Will open in late April and close in early October for the season each year. REMODELED KITCHEN AND OPEN FLOOR PLAN IN 2020. Added a second Stainless Steel fridge with water dispenser/ice maker, nine foot center island, new AC throughout and refreshed furnishings. Book now before we fill up! Completely remodeled all new furnishings - winter of 2017 and again fall of 2019. This is a FIVE star property! On 1/2 acre, level lake front and surrounded by a 14 acre forest. Features pool, Hot Tub, Five bedrooms, modern appliances, 4 full baths and all new furnishings, with a maximum occupancy of up to 16 guests! Three Kings Bedrooms, a bunk room (2 bunks - twin over full beds), carriage barn loft, a large dining area and a lakeside patio. The main house is all level on one floor and is almost ADA compliant. New lighting was installed in the ceilings throughout the property to create a bright, open atmosphere. Ceiling fans have been installed in the dining area, loft and 3 of the bedrooms for those nights when you do not wish to run the A/C. Home and barn have A/C throughout. Details: With all of the amenities and comforts of home, plus the fun of a gorgeous, 100% level lakefront property, you and your guests will be ready to create memories together from the moment you step inside! Enter into the foyer with the living room to your right, and you'll see exactly why this is the place for you: a lovely, warm space with plush seating and extra ambiance created by a large stone fireplace. Around the corner, you'll be greeted by the open kitchen/dining room, brand new and fully-furnished with modern appliances and plenty of storage, and a full dining set that seats 10 guests. Step outside and find the other half of the great appeal of this home: a massive, semi private, wooded lot located directly on the lake. Just across the yard is your private stretch of natural stone wall lakefront, with a seasonal dock that is great for fishing or sun bathing. Enjoy kayaking or rowing out to look at Squaw Island, not far from the shore, or spend a few hours fishing on the lake in the rowboat provided for guests' enjoyment. We were in the area to celebrate my sons wedding at a local venue. This property was a welcome respite from the rest of the wedding party for me, my husband, my parents and the rest of my children ages 14-24. The property is beautiful! While we had little downtime and weren’t able to take full advantage of the amenities, it was wonderful that the furniture, kitchen, bedding and towels were high quality so that we could rest and recharge!

This place was so great. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. So clean and new. Had everything you might want, and it's high quality. So many bathrooms! The wifi really held up to heavy use from probably 15-20 devices (some of us had to work). (We did have a router issue for a minute, but Alan came to the rescue in record time.) Wifi is not as good in the adorable carriage house, but the cell signal is good.
One of the kayaks isn't in great shape, so if you have your own, I would still bring those. But the dock, yard, and lawn furniture are awesome. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils, pans. There are millions of towels. Canandaigua is 3 minutes away with tons of restaurants and things to do, or you can just sit on that deck or in the sunroom and catch the breezes off the water. Very quiet neighborhood, we saw lots of deer, our little dog loved it there. We had a great time - would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was in a private location. We had direct access to the lake and beautiful views of the lake. The kayaks were used daily on the lake. The accommodations were very nice. Spacious, lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms with new showers. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped. The family room and dining room/enclosed patio were great places to gather as family. There was a large table that accommadated our whole group for meals. We enjoyed gathering in the living room on the large sectional for games and puzzles and television. We would definitely consider renting this property in the future.

This was our fourth trip to the finger lakes region and second to Canandaigua. The property was perfect and as described in the VRBO listing. Our family vacation included our 3 adult children and their wives. Provided ample room for everyone to both have their own space and to be together. We launched kayaks from the lakefront backyard, played yard games, enjoyed meals inside and outside as a family. The property was comfortable, convenient to the city for shopping and restaurants, and lakefront property was both aesthetically beautiful but also provided easy access for boating and water access. We highly recommend the property!

I can't say enough good things about this property. There were 8 of us - 4 couples. We all had plenty of private space and the gathering spaces in the house were perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Loved having two refrigerators! We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard and the views were beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife even though we were super close to restaurants and shopping. The property manager is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We have rented many lakehouses over the past few years. This one was exceptional! The location was perfecr, so close to town with amazing views! The house is on flat piece of property which makes the lake easily accessible. Every detail was well thought out. There was plenty of seating for everyone, the bathrooms and bedrooms were all very fresh and nice. The beds were very comfortable, and there was ample space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the bathrooms even had shower products. This really was a perfect weekend getaway. Maybe next time we will rent in the summer and bring our boat!!

The home has a wide expanse of lakefront and we loved the views from several bedrooms as well as the open, spacious kitchen/living area. The cool evenings were perfect for using the spa and firepit. The house was well equipped, providing everything we needed.

This home and location were outstanding. Very easy living for a family of 11 with 2 dogs! Just walked outside the house and all the splendor of the land was right there. Host was very accessible and provided great information on places to eat, boat rentals and activities.

Finally, the first time we were able to have our 3 sons, their wives and 4 grandchildren together in the same place since the start of Covid. We had a wonderful week at Alan's lakefront property. Everything we needed and close to shopping and restaurants.

Absolutely Wonderful!
The home is spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the spa was relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We all enjoyed using the kayaks. It was a short distance to downtown, Wegmans and urgent care which, thankfully, no one needed. Mr. Lupton was very responsive to our questions. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to rent on Canandaigua Lake.

This house was perfectly located at the end of the lake, close to town and the grocery store. The little cove that it was situated in offered a calm tranquil lake experience. There was a bit of seaweed to contend with but that is common for that area of the lake. The house was well stocked and allowed plenty of space for all.

Peacefulness on the lake!
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The beds were comfortable, the towels soft and fluffy, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. The recently remodeled “barn” is adorable. The view here is absolutely breathtaking! You will love taking in the sunset with a glass of wine in hand, or watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee. The patio and fire pit offer great space to share a meal. This home is close to local restaurants, wineries and the grocery store. It’s on a private lane so you feel tucked away yet near anything you may need. We definitely plan to return. The property manager was a great communicator and provided all the info we needed to have a great stay.

Walked to town several times (one of the roads that you need to walk on to get to town is fairly busy and has sidewalk only part of it- so may not be good for little ones)

As a con (for us), the beds were very firm and the showers were stalls as opposed to tubs (since we have little kiddos to bathe that would have been nice). Overall, a beautiful and lovely home.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing property. This was our second time staying here. The renovations that were done are beautiful and make the house the perfect place for a family gathering. The location is also perfect - Right on the water and close to shopping and other amenities. It was so nice to have a hot tub overlooking the lake and the new carriage house is adorable - just perfect for a small family. In addition, the owner supplied the house with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My dogs particularly liked barking at the deer and the ducks! This is definitely my go-to place!!!!

Perfect location for a relaxing vacation
Beautiful, peaceful location with quick access by car to town and nearby hiking trails. Well-lit, warm, welcoming decor, well-apportioned kitchen, comfortable beds, and enough space for the 8 of us to spread out. Our teens took over the carriage house in the evenings. The hot tub was a highlight, as were the morning sunrises over the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. The property was even nicer than the listing suggested with huge bedrooms. The carriage house was beautiful too. Owner extremely responsive to our requests for extra life jacket and TV remote instructions. Very well stocked. Highly recommend!
