Gorgeous 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo in Mountain Lodge with beautiful mountain and lake views from both the living and master bedroom areas. Hardwood and ceramic tile flooring throughout with custom wood trim details everywhere you look! This unit is perfect for families! The main bedroom faces the mountains and features a roomy KING sized bed (brand new as of Oct. 2022), full dresser, nightstands, flat screen tv and full bathroom. The second bedroom includes two twin beds with wall mounted flat screen DirecTV and closet with plenty of room for your gear and en-suite full bathroom. You will love to prep your own meals in the beautifully appointed kitchen with stainless appliances, coffee maker, toaster, blender and toaster oven. The living room has a wall mounted flat screen with DVD player and queen sized pull out sofa bed. Complimentary Wi-Fi. This is truly one of the nicest 2-bedroom units in Mountain Lodge! - Dedicated high-speed Internet inside the condo (City Net) - DISH Network HD TV Channels including HBO and Cinemax - Please note that there is an entrance fee to use Split Rock Pools. - PETS AND SMOKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. NOTE: The exterior siding of Mountain Lodge was removed/replaced during the Summer/Fall of 2020. New balconies are currently being installed (Summer/Fall 2022), however the side that this unit is on will not receive a new balcony until Spring 2023. Coin operated laundry facilities are located down the hall near the elevators. Large lobby with comfortable sofas and tables for games surrounding wood-burning fire place. Video game (arcade) room. This is a privately-owned unit. The owner will not be present. Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia is the premier ski resort in the Mid-Atlantic region with a whopping elevation of 4,848 feet. Typically, Snowshoe receives an average of 180 inches of natural snowfall each year. Snowshoe features 57 trails within 3 different ski areas: The Basin, The Western Territory and Silver Creek with 100% snowmaking capabilities in each area. The Western Territory boasts expert only terrain with a 1,500 foot vertical drop and the longest trail on the mountain, 1.5 miles. Silver Creek is popular for its night skiing, terrain park features and the Coca-Cola tubing park. A free shuttle service is provided to get you from one area to another. If you are not a skier or rider, there are still plenty of wintertime activities for the whole family. Snowshoe Mountain offers Polaris RZR and Snowmobile tours, as well as SnowCat tours where you can learn more about the art of grooming. Plus, there are a variety of shops and restaurants in the village and around the mountain. If you are looking for some relaxation and pampering, you may want to visit the Spa at Snowshoe. In the summertime, Snowshoe continues its vibrancy with festivals, such as Blues, Brews and BBQs, Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook-Off, The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) off-road ATV and motorcycle racing series, FreeFall Festival and other various wine and jazz events. If you are one for lots of activity, Snowshoe offers rugged Segway tours, hiking, downhill mountain biking (you can even put your bike on the lift and get a ride to the top), kayaking, canoeing, fishing at Shavers Lake and golf at the Raven Golf Course. Motorcyclists flock to the mountain to enjoy all of the curvy mountainous and scenic roads in the area. If you are looking to hop aboard a historic steam train, Cass Railroad is the place to go. The station is just 10 miles away. For a longer day trip, head to Seneca Rocks for some amazing rock climbing and cliff views. More details on Snowshoe’s winter and summer events and activities can be found on their website, it is definitely worth a visit! Free local shuttle - Village to Silver Creek loop (winter only). Guest will be required to electronically sign a standard rental agreement with Mountaintop Condos - prior to check-in. An example rental agreement can be provided upon request. Federal holiday weekends (MLK and President's) require a 3 night minimum with Friday check in only! No pets. No smoking. No bikes inside condos.

The location of this condo is great. It's a short walk through the lodge to get out to the top of the lift. The unit is located by the play area (think a larger McDonalds play unit) and the front bedroom with twins is right next to the hall so there were times my kids complained about loud children playing in there, but it is supposed to be empty after 730pm. So you could call the front desk if it was a big issue. We stayed mid-week and the lodge is fairly quiet. I imagine it's quite different on the weekends. The unit itself has been updated for the most part but the flooring shifted like it wasn't installed properly so there are fairly large gaps in some areas of the main living space. I stubbed my toe, which is about the worst that can happen. The ceiling fan in the master was bent at the craziest angle like someone had hung from it so that wasn't useful which is a bummer because the unit does get pretty warm but nothing unbearable and we knew the temperature stuff before checking in. The kids fan was really loud so they didn't use it either. The only thing I'd change, other than fixing the floor and fans, is the shower head in the master seems original to the unit and has terrible pressure. We'd consider staying here again based on location and the unit was an expected level of worn, ski places get a lot of hard use. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was the best. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. For the price it was a great value.

It is in a great location. Kitchen is well equipped and has a decent size of living space for our family of 5. The only drawback is that the playground is right outside and can be noisy sometimes.

