Rock Haus is a meticulously restored Historic limestone cottage in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Reserve now to secure one of Eureka Spring's most memorable vacation homes...the iconic Rock Haus Eureka. Rock Haus -delightfully reminiscent of a European cottage- is built from Ozark native limestone. Experience timeless comfort in a true home. We know, it's where we raised our family! We have thoroughly restored our rock house - artfully preserving the original character while adding modern conveniences for enjoyable country living, yet incredibly close to town. So close that the city limits is 1/4 mile ... halfway down Oil Springs Rd. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes away are Beaver Lake and the White Rivers to the west, Table Rock Lake at Holiday Island to the north, and the Kings River to the east. Rock Haus is conveniently located on 25 private acres, 1/2 mile to Hwy 62. For a little eco-tourism closer to home, a quarter mile laid-back walk (or drive) along our seasonal rocky-bottom clear water creek will lead you to Black Bass Lake Park. It features a 13 acre spring-fed lake on 60+ acres and a 2.5 mile hiking trail. If shopping, dining, and entertainment are important to you as well, you're in luck. Rock Haus is only 2 miles, 4 minutes to the heart of historic downtown Eureka Springs. Spent Christmas with my teenage grandchildren in this home. While the home is spacious, the main floor felt cozy and inviting. The secluded property allowed us to enjoy the tourist areas and return to the quiet home environment we needed.

All of the above. We got in late because of a broken pipe at home. When we arrived we spent so much time ohhing and ahhing we didn't get to sleep very early. The beds were comfortable. I've never seen so many quilts in one house. Decorated so pretty for Christmas. Coming back this Spring if she has an opening.

The cottage was the perfect place for a girls weekend. The home is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and hiking in a peaceful setting that felt away from it all. The attention to detail for creating an amazing stay was noticeable including fresh flowers and music playing upon arrival to quality linens and towels and a well appointed kitchen. The care and attention to the outdoor area and flowers further contributed to making Rock Haus the perfect place for relaxation.

The property and it's location were so peaceful and serene it defys explanation. Everything was so nice and the AC was so cold and refreshing. The unit has a split system, which allowed my wife a continued cool snooze while I prepared breakfast down stairs in a slightly warmer environ. It really is the small details that Suzanne provides that make the difference. This was HOME for us for the week. And when you arrive home after dark to a family of white tail deer bedded down under the big pine out front where you are supposed to park was an experience we will always cherish. Coming back is a no brainer for us. We've found our Eureka Springs vacation home. Now if Suzanne were to sell I definitely will be in the line to make a bid!

I wish there were more stars to rate this stay! My wife and I absolutely loved this home! Probably the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable. We love that it was so secluded and quiet, but yet only a few short minutes to town. Communication with the owner was fantastic as well.

This is our favorite rental over our many years. This is the first time I actually had great skillets, knives, and kitchen tools to work with. The beds were comfortable, the decor had fun and whimsical surprises around every corner. The setting with the little creek was amazing. We were in heaven, and it was great being able to communicate with the owner at any time.

We arrived to a family of deer greeting us to the property. And the storybook experience continued in the fairytale-esque home that was beautifully appointed. All of our needs and wants were anticipated and met from the expansive quilt selection, stocked cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. The land around the property allowed for hours of exploring and sledding as we arrived during the winter vortex. We truly enjoyed the house, acreage, and the entire town of Eureka Springs.

Loved our week at this perfect getaway. We were there the last week of October and the trees and surrounding property made for a gorgeous autumn vacation. The house is charming, and even though it’s on acreage, it is close to Eureka Springs’ amenities. Getting luggage up the stone steps was a bit difficult for single, senior women.

This has to be the most well-loved home I've ever had with VRBO. We traveled during the day, and it was a delight to come back home to. We loved-loved everything about the Rock-Haus , From the paint texture on the kitchen walls to the collection of quilts was just amazing! Great location to Eureka, although the limerock road to the Rock Haus was challenging at times. That would be the only 4 star I would give this charming home!!

Rock Haus is a beautiful house and property! We loved the cottage feel of the house and outdoor seating areas. You get peace and quiet while still being right on the edge of town. Suzanne is a wonderful host. We would definitely recommend Rock Haus!

AMAZING, RELAXING, BEAUTIFUL!
We actually never wanted to leave the property. It was so relaxing. Coffee outside in the morning and drinks in the evening. Couldn't get enough of the views. And wildlife! Birds chirping and then saw a deer and groundhog in the evening. Suzanne has done an amazing job, both inside and outside. It was "home" for a week. I even pretended it was mine and did a walkabout each morning and evening and even watered the plants! So therapeutic! Everything inside was so charming! Thank you Suzanne for opening your former home for us. I hope we can stay again soon.

Suzanne, the host, was fabulous. The house was filled with fresh flowers upon our arrival and was absolutely spotless. The grounds were perfectly manicured. The house itself is beyond charming. The peace of the place is hard to describe but it was the first vacation I have had where I did not want to leave the property. I simply cannot recommend Rock Haus high enough. Stunning property. Superb host. Privacy yet close to downtown Eureka Springs. Would give more stars if I could.

This was a beautiful property! Staying here, we got the best of "both worlds": quiet retreat and plenty of options for other activities nearby along with good restaurant choices. Suzanne was a very welcoming host. We loved our stay!
