Situated in La Romana, this lovely villa for $1,412 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This exquisite 9,684 sq. ft. villa is located in Los Mangos, an exclusive neighborhood in the center of Casa de Campo, overlooking the 12th hole of the private Romana Country Club Golf Course. Its prime location provides easy access to Minitas Beach, the Hotel and the Marina. And its eastward situation allows for a soft breeze and a beautiful view of the golf course. In addition, its superb Modern-Tropical design by renowned Architect Rafael Selman interprets what it means to live in a Caribbean resort like Casa de Campo. This villa which was finished in 2004, has been featured in various arquitectural magazines and books, for its unique design, where the tropical architectural style creates harmony by utilizing the modern clean minimalist form, mixing rustic materials like slate stone, and eucalyptus wood, with ultra modern materials like stainless steel and glass. In the large open terrace, is where you begin to appreciate the blending between tropical and contemporary. Inside the house, the roofs are concrete, and the entire house has central a/c. On each side of the living room are the main family room and main dinning room, each with glass folding frameless doors that afford beautiful views of the infinity pool, new jacuzzi, and the golf course. Look at the stars while you shower in one of three bathrooms that have beautiful outside showers with patios, in addition to the inside showers. The master suite opens to the pool/jacuzzi area in the center of the backyard. Two bedrooms have private terraces. The villa is beautifully decorated in a contemporary style, with Mitchell Gold sectional furniture and custom made bedroom and dining area furniture. As you arrive to Villa Los Mangos you will be pampered by our dedicated staff of four who have been here for 5 years, taking care of every detail for this villa and its visitors. They will do your grocery shopping, arrange for massages, tee times, horseback riding, boat rentals, or whatever activity your mood calls for. They can arrange for dinner reservations, however, after you try our cook's food you won't want to eat out! Our four full time employees included in the rental are a butler/chauffeur/coordinator, our waiter/bartender, our housekeeper and our cook. Special needs like full time babysitter, can be arranged. We LOVED this villa and staff! It has a beautiful pool and view of golf course. The location is great for being close to the minitas beach club. The staff was fantastic - friendly , attentive, and anticipated our every need. I would highly recommend this villa!

I booked this house for my 40th celebration with my partner and friends. It was PERFECT for this occasion. I cannot express how friendly and accommodating the staff was (especially Mario!). Everyone had plenty of space to spread out but we found ourselves gathering around the hot tub/pool area each evening. Annie was great at booking and ensuring accomodations were 100%.

The house is just as advertised. Beautiful, well located, clean, comfortable, functional, spotless on every aspect of it. Our family had a wonderful time. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the family had a great time. Anyelo, Mario, Yesenia and Marlen were simply spectacular, and it does not seem there is anything they are not able to make happen and accommodate. Our family has multiple needs with grandparents, teenagers and small kids, and they were always willing to find ways to help with a smile. One important call out is that food in the house is absolutely delicious. I don’t think it is worth it to go out to eat outside! Enjoy the opportunity and do not think twice to stay in this fantastic house!

The house is an architectural dream. Pictures do not do it justice. This was an amazing location for a girls trip. The staff was very helpful and the food was delicious. Mario especially went above and beyond for our group in all aspects. The house was exceptionally clean as well! We had a great time!

What a great property! Beautiful, just as pictured. PERFECT location. The true highlight was the staff. Our kids are all still saying how much they miss Mario. The meals at the house really were so much better than the restaurants. Elevated home cooking with local ingredients, perfection. We'll be back!

Los Mangos 18A was a perfect choice for my brother and 10 of his closest friends to spend a few days together as a last hooray before he walks down the isle. House was as described, rooms where comfortable, location was perfect, house staff was always a step ahead of us, and meals where delicious. As far as Annie the host she was quick and efficient to deal with. I would change nothing from our trip and I’m so happy we chose this house.

Beautiful comfortable villa in a fantastic location close to Minitas Beach. The cook at the villa is superb; we definitely enjoyed our meals at the villa more than anywhere on the property. The staff is attentive and courteous, Mario specially made sure we had everything we needed at all times.

This was an absolutely amazing vacation experience. We traveled with a very large group and every single person was thrilled with this Villa. Not only is the location beautiful, the staff (Anyelo, Marleny, Mario and Yesenia) were truly outstanding. Yesenia was an amazing chef and Mario's cocktails were superb! Marleny was so very friendly and accommodating and she loved on our children as if they were her own. We felt very taken care of and we will definitely be back to visit again in the future!