Check-in was supposed to be at 5pm (already a later check-in than most places) and we weren’t allowed to enter the unit until 7:30!
WiFi for unit was VERY weak- we could only get coverage from the twin room, streaming movies was not possible
Overall, this property ticked most of our boxes and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed a weekend in late Oct here. The mountain was pretty much closed (was informed before arriving by property owner) but still had a great time. Sightsee'd and only came back here to rest for the night. The place was quaint and cozy. Didn't have any neighbors that we heard, all our expectations were met. Great experience

If you arrive during the off season, it is nice and quite. A lot of shops are not open except for the weekend. Leaving it nice and quite. If you’re not a skier or biker enjoying the scenery is the thing to do. We went to ride the nearest thing. The Cass Railroad. Get your tickets early as they do sell out. We missed the train. The room and the surroundings were great.

We did not get to go. I tried unsuccessfully to change the dates. The property manager, not the owner, said it was to late to do so. It was Two days before check in. Since we did not go, we had to forfeit what we had paid. Since we did not stay there, I asked the property manager if we could at least get the cleaning fee refunded. Crickets.
If I see a listing by this company again, I will definitely not book with them.

Overall this was a fantastic place and we had a great stay! A few improvements thats could be made: The pullout couch is uncomfortable compared to others Ive slept on. The cleaning staff forgot a few items that we had to ask for at the front desk.
Other than that the kitchen space is great and we loved our stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable condo in Mountain Lodge. It was right on the mountain so accessing the UCI World Cup DH venue very easy. We were also in the heart of the XC venue so great spectating. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was equipped with most everything you would need.

GNCC Race
My son was racing his first year at GNCC. We were told we would not be able to get our camper close enough to the race so we rented a condo. It was a little dated, the air was not plugged in when we got there so it took forever to cool off. Overall, it was nicer than some other units!!!!

First time to Snowshoe Bike Park. Location was perfect! The condo was clean & stocked. We stopped off at the IGA on the way in and cooked most of our meals at “home”. The lodge has “bike” lockers. Laundry was on the same floor and easy to use. All shops within walking distance.

Overall the space is fully equipped and in a very nice location, we loved it, the overall hotel wasn’t that nice but the cabin itself was perfect, the only concern was the A/C, it was not working and there were times where the room reached up to 85 degrees even though the weather outside wasn’t that hot.

Great location - amazing hidden gem
Snowshoe Mountain is truly a hidden gem. We visited over President's Day weekend, so it was busy. This facility is currently undergoing some remodeling, which is needed, but it didn't impact our stay at all. The view in this particular room is amazing. Once the balcony is replaced, it will be spectacular for sure. Truly, no complaints. Check-in was easy. The complex is secured by a gate and guard. Check-out was also smooth. I wish we had stayed a bit longer honestly. We will be back.

The building itself is dated but with the ski gear lockers located right at the exit to the slopes, you can't get much more convenience. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for a third time.

The building itself is dated but with the ski gear lockers located right at the exit to the slopes, you can't get much more convenience. Great Location for Ski Getaway
We enjoyed our quick stay at this property. It was a good location, not too far from the elevator or steps to the parking lot. There were 3 adults and we enjoyed the layout. The view of the ski slope and the mountain top was beautiful, especially for sunrises.
Hope to stay again next year.

(Key West was #1) Just because there wasnt snow didnt stop Snowshoe from keeping entertainment on the mountain. We spent two weeks there, some days we just hung out in the condo and the mountain shops. We spent some days in Cass (such a neat place!) and Green Bank and many other wonderful places. I highly recommend the condo and the area of WV.

We had a great time during our stay! The staff at mountain lodge were very friendly and always helpful in answering questions. The room itself could’ve been cleaned a little better, but was otherwise exactly as described. The owner was also very kind in responding to our concerns.

Great time staying at mountaintop lodge. They are doing everything they can to follow COVID-19 protocols and we felt safe while staying at this property. The unit had everything we needed except it would have been helpful to have a broom or something to keep the floor clean. Look forward to coming back and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location ski in-ski out condo
The location of this condo was perfect! Located at Ballhooter lift, this was exactly the location we were looking for. The village with restaurants and shops is steps away and you can walk or take shuttle to other locations. Condo was exactly as described. However, we were disappointed with housekeeping. I found dirty dishes in the cabinet and in oven. Dish soap wasn't provided so I had to purchase in order to clean the kitchen. Also condo was extremely hot in kids room because it has no ventilation. I would recommend figuring out way to get air flow to that bedroom. I would rate this particular unit 4-1/2 star as overall we had a great stay due to the condo's perfect location to the mountain and snow conditions were perfect during our stay.

Construction/Heat/Dated
Lots of construction all around. No balcony and all window trim removed. Furniture dated throughout and mattress in master and pillows were dated and not comfortable. Only 4 regular knives. No washer/dryer in this unit. We had heat off and windows open and still too hot to sleep. Lady at check-in desk was extremely rude and acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there. Location is incredible as are the views.
