The cottage is a jewel of a house. Beautiful surroundings, elegant decoration and furniture, and a private patio where you can rest, have your breakfast or a glass of wine at night, meditate or simply relax! Guests will enjoy full access of the house. Two bedroom, living room, a front sitting room, fully equiped kitchen, patio with a deck, laundry, and a parking space with driveway. Entertain yourself with great movies in Netflix, bring your favorite DVD and play them in the home theater available. Cozy Corner is located in a quiet street with not much through traffic. The street has old renovated bungalows and shady trees. Take a brief stroll to downtown while enjoying the nice neighborhood. In no time you´ll be in the heart of the town. You can walk to downtown, or just stroll around the historic district where the cottage is located. You´ll feel relaxed and frankly, will wonder if you can stay here forever.

Isabel is an excellent host who has anticipated anything a renter might need. Her attention to detail as well as the care and love that went into furnishing her “cozy cottage” make this an exceptional place to stay. We loved the recliners on the enclosed porch, comfy beds and living room furniture, and especially the lovely, private garden oasis in her yard. Another highlight was two full bathrooms with standard size fixtures, unlike other cottage we’ve rented in Mt Dora.

We went to enjoy the beginning of Christmas season in Mount Dora. The location of the Cozy Corner was perfect for walking to the downtown area and watching the Christmas parade.

MANY fixes needed. Could not use 2nd bath first night. Oven/Stove did not work. Back door impossible to open. 1/4 load of laundry flooded garage. Coffee Pot was broken. Grill literally falling apart/rusted out. TV Issues, outdated information on how to use. Smoke alarm going off. Slept on rocks that roll to center. Dog next door barked day and night. Texted, called & left vm messages, No Response. COMMUNICATION was terrible. Host finally responded 24 hours later After we went through the VRBO site. Asked questions - never got answers to. Few things fixed but not stove/oven. Asked host to split restaurant bill (200), she refunded 50. So much more, too numerous to list - Will not stay here again.

What a great place and perfectly located to historic Mt Dora! Truly just a few walking minutes to stores and eateries. The house is so cute, beautifully decorated and has an outdoor patio that is relaxing! We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Our stay was great. The location is good although we drove the 2 blocks into town and easily parked. We visited our favorite spots for eating, drinking and shopping. Convenient location, easy check-in, and use of the cottage. We were able to cook a few meals. The kitchen was stocked well. The neighborhood was quiet. We would return.

I brought my daughter in celebration of her birthday. We had a wonderful time! She loves this home as much as I do. It is clean, comfortable, gives a sense of being home and the location is perfect. The outside patio is darling. The owner, Isabel, is so accomadating. All the way around, this is an excellent place to stay! We will be back. Cindy

We spent Feb & March at this cozy little cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as listed and was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the back patio. When we needed to contact the owners they were responsive and helpful. Mt. Dora is a very walkable town and the cottage location is perfect; not too close and not to far away from the historic downtown and the parks. We look forward to another stay in the future.

This was the perfect location, just a few blocks from downtown. My friend and I stayed with our 3 and 4 year old sons and the location and property were perfect. The boys could run around in the back yard while we relaxed and it was close enough to walk to and from downtown throughout the day. Isabel was great and gave us suggestions of Mount Dora's weekend events that the boys might like. Highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage was perfect for my best friend and I for our first weekend trip to Mt. Dora. It is in a great location super close to historic downtown. Definitely in walking distance if the weather cooperates.

Our stay at Cozy Cottage was quite comfortable. Had it not been for the heat, we could have walked into town. Good location and safe neighborhood. The beds were comfy and kitchen stocked with all we needed. We’ll be back when it’s not so hot.

Isabel is a very responsive and kind host and the cottage was quite comfortable for our 4 night stay. She'd thought of nearly every detail and we didn't lack for anything. The area is very quiet and safe. We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go in Mount Dora.