We have just returned from a two week stay at this generously proportioned, well laid out villa in an ideal location within the resort. The views from the garden onto the golf course are stunning. A very peaceful setting.
The staff at the villa - Mario, Malena and Antonia - were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they were the perfect combination of attentive but discreet. Very lovely people 😊
We had a delicious breakfast at the villa every morning plus the occasional lunch or dinner, all of which were very tasty.

Our family loved our vacation at Casa de Campo and staying in this beautiful villa located near the beach. The villa is spacious with all the amenities including a pool overlooking the golf course: We felt secluded yet we we close to the beach and other resort amenities. Planning our trip was easy thanks to the owner and her suggested menus.

We coordinated all of our meals, golf cart/transportation and a boat trip before arrival and everything went as planned. The food was amazing - we always had the perfect amount and had almost all meals at the house which was so convenient. This house is pretty cool inside and out. When you pull up it is stunning and different than many of the houses. We spent a lot of time golfing so we were able to see hundreds of different houses on the golf courses and this home has one of the most private settings in Casa de Campo. The golf course is behind you but there are no houses behind you, very unique. It is walking distance to the beach. The master is exceptional and has a wonderful bath and outdoor shower and double sinks. Two of the other bathrooms had outdoor showers as well. The bedroom areas, family room, dinning room and kitchen are all air conditioned. 4 bedrooms were on the main level and 2 were in the lower level. The pool area is nice and there is a huge yard to play games or get the late afternoon sun.
Annie the owner was very responsive to all our requests before and during our stay. We had Mario and Melania as house staff and Rosa as a cook. They were all outstanding. We did have a language issue(they speak Spanish) but Mario worked hard with Google translate to understand what we needed. He did a fantastic job at making drinks, serving the meals and pretty much anything we needed. Mario and Melania did a beautiful job of decorating the table for all out meals. The meals were all excellent and we only gained a little weight which means they were healthy. One of the minor issues is there were only two of us and they seem to know how to cook for bigger groups. We felt we probably wasted a lot of food. It also seemed that they bought more food than we needed(it was still a good value about $550 for 5 great breakfasts, 3 lunches, 4 dinners) In the future we would be more specific with the menu and exactly the food we wanted from the grocery store or just bought it ourselves at the marina Nacional grocery store. We think the cook is mandatory since we could not figure out how to work the appliances except for the microwave. We did arrange a massage through the staff and we did not get the type of massage we requested and I would say it was just ok, but a good value compared to the resort.
The transportation to and from the airport was about the same as booking directly, so it worked well.
The only improvements I think that need to be done are expanding the Wi-F area, it worked well in half the house but was weak in other areas. We did not watch tv but it would have been good to have a tv with a streaming ability from a phone or iPad. Overall a great place to stay.

Just perfect in every way!
Our stay at Los Mangos 18 was more than we could dream of. Annie was always just a message away to make sure our vacations were perfect. And wow, they truly exceed our expectations!!! Anyelo had everything ready for us, from transportation to food and beverages. Rosa’s cuisine was exquisite! The sancocho was the surprise of the weekend. It was so tasty and delicious that we couldn’t get enough of it! Marlenis always had the house spotless, our clothes and our rooms ready. Mario and Hansel take great care of us. Mario was truly the MVP! His service and attention to detail were phenomenal. We didn’t even have to ask him for anything because he make sure our glasses were always full and that the dining room was always ready for our next meal. Los Mangos 18 should definitely be in your bucket list if you plan to stay at DR. We will be back FOR SURE!

Weekend getaway
Great for a weekend get away. Beware there is hardly functional wifi at this property. You will not be able to work from home or even connect to instagram. Everything else was lovely. Great property, great staff. Awesome home.

She got very defensive despite the proof in pictures I sent her. The house is in major need of maintenance. You can’t rent the house for 12 guests when two of the six bedrooms are uninhabitable. The two bedrooms downstairs are not in any condition to host guests. The plaster on the ceilings is peeling and falling. One room had a moth the size of my hand. The A/C in one room was not working when we arrived. A repairman was called to add Freon to the system. One bedroom downstairs had mold in the ceiling. The Formica in the closet shelves is pealing. The door in one bedroom door did not close. We had to hold it closed with a shoe. The louver in one bathroom fell through the window when one guest tried to open it to let fresh air in. The staff working at the house tried to be accommodating but it was beyond their control. We have rented multiple properties in the past and never had an experience like this. I wish this platform had the ability to load pictures to illustrate our experience. I will be pursuing a refund from VRBO.
