Located in Gatlinburg, this lovely condo for $135 per night is a great choice for your next break. Location, Location, cascading creek and view of mountain. Condo is located on the end of building and features a large wrap around balcony (9' X 25') . Enjoy your breakfast on the balcony with your view of the mountain and sounds of the creek. Large condo (1,400 sq.ft. plus) will give you the feeling of home. Large kitchen with breakfast nook and view. Granite counter tops, lots of cherry cabinets and smooth top cooking stove. If you decide to eat in, there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy cooking in this kitchen. Dining area has table for 4, kitchen counter bar seats 2 and breakfast nook table seats 4. Living room has leather love seat and sofa which makes a bed. New 42' LCD TV and DVD. Beautiful wetbar with mirror background. Enjoy the cool evenings by the cozy gas fireplace. Both bedrooms have king beds. Master bath has a Jacuzzi. Open the windows in the master bedroom and fall asleep to the sounds of the creek. Free Wi-Fi. Free Local & LD calls. Location Our condo is located on highway 321 a little less than a mile from main street Gatlinburg. This highway has the only grocery store in Gatlinburg on it, as well as McDonald's, Subway, several restaurants, several pizza places and 2 pancake houses. Whether you eat out or in, everyone needs to run to the grocery store occasionally and this is very convenient to have the grocery store 1.5 miles from the condo on hwy 321. When coming into Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge, you will turn at traffic light # 3 which is highway 321. Go a little less than a mile and the Gatehouse is on the right. Reasons to choose 601 Location, Cascading creek, Mountain View, Large condo, (1400 sq ft. plus), large balcony, very spacious kitchen, large bedrooms, Jacuzzi tub in master bath, king size beds in both bedrooms. TV's in both bedrooms and living room, DVD in living room. TV in living room is 42'. Free Wi-Fi. Free Local and Long Distance calling with in US. Washer & Dryer in the condo. Outside Pool. Luggage carts and elevator to make it easy to carry your luggage to the condo. Convenience of grocery store only a short distance. Nice 4 lane road leading to condo, no narrow curvy roads to travel. This location was perfect for us. There were 4 adults and 2 teenagers in our group. This condo had plenty of space and we didn’t feel crowded. We had an event to attend at the convention center this past weekend, so this was a perfect location. I will definitely book again if it’s available next time. The owners were real easy to communicate with during the booking process.

We had such a great time. The balcony was beautiful, the entire condo is insanely pretty. Martha (the host) is such a nice lady and communicates so well. Instructions are super clear and easy to find and SO CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. It was so great. The view is amazing too. Definitely recommend staying here to anybody coming to visit. We will be back.

I’ll start by saying it was very clean. In addition, it was very spacious and the views from the large balcony were amazing! It’s definitely a great place to stay!

Pros
1. Location. Close enough to the strip to walk, but far enough that it’s not too busy or loud. The Roaring Fork Motor Trail finishes at the condo which is nice.
2. Cleanliness. Very clean. Good work by housekeeping.
3. Checkin. Received an email with access instructions the day before. No issues. We did not reach out to the host at all during our stay.
4. Bears. Our 11 month old loved all the stuffed bears in the condo. Literally all she wanted to play with.
Cons
1. Lights at night. The front bedroom needs blackout curtains on all windows. The outdoor walkway light and front door light are essentially spotlights shining into the room. We brought our own suction cup blackout sheets after seeing another review, but the light was still so bright shining through any gaps.
2. Child safety. Although children are allowed in the condo, a few items could use attention to make the condo safer for littles. An item of concern included the dresser in the second bedroom. The floor or carpet padding angles the dresser several inches forward. If a child were to pull on down on the drawers it would easily fall, and it’s a heavy dresser. Consideration should be given to install an anchor. Cleaning products were accessible under the sink. We moved these to the closet during our stay.
3. Parking. Due to concrete pillar, right rear passenger can’t exit. Full size truck hard to park if another car is parked in adjacent spot. Guest parking pass for main lot was also provided.

The condo is gorgeous and so clean and comfortable. We loved the wraparound porch. We saw two bears from the parking garage, an adult one passed by on the other side of the garage fence as we were coming back from dinner our first night. The next morning, as we were getting into our car, a young bear ran down the hill and through the river to the other side. We saw 5 more between the park and the the Roaring Forks Motor Trail.

Property listed looked exactly like the pictures. Condo was easy to get to and loved being able to park in the garage underneath. Check in was super easy and the owners were fast and courteous when I asked questions or needed assistance. This was our first trip to Tennessee and it did not disappoint and will definitely come back and would even stay in this condo again. What’s the short distance to the downtown area which we loved. As a family of five we appreciated the washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen and everything the condo offered. Loved the balcony and the creek directly underneath of us, and listening to it in the evenings and morning and watching families play in it. The area was also nice that we were able to take morning/evening walks which we enjoyed while the girls are still sleeping would definitely recommend this condo!

The condo was very nice. It was clean and was perfect for two couples. We enjoyed playing cards out on the balcony. Only suggestion would be for blackout curtains in the extra bedroom. The light from the stairwell made the bedroom not very dark.

The condo was fantastic! My mom, 16yr old daughter and myself loved it! Had everything we needed and was super clean! The balcony was our favorite spot to enjoy the mountains and the sound of the creek! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Mrs. Martha is the best! Communicating with her was a breeze. She answered any questions beforehand. Got us our check-in information a week in advance. Gave us hints for getting around some of the traffic. As far as the condo goes, the pictures did not lie. Fell asleep nightly to the sound of the creek down below (but not so loud it kept anyone up). Loved having the jet tub, washer/dryer, and the huge kitchen with the bar, dining table, as well as breakfast nook in case you had a large group with you. Beds were so comfy! Having the covered parking was a definite bonus. Kids love having access to the creek as well. Only a few blocks from the main stretch in Gatlinburg. Could walk to Ole Red's in maybe ten minutes if you wanted. A great donut shop a block away. A grocery store less than a two-minute drive. I would gladly stay here again. No doubt! The condo was amazing. Very beautifully set up. The location was great and we were able to walk or catch the trolleys to get around. The only 2 minor cons are the guest bedroom lighting was extremely dim and the bed was way too firm for our liking. We used extra blankets to try to get somewhat comfortable while we slept. Other than that we loved the place and would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay. Saw black bears from the balcony, just a beautiful view also. It was located exactly in the right place in town! The owner was very quick to respond when I had a question. Definitely would stay at The Gatehouse again!
