About this cottage rental

Nestled in Osage Beach, this lovely cottage for $220 per night is a great option for your next break. This is the year that we are remolding the Kozy Kottage.. Updates were needed and are hoping to have the cottage available for the middle of summer vacation season. The pictures will be different than what’s on the listing. It will be 2 bedrooms, King bed in one room and Queen in the other. Looking forward to the updates and will provide pictures when available! Come and experience a relaxing vacation at a wonderful little lakeside “Kozy Kottage” situated just 25 feet from the water. Our guests will have access to a private dock in a quiet cove. You will enjoy an entire right side of the dock, lounging chairs, a patio table. There is an available lift for a single PWC, other watercraft can be tied to the side of the dock during your stay. The water toys include a slide, diving board, paddle boat, canoe and a large watermat. Several life jackets will also be provided. It’s the most conveniently located vacation rental at the Lake! Located on mile marker 17.2 on the Osage, in the “Old Ski Show” cove. It is less than 1 mile off Osage Beach Parkway off MO-54 – minutes from the Outlet Mall, Wal-Mart, Dierbergs, Hy-Vee and many of Osage Beach’s popular restaurants and night-life. It is close to many of the lake's fun stops like Dog Days, Short Pants and RedHead Yacht Club by water or by car, Backwater Jack’s is the next cove over. The view from inside the cottage and the large deck is spectacular!! It has a nice living area with full kitchen stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans, full sized appliances and small appliances such as toaster, blender and a microwave. It can sleep up to 4 with 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed the other with a king size bed.. All bed linens and bath towels will be provided. The spacious outdoor deck is in the shade of two monster oak trees. It includes a beautiful view of the Lake, patio tables, several chairs and a gas grill for cookouts. “Kozy Kottage” is perfect for a family getaway to enjoy a fun time at the Lake of the Ozarks!!!the the Kozy Kottagediffer. This was our 3rd stay at Kozy Kottage. Great Hosts! Everything was great with the cabin and surroundings as we've experienced before. Looking forward to our stay #4.

The house is small. Fitted more for a couple or family with very young children. It is cute and has amenities. At first glance it appears to be clean. But could use a good deep cleaning and attention to detail on several levels. If your a tall or large person it will be difficult or impossible to use toilet due to a very tight and cramped bathroom. The home uses a septic tank with no ventilation. The toilet paper stored under the sink and all towels and linens smelled of mold and sewage. Under the lip of the shower wall was a thick coating of mold growth. The home smelled of Glade plug in mixed with mildew and mold. All our cloths, worn or not along with our personal pillows had to be washed when we returned home. The driveway is on Extremely steep incline that is not fully described in the profile. The walk from the carport to the house is difficult for anyone, but almost impossible for anyone who has health concerns or elderly. The owners live next door and the property is under continual surveillance. A camera is directed at the front door that has uncovered windows. If someone walks in front of the door from the inside, the camera turns on and blasts a light into the house. The feeling of being continually watched lingered for the week of our stay. The hosts were not as personable as noted in others reviews or as hospitable in person as they were when we messaged prior to our stay. We made the best of the accommodations since we committed over 1K$ nonrefundable

Nice, clean, comfortable with everything we needed. Loved the outdoor space with deck, dock, lounge chairs, tables, slide, diving board, lily pad, floaties etc. Also a paddle boat and canoe to get out on the water in the cove. Location is close to Walmart, restaurants, grocery, plus any lake destination points. If you like to get your workout in, Central Fitness is close and has reasonable day/week passes. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed staying at the kozy kottage so much! Place was very clean, had all the essentials, beds were comfortable, and the perfect size for 3. We also really enjoyed the large deck and dock. The dock also had every thing you need with lots of chairs, a slide, diving board, paddle boat, floats, and a canoe. The owners were so nice and showed us how to use everything. Would definitely stay again. We loved it, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Karen was absolutely amazing. The cottage was so clean, so cute and so cozy. The dock was beautiful, deep water for swimming and fishing. Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous and it was literally 5 to 10 minutes from everything. You will not find a cuter and nicer cottage in this location. They had everything you needed for fun on the lake and for any cooking needs. You will not be disappointed in this property. We are already planning on coming back!

We booked this property to get away for a few nights before school started, and it was a perfect getaway. The cottage is small, but appointed with everything you would need, and it's right on the water. You have access to one side of the dock, and there is a water slide, diving board, paddle boat, and canoe that you can use. There are also floatation devices and fishing rods. My seven and twelve year olds loved it, and didn't want to leave the property, even to eat. We would definitely book again, and plan to do so in the near future.

My girlfriend and son and I went there for the weekend for my son's bday. He brought his boat and put in at PB2 which is about 5 miles away. There's no place to park your boat in the driveway as it's an extremely steep hill. He left his truck and trailer a PB2 until the day we left. The house is small but was perfect for us 3. Everything was supplied, including ice and filtered water in a large jug with a pour spout in the fridge, salt/pepper, oil for cooking, all utensils, etc., towels, linens, coffee maker and coffee. There's a beautiful view from the deck. It's a short walk down to the dock. My son was able to tie his boat up to the dock. He fished (bass) all of the cove and a few other coves nearby. He was able to plug in his battery chargers on the dock. It's close to all the shops, restaurants, etc. We drove the boat to and ate at Backwater Jack's, just one cove over. It's a really nice place, and we met one of the owners, who was super nice. It's definitely a great place for a small party.

Beautiful and great location in a cove. Very Clean property. Wonderful hosts and awesome fishing. My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay so much we wanted to stay longer. So we will book a 4th or even a 5th night next time and be bringing the kids back with us.

It was a good find. It was everything it advertised. No issues with anything. Perfect fit for my daughter and granddaughter and myself. Cozy, clean, well equipped, and on the Lake, with access to the dock for fishing and water fun. It fit our needs, but if you are considering 4 adults, it could be a bit more cozy .

This Kozy Kottage was exactly as described and then some. It felt like a home away from home. The extra amenities provided were so thoughtful and useful. The weather was cold during our stay. We would have like to enjoyed being outside more, but was so thankful for the view you get from inside, as we got to watch the eagles soar.

My wife, two sons (8 and 6) and I enjoyed the stay. Perfect amount of space for us, right on the water, and the boys loved the slide and diving board. Caught a few bass, catfish and bluegill right off the dock. Will be back 100%.

Had a very relaxing stay at Karens' Kozy Kottage. Karen and Craig were great hosts everything was very clean and coffee on the deck every morning was the best. Rented a tritoon from WFO boat rental just one cove over and kept it overnight at the cottage. Very nice property.
