Located in Prince Edward Island, this lovely house for $272 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come and stay at, "The Martin", our completely renovated, 3 bedroom two bath waterfront home. Our property on Winter Bay, offers every amenity you will need while exploring our Island. Uniquely located close to the National park beaches, yet only 15 minutes from Charlottetown. We are literally minutes from beaches and everything the "Green Gables" shore has to offer. This region includes Cavendish, Avonlea and over 10 golf courses. Must see Dalvay, Stanhope & Brackley Beaches, as well as, North Rustico Harbor, New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, Stanley Bridge are just a few of the great areas to explore during your stay on Prince Edwards Island. "The Martin"; waterfront property can accommodate up to 6 people including children, and comes complete with a fully equipped Kitchen, Great room with large Dining and Living areas. Air Conditioning, Washer and Dryer, as well as brand new Beauty Rest Queen mattresses in all 3 bedrooms, two new full bathrooms are just some of the updated features of this home. Enjoy the water views and all the wild life that abounds from the huge screen room with BBQ. Floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace adds to the tasteful décor and finishes in this beautiful home. Large deck areas and a huge yard, with access to our private sandy shoreline. This is the perfect place to enjoy both sun rises and sun set evenings. Don't miss all the activities, festivals and fairs that are happening in historic Charlottetown, the birthplace of Canada, only 20 minutess from our door. We can always suggest the best places to dine and spend your time while you are on "our Island". Multiple generations of our family have lived and loved this property and you can feel that warmth when you enter the home. The owners are close, but still far enough away :). Always available to help you with anything you need.

The perfect place for our group of 3 friends visiting PEI. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped and our host, Pearl, was friendly, welcoming and responsive. Close to some nice beaches, lobster shacks and Charlottetown and the airport. Lovely setting by a bay where we watched bald eagles. Definitely recommend!

Thank you Pearl for letting us stay in your beautiful childhood house. The house is really well decorated, with enough rooms, bathrooms and space for our 6 family members. It was really clean and really well organized. The BBQ and the veranda were a plus. The view on the water is amazing. We felt very welcome, and we appreciated you came by to introduce yourself and gave us insight on what to visit and what to do around the house. Thank you for so much and if we come back in the area we will contact you again.

We loved Pearl’s house! She greeted us at checkin, and told us all about the house and the area. She gave us some great suggestions of areas to visit (it was our first trip to PEI). Pearl was just delightful and a plethora of knowledge as she is a true islander. We really loved our stay here, and the house itself was just perfect and lovely. It was peaceful and quiet, but also great that it was about 20 minutes from Charlottetown. We would 100% stay here again. Thank you Pearl!

I don't even know where to start. The property is amazing, easy to find, it is on the water with wildlife in your backyard. Inside the cottage is very homelike feeling, there is space for your things and yet it has some lovely touches of home. My two teen kids and my senior mother and I stayed here for a week in August 2022. My senior mother can do a few steps but she uses a walker to get around and the main floor offered a bedroom and bathroom for her as well as plenty of space for her to get around and furniture that was easy for her to get up off of. Shower was walk in but we brought a bathroom stool and there was plenty of room for it. There is a lovely deck and even a screened in part to keep the bugs out. Pearl was a great resource for recommendations on places to go and places to eat. We enjoyed Souris Beach a few times and even got over to Cavendish and into Charlottetown too. I highly recommend this cottage. Of course I must mention wifi and a/c both of which my teens enjoyed.

This is a lovely property 10 minutes from the centre of Charlottetown. It is waterfront with great views and access to the beach. We arrived only days after power was restored following a hurricane. Pearl welcomed us despite the circumstances. We really appreciated her hospitality.

Ms Pearl was wonderful and helpful in every way. The house was very clean and you can tell there’s nice mattresses, good towels, and a stocked kitchen and laundry. We stayed near family so location was great for that, but with our two littles the drive to Charlottetown was tough. Planning ahead would have saved us time had we not wanted take out each night. The beaches are close by, but you can also easily drive to others that are further. Great spot out of town, quiet, sunrises we’re incredible, friendly host, overall a great stay while we visited local family.

Wonderful experience with Pearl and her property. Very clean, welcoming and updated. We were attending a conference in Charlottetown so we did not get the full immersive experience but it was a wonderful retreat for us.

What an amazing experience to stay at The Martin!!! Can't recommend this highly enough. The home is amazing. Beautifully decorated with everything you need stocked and so well thought out. It is the CLEANEST Vrbo we have ever rented. It is immaculate. Best of all, the host Pearl met us as we arrived with the most gracious welcome. Her hospitality will not be forgotten. She gave us wonderful suggestions for area restaurants and things to do and made sure all was well. She was there again as we left with more hospitality. We couldn't have felt more welcome. The setting is stunning, We loved the screen in porch and everything about this. You won't go wrong. Thank you Pearl for everything!!!

