This is the first time I have stayed in a VRBO that was nicer than the pictures/description. The kitchen was oversized and very well appointed. All bathrooms were huge given the age of the home. We walked to the park and town several times with ease.

Tandem House had all the amenities, a comforting gathering zone both indoors and outside, a lovely garden to feel zen in, central and close to everything. The bikes were an extra slice of fun for exploring the cute town of Walla Walla when not hanging out at the wineries. The host was responsive and helpful as well! Would definitely return.

It easily seated 6 for dinner, plenty off off street parking, big, roomy well equipped kitchen, at least one bathroom on each floor, great laundry facilities, nice sitting area outside, plenty of bike storage by the back door, two nice places to sit and talk. It really worked out well for us for a cycling/wine tasting trip.

The Tandem House was lovely and a great choice for our family group. We enjoyed the spacious layout of the kitchen and common areas on the first floor as well as the nicely done bedrooms on the second floor. Fun bike decor in each room. Also nice to be so close to the park, great location!

We absolutely loved this house and location! It was the perfect spot for our weekend wine tour. While we primarily came for the vineyards, we enjoyed early morning walks around Pioneer Park and the beautiful aviary, and enjoyed relaxing in the comfort of your home!! Couldn't have asked for anything better!

The house was amazing with a well stocked kitchen. The central location and proximity to pioneer park made wine tasting, pickleball, and birdwatching a breeze.

We absolutely loved this house and location! It was the perfect spot for our weekend wine tour. Worth every penny!
Had a super stay at the Tandom House. Very spacious and clean. Great location close to downtown, but on a very quiet street. Everything was exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

No-Tandem house
Nice home with lots of space. Clearly effort put in to updating. However, we encountered a few problems worth noting. We rent vacation homes frequently, and have stayed in others in Walla Walla. The appeal of this one was the cruiser bikes and tandem (thus the rental's name - "Tandem House") so we could get around town and over to campus without the car and not have the hassle of renting/returning. Upon arrival, we eagerly went in search of the bikes, only to find them in the garage behind a lot of other storage - essentially inaccessible. Perhaps winter storage. In the house, noted a sign on the dishwasher saying "sorry, not working". This was our welcome. I reached out to the owners, who did respond quickly, apologizing, saying the dishwasher did work (ps - it did) and that they would pay for us to rent bikes. The rental offer was a nice gesture but time/hassle factor too high. Later that evening when we were winding down, we tried to work the TV but had not been left a passcode. Texted owners and received it relatively quickly. Went to bed thinking this rental was my first ever VRBO disappointment. I gave it a 3 because these a such ea

We really enjoyed our time at Tandem house. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was spacious and well appointed. We loved that we were 5 minutes from everywhere including some of the estate wineries!

Wonderful house with a nice big kitchen!
I loved the neighborhood and the house. The updates to the kitchen and baths are so appreciated. We were there to work but one of our little group took advantage the the available bikes.
I would have loved to have found a case, I like having flowers when staying away, and the kitchen knives were really junk. One of the reasons we get a house when working out of town is to be able to make our own breakfasts and lunches, so decent kitchen implements are important.
I would definitely like to rent this house again, but will bring my own knives and my Keurig!

Wonderful getaway!
Tandem House is a wonderful home away. The location is great and we enjoyed walking to town and playing at the parks close to the house with the kids. We enjoyed visiting local wineries and eating at some local favorites. Look forward to a return visit!

This is house was perfect for 3 couples for a weekend of wine tasting and golf. It looks to be recently redone inside and was very clean. Nice open design downstairs is perfect for a larger group to cook or socialize. The owners report having a recent theft from the garage (including a couple of the tandem bikes it seems) so they do have a security camera mounted there. Very nice neighborhood however and close to town.

Well stocked ,clean and overall just great vibes! The house is located in great spot to explore wineries, college and downtown. Loved being close to pioneer park and biking with kids was amazing! Julie was a delight to coordinate with and loved the great recommendations.

Tandem House is wonderful
This was my second stay at the Tandem House in Walla Walla. And it will be my choice when I return as well. The location and the property are quaint, beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to everything. If you like to cook the Kitchen is perfect for in home meals and drinking fabulous Walla Walla Wine. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is maintained beautifully.

Better than pictured!
Julie was the perfect hostess and offered us plenty of local recommendations in advance of our trip. The kitchen is phenomenal, and even though we planed to eat dinners out each night we decided to try to make use of it and actually stayed in! All beds were super comfy and there was so much space to enjoy. The neighborhood is quaint and very close to downtown. We all agreed we'd stay here again in a heartbeat on the next trip. The only bummer is we didn't even have time to take the bikes for a little jaunt!

Great place for a getaway
We had 6 women stay at this house for 3 nights and it was perfect. The large open kitchen and dining room made it easy to cook and visit with everyone at the same time. The TV room was great for watching movies after a long day of sightseeing and wine tasting. There's a great park a half block away with a nice bike/walk path. My sister and I rode the tandem bike through the park which, by the way, isn't as easy as it looks. Especially for a 60 year old who hasn't ridden in a while. The owner, Julie, was very accommodating. We had to change the date of our stay and then ended up adding one more night and she was very gracious about it all. I recommend this property and would definitely stay again. I wouldn't recommend the house for anyone with mobility issues as all the bedrooms are upstairs. Other than that, the house is great!!

A True Gem!
3 couples spent a 3 day weekend at the house and we were all very pleased with the location, updated interior, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our adventure around Walla Walla, using several suggestions from the owner, and found returning to the house to enjoy meals together, play games, and hang out...terrific. I would add one more chair to the living room so all six people can sit and put their feet up...but other than that we were delighted with our stay in this home with such character. Don't miss a walk to the park and check out the aviary!

Great place to stay
When the 6 of us get together it's always a fun time. Being together in the Tandem House for three full days was almost magical. We had a great time cooking in that amazing kitchen! Even just sitting at the table drinking wine and laughing was special. And we loved discovering the game, Shut the Box.
The house is well appointed, and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed an evening in the back yard on very comfortable patio furniture. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a place on a quiet street, but in a great location.
