Fishing and crabbing from the middle to the end of our dock ... swimming for the kids in 2-3 feet of water (on a sandbar that goes about a third of the way out the length of the pier - at the end of the pier the depth is about 7-8 feet of water) and kayaking (2 kayaks - LL Bean Ocean Kayak Malibu Two Package and an LL Bean Single person kayak) on the river which is as wide as a lake and feeds into the Chesapeake Bay about a mile or two up.
