Nestled in Bridgetown, this attractive condo for $88 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Our studio apartment is ideally located in Rockley Golf & Country Club, Christ church, on the lively south coast of Barbados. Barbados is one of the most exciting islands to visit in the Caribbean, with many fantastic beaches and a variety of other fun activities to choose from. Our rates are the most competitive available, we give good advice and our guests have all been extremely satisfied with their stay. Our reviews are excellent. This lovely studio apartment is in a quiet, peaceful setting, suiting 1 or 2 people, looking onto the 7th green/ 8th fairway of Rockley golf course. The apartment is fully furnished with a/c, new t.v.(cable), phone, internet, queen size bed, dining table & chairs etc. In the well equipped kitchen fridge, stove/oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc. can be found. The bathroom and changing areas has bathtub, shower, toilet, sink and mirrors. On the private patio are table and deck chairs, along with a gas barbecue. Rockley Resort is ideally located on the mid-south coast of Barbados, close to beaches (Accra and Worthing), the historic (a World Heritage site) Garrison area with museum, horse racing and George Washington House. Rockley is within walking distance of banks, Worthing post office, supermarkets and many other shops including Cave Shepherd duty free. The Quayside Centre is also close. There are many restaurants and bars along the south coast and the best ones are only minutes from your apartment! There is something to suit all tastes from 'fast food' to top class French cuisine. Other attractions: Swimming pool, Golf courses, Tennis courts, great beaches, surfing, wind and kite-surfing, diving and snorkeling, water-skiing, deep-sea fishing, sailing and catamaran charters, horse racing, museum, art galleries, Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, music and cultural shows etc.

The apartment was just what we needed. We enjoyed golfing at Rockley Golf Club and a swim in the quiet pool every day. Close enough to walk for groceries, the beach and restaurants. Rory and Juliet are wonderful hosts.

The host was informative and made sure I had everything I needed. The property was lovely, clean and well equipped. Enjoyed sitting on the small patio outside overlooking the golf course. There were also monkeys playing nearby. The bus was a 10-15 minute walk downhill, (though obviously that meant it was up hill to get to the accommodation). Overall a wonderful stay.

Our host, Rory, and his lovely wife were fantastic. Always available if needed, they provided great ideas of where to eat and visit, and they were just incredibly nice. This suite is located in Bushy Park on Rockley Golf Course - a quiet location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and attractions. Laundry services available, pool was super, gardens were beautiful and loads of free parking. The bed was comfortable. I prefer a softer mattress with firmer pillows, but everyone's preference is different so I would rate the bed 4 out of 5. Bathroom had tons of areas to store your personal items and the kitchen had a working stove and oven with a full size fridge.

Rory and Bridget met with us at the condo and were finalizing cleaning from the previous tenant. Very nice people, explained everything to us about the condo and things to do and where to go. I commented before our arrival I was looking forward to the local "Banks" beer, and they left us a cold 6 pack in the fridge! They even drove us to the local grocery store and showed us how to get the free shuttle back! Excellent hosts who followed up through the 2 weeks and responded quickly to a minor patio chair repair. The flat was a studio and had everything we needed(gas barbeque too) and was very cost competitive; somewhat dated but absolutely adequate and we cooked there and sat on the patio and watched the monkeys on the golf course netting. Many warm pools and friendly residents. TV programming was also very good, with lots on to watch in the evenings. Golf course restaurant was nice and food was good but service was on island time(slow). A daily 12-15 minute walk to Rockley beach which was very nice. Other beaches were easily accessed by riding the local buses for $1us from the main road or to Pat's in Dover for fish fry on Friday(a must do! go before 5, it becomes a zoo later), or to St. Lawrence Gap for dinner and night life. We enjoyed the Tiki bar at the beach, where they charged you $30us PP for umbrella and chairs, but then gave you coupons for food and beer for the same value- food was good and service was good too! The nacho's were good and large at Bert's- excellent for Canadian hockey fans. Cab's were pretty cheap later after dark since walking back to the golf course on poorly lit roads without sidewalks seemed adventurous(we had a bad experience in Punta Cana). Always felt safe and everyone was very helpful. Ted's Island tour was excellent and a lot of fun(got a little long though). The caves were also cool to see but add the pottery place on the way or the Mount Gay rum tour to maximize the value of the cost of the drive up there. All in all, great trip and excellent hosts and great weather! Will go back! Ed and Debbie Chatham, Ontario, Canada
