchen & extra pillows (just her name a few) to lovely decor. We all commented on different pieces we loved and admired throughout the weekend.I especially love the fairy lamp in the loftThank you so much for letting us make new memories in your wonderfully cozy cabin in the woods. PS: for anyone staying at the cabin looking for a very special treat make a trip to Apple Hill Farm (alpacas, and llamas)just minutes from the cabin you won’t be disappointed

Wonderful stay! Great communication and smooth check in and out. Impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. If you're looking for a nice, quiet, cabin in the woods, this is it. Already planning a return visit next spring.

Beautiful, private spot, you feel like you are in a rain forest. The house is great, but we spent more time on the porch and in the creek.