Very nice well kept clean property with access to Corran Bay. Well equipped kitchen and lots of towels for both bathrooms. Interior decorated with taste and artwork on walls gave us a strong feeling of living at your own home. Host greeted us and recommended where to dine. Really enjoyed our short stay!!

Pearl was friendly, professional and accommodating. Our party included our family of 5 adults and a baby and we found the property to be comfortable with all the amenities you need. It is 15 minutes to the National Park beaches and 20 minutes to Charlottetown for shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend renting the Martin.

Thank you for providing the perfect location for a family get away. The property was the perfect setting for peace and quiet but close the Charlottetown and the rest of our family. Beautiful home away from home
As the saying goes, "home is where the heart is". So where better place to stay when away from home than a house someone has clearly poured their heart into? We were personally greeted and welcomed by Pearl, who made sure we were comfortable and well-informed about the area. The location of the home was perfect for our first time on PEI, and we were able to enjoy much of the island's points of interest without driving too far. The home is furnished thoughtfully so people could relax in several areas sinking into the large cushioned seats in the living room, chatting around a large dining table, or enjoying the outdoors in one of the patio chairs on the deck or sitting around a second large dining table in the enclosed patio. The kitchen is well-stocked so we were able to cook and enjoy a nice meal around the large dining table one night, and enjoy take-out in the enclosed outdoor patio another night. The yard is really lovely as well with picturesque views of the ocean. Our kids had a blast exploring the beach, and all of us slept comfortably in the well-cared for home. Thank you Pearl, we really enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful PREI experience at "The Martin".
The location was close enough to dining, fresh seafood, beaches and magnificent views but far enough away from city life. The property itself was nestled amongst the trees with a beautiful water view. We enjoyed the screened in patio at sunrise and sunset. The home was above & beyond what we expected and included everything you can think of to make your stay enjoyable. We were greeted by the host (Pearl) and we had the pleasure of chatting with her. What a wonderful lady - great tips! If you are thinking PEI, The Martin is the place to stay!

This home was the perfect place to meet up with family that we hadn't seen in 2 years! The owner was remarkably helpful to us, attentive to the children, and a pleasure to spend time with. The house was comfortable with a kitchen well-stocked with appliances & cutlery and plenty of outdoor space to play in.

Our family of 5 rented this vacation home for two days. It's on route to Green Gable and next to the beach. The house is backed to a private beach as well although we didn't have chance to explore more there. Very welcoming with all the essentials for our two days stay. We used the fully functioning kitchen for our family meal, fresh eggs, bacons and chicken, potatoes and other vegetables from local farmers and seafood from the market. It's a wonderful experience. Thanks to Pearl to help us handling an emergency package delivery, it's extraordinary! We'll certainly be back!

Allowed Us To See PEI
Pearl is a very nice host. The home met our needs for being able to prepare some great seafood dishes. The areas of the house were very nice and the screened in porch is great. Because of the proliferation of mosquitoes the beach area near the house could not be enjoyed. This was not the case at the beach sites within the park approximately 10 minutes away. There is a cost associated with those beach sites.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Martin. It includes very comfortable amenities and a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher!). Corran Ban is located near the National Park. The drive in the evening at sunset is stunning. It was a great cottage for a family vacation.

Close to the National Park beach area. The property was recently renovated to modern standards with two bathrooms. The screened in deck was great. Pearl, our host, was great to work with.

Great stay!
This property is in an excellent location and very well-kept. Pearl was so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. She has thought of everything her guests could need in this house, from kitchenware to books and DVDs. We didn’t use the beach much because we found there were a lot of mosquitoes, but were only a short drive from the national park and its excellent beaches. It was lovely to have coffee on the screened in porch every morning.

The owner (Pearl) was very helpful and the cottage was spotless, well appointed and comfortable. The location was great - close to Charlottetown and several great beaches. Overall we were very happy and would recommend to others

Awesome location!
We loved how central this house was to the parks AND Charlottetown - it made it very easy to explore the area. Our kids LOVED going into the national parks a short drive from the house and exploring the beaches and a playground. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with. Our only issue was with the mosquitoes - we couldn’t spend much time outdoors in the yard playing because they were swarming so badly. I’m sure at a different time of year it would be less of a problem, and the owner was nice enough to warn us and provide mosquito repellent.

Everything previous reviewers have said is true. Great house layout. Very close to National park beaches. Nice host. We are a family of four. Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms made for a very pleasant stay.
