This condo is located on the quiet north end of Seven Mile Beach. You are steps from the beach and the clear blue water of the Caribbean. Swim or snorkel right outside your condo. Relax on the uncrowded sandy beach, soaking up the sun or in the shade of a thatched hut. There is a beachfront swimming pool and hot tub for your enjoyment.
Recently resurfaced pickleball courts and tennis courts are available for guests.
When you are finished using the beach, you will enjoy the comforts of home. The condo has been renovated with all of the amenities, with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen. There is new 65" 4K smart TV in the living area and wide screen TVs in both bedrooms , DVD player in the living area. Also included in the unit, is free Wi-Fi, a large DVD library (over 100 titles) and sand toys. Local calls as well as calls to the US and Canada can be made free of charge from the unit. For your convenience, there is a washer/dryer in the unit.
Being on the third floor allows you to have a spectacular view of the ocean. Nothing is more romantic than watching the sunset from your lanai.
The bathrooms in the condo have been completely renovated. We have installed new floating vanities, floor to ceiling Spanish tile, new showers and new modern Kohler fixtures. We have also replaced the floor in the entire condo with tile, also imported from Spain that incorporates the newest technology -- non-slip when wet but smooth when dry. The bedroom furniture has been replaced this year with new bedding and spacious storage.
Daily maid service is provided except for Sundays and holidays. Towels and linens are provided. The on-site management is the best on the island. They will help you with all of your needs.
All water sports are available nearby. Many excellent restaurants are a short drive away. A modern supermarket and a liquor store are a little more than 1/2 mile away.
Please note that the northern part of Seven Mile Beach, where the Discovery Point Club is located, has NOT suffered beach erosion as the southern part of Seven Mile Beach.

Beautiful location. Condo was nice and clean. Maids service. There was everything you could want or need in the condominium. Easy access to restaurants and grocery .

Very comfortable condo- amazing ocean viewsIncredible snorkeling right from the beach-Beach chairs and shade are greatDaily house keeping is a bonus-We would definitely rent here againHaving a car is helpful- store and several restaurants a short drive away 7 mile beach is less than. 10 min away-Book it!! We had a wonderful week here!(2 small things for the owners to consider- darker shades in the king room- sun is up early here and full mattress in the guest room is super firm)

We have been to the Caymans several times and this trip we "upgraded" to Discovery Point from a less expensive condo complex where we usually stay (Harbour Heights). While we agree with the other reviews that the condo is very clean and well equipped and the owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with, there were several disappointments. There is a great view from the living area but the bedrooms are cave like with windows that face the wall of the next unit or the parking lot so we kept the blinds closed. The beach in front of the unit is rocky and we spent all our time walking down to the next complex to get in and out of the water without rocks. Sometimes we just wanted to lie on the beach chairs and be able to see our teens in the water but this wasn't possible because they were always down the beach out of eyesight. Secondly we like to play tennis every morning to get some exercise and although the complex has tennis courts, they are barely playable. They were full of sand which made them slippery, old furniture is stored on the courts and the nets are literally falling apart. Our biggest disappointment however was the onsite condo staff. We visited during Christmas week and the overarching feeling we got from the staff the few times we asked for anything was that this was their break and we shouldn't expect much. For example, the complex provides beach towels but on several days there were no clean towels available. The staff in the laundry just shrugged their shoulders and shot us dirty looks. When we called Miss Ollie on Dec 24th (knowing we wouldn't get towels on the 25th) she was off site at a family dinner (again) but told us we should just "do her a favor and wash our own towels". We have lived in several countries and sensitive to cultures and were very polite but they just didn't care if our vacation was going well or not - they seemed tired, angry and overworked. They didn't show up one day to clean so we called the office at 5pm to ask for clean, dry bath towels. Our cleaning person finally arrived and told us how busy she was and had to get home and cook etc so we were supposed to feel bad for expecting her to clean. The next day they were off for Christmas and on the following day they only took the garbage. We don't begrudge anyone their vacation time but we shouldn't have paid for daily cleaning when they took 3 days off. There are better condo units to stay at on Grand Cayman.
