Classic Log Home on 6.5 private, secluded acres. 20 minutes to Loon and Waterville Valley, close to Franconia Notch, 25 minutes to Squam Lake. Gorgeous mountain views, babbling brook, 5 minute walk to 30-foot waterfall. Also, it’s only a 5-minute walk to swimming pond and tennis court. The property borders the White Mountain National Forest. There are two large bedrooms plus a loft. Large country kitchen/living room. Farmer’s porch with hammock. Fireplace in Master Bedroom, wood stove in living room. Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump/ac system, with Toyotomi heater (similar to Monitor) as backup. Fully furnished with a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom (plus a full sized sleeper-sofa), queen-sized bed in the second bedroom, a double bed futon sofa in the loft plus a chaise lounger that converts to a twin sized bed. Two full bathrooms. Full heated basement. Seasonal rentals considered. Pets considered.

The photos don't do this cabin and area justice- you really need to see it for yourself! It is a beautiful, quiet, more remote area that is perfect to decompress. There are trails and a waterfall to walk to right from the driveway. The cabin has everything you can possibly need. It is set up almost like two suites- a bedroom and bathroom on each floor and three areas with couches (one in the downstairs bedroom, one in the main living area, and one in the loft.) This made it very convenient as we were traveling as 4 adults- two couples. Each couple had their own living space, as well as space to spend time together as a group. David was very responsive and informative. I would recommend staying here and hope to come back!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed the yard, walking path and short hike to the river and waterfall. The inside of the cabin is rustic and cozy. The wood stove just added to the atmosphere. Our 7 yr old Golden was right at home. We plan to return! David was a great host. We highly recommend this place.

We loved staying in David’s cabin! It’s clean and tucked away from the world. In two days in April we experienced all four seasons: Sunny skies, rain, and even big fluffy snowflakes! The brook is the best white noise and the view is beautiful. Highly recommend this spot!!
