Mountain and Ski Slope Views from this Penthouse Rustic Mountain Retreat (2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms) are Fabulous here at Black Bear Lodge--across the street from Silver Lake Village in Upper Deer Valley! Winter & Summer is 'bustling' on the mountains. The lifts (5 minute walk) take you to some of the most incredible ski and bike runs! Whether it is hiking, fishing, the Olympic Training Center, there is something for everyone. Summer time is a great opportunity to shop the 'Old Town' Art Galleries and the restaurants. Whether it is skiing, mountain biking, strolling the glamorous Silver Lake Village grounds, enjoying the private hot tub on the deck, or just relaxing with a good book … this is the place to be! After a Scenic 45 minute drive from Salt Lake City Airport, drive into your underground, heated parking lot; unload the car(s), and step into one of three convenient garage elevators. These will 'whisk' you away up to the 'Open-air' Top floor, rustic-wood walkway. Our Fully-stocked Kitchen and breakfast bar, Rustic appointments, Interior log accents, a Sleeper-Sofa, and a Natural-stone gas fireplace await you! We also have a Private Balcony & Hot tub; and Two Bedrooms-- both with amazing Ski Slope Views. The Ensuite Bedroom features a King-size Bed, as well as a 'Single' Sleeper Sofa, while the other bedroom features a 'classic' Bunk Bed (full-size lower and upper). Additionally, both Bathrooms feature 'Whirlpool bath tubs'. And a Sleeper Sofa in living room Equipped with wireless internet access, three TVs, full kitchen, elevator access, underground parking. And Central AC for the occasional hot summer day. Also included: Private stacked washer/dryer Black Bear Lodge amenities: Heated outdoor pool and spa (Summer, Fall), BBQ area and exercise room for the entire complex. (Presently closed due to COVID restrictions) *We have an additional/separate 2-bedroom/3 bath unit on 3rd floor --VRBO #1032700 Trip Cancellation Insurance STRONGLY RECOMMENDED during ski season: December 15th - April 15th! All guests purchasing 'trip cancellation insurance' for reservations between December 1 and April 15th, will receive a credit off their stay of $25 per day; and they will also have the option of canceling their reservation, up to 48 hours after it is made, with no penalty. *VRBO and Homeaway abide by our strict cancellation policy; however, Airbnb does have an extenuating circumstance clause. *We have a flexible cancellation policy during times when COVID19 restrictions prevent the use of Deer Valley Ski Facilities and/or prevent air travel into or out of Salt Lake City. Cancellations and full refunds will be given to paying guests, should both Park City and Deer Valley Ski Resorts be shut down for skiing, during their reservation--due to Covid restrictions. Alternatively, a 50% refund will be given to those guests who may choose to stay and enjoy the accommodations, during the shutdown period. ** Firm 30 day Cancellation Policy on all other occasions, and 50% refund up to 7days before check-in. The cabin was lovely, clean and well stocked. Beautifully decorated. Perfect location for easy walk to lifts. The little Christmas tree was a special touch for our pre-Christmas getaway. Communication from owner was timely and provided all the right info. Thank you!

We had a nice stay for an October. Be aware there is no one on premises to help but we had nice communication through the property manager. The elevator was not running for our stay so climbing the 4 flights of stairs with groceries and luggage was not fun but we made it work! Beautiful setting. Greatly stocked!

Property was just as described. Very comfortable! On the negative, a better mattress and pillows would be an improvement. Also, instructions on how to operate the TVs should be included in the information packet.

We had a wonderful stay- great condo with fully stocked kitchen, making it easy to cook meals after a day out skiing. Short walk to ski valet and SilverLake lodge- getting around couldn’t have been easier. The property was clean and cozy- exactly as advertised! Would stay here again and again.

This condo is everything you need and more. The convenience of the location is perfect. Just 200 yards and you are on the slopes at Silver Lake. Just 5-10mins from Main Street Park City. We had a rental car but the bus service is so easy and also close to the condo. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. Rooms were big and the two bathrooms were perfect for our family of four. The view was breath taking and could watch the skiers from the deck. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

Adding another 5-star review for this property! The location just a few minutes from the slopes was great. Lots of thoughtful touches like available humidifiers and a gift bag at check in. We cooked dinner every night, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids loved taking dips in the communal pool and hot tub amidst all of the snow drifts. There is an elevator to the 4th floor, but the units are on slightly different levels, so there are a total of about 20 steps up to the condo from the elevator. This wasn't an issue for us, but wanted to make others aware in case this would be an issue for someone in your group.

My family enjoyed staying here. It's in a nice location in Park City and felt convenient for driving to Main Street and restaurants. It was well stocked with everything we needed and so nice to have a private hot tub. Our only complaints: the bed was a bit firm for our liking and the parking spots are really tight. This wasn't a problem in summer since the garage isn't full, but I could imagine it being a bit of a pain in winter.

Our family had a great stay. The condo is well stocked and was perfect for our family of 5. It is a short walk to the slope and the slope side ski valet made it even easier. It is an end unit which allows great ski slope views and lots of natural light. Small private hot tub with view of slopes. we would definitely book again.

Fabulous property! The unit is great and as pictures. My son and I stayed for the weekend traveling back and forth to Heber City. Communication with owners / managers was great. Easy check in and check out. Will look to stay at this same property next time in this area for sure.

We had a great experience with this rental. We didn’t expect the views would be as good – you can see the ski slopes from the rooms and patio. We skied at Deer Valley - the silver lake lodge base area was an easy walk. The rental was well stocked with all those little things you don’t remember to pack, esp in the kitchen. Although luggage carts are available you have to go up three sets of stairs between the elevator and door so expect some manual gear hauling.
