Situated in Blue Mountain Beach, this charming house for $1,300 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Wake up and smell the salt air! This five bedroom beachfront home has a 1200 square foot deck with a spectacular view of the Gulf. Just walk down the private stairs and there you are - with your toes in the sand! Located in the secluded neighborhood of Blue Mountain Beach, this home sleeps 10 people, has a full kitchen, game room, dining room, full-size washer and dryer and a wonderfully comfortable living area. Adjacent game room has Foosball, darts, big screen television, shuffleboard and a poker table. One of the two master bedrooms is completely private with a private bathroom and private entrance. The main house has four bedrooms - two upstairs and two downstairs. Whether you have a big group or just a few people, you will never be at a loss for something to do. Blue Mountain Beach is located between Destin and Panama City.

* Distance of house from beach with a stunning view
* Massive back deck with sun shade
* Sliding glass doors to the deck were convenient and didn’t obstruct the view in any way.
* Well stocked kitchen
* Game room that appealed to our older children
* Quiet neighborhood
* Not too far from restaurants and shops in nearby communities on 30-A
* Layout of the house. We LOVED having a separate suite which provided plenty of privacy. Our children and grandchildren had plenty of room in the other 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was also nice to have the additional bathroom in the game room that people could easily use.
* There is a pack and play, baby monitor, and high chair that strapped to an adult chair . . . so helpful for our granddaughter.
* There were tons of games to enjoy!
* Communication with the owner. Cathy was so easy to work with and extremely helpful.

* The house is next to a public beach access. We visited in September so it was not an issue at all.
* The house does have wi-fi but it struggled a bit when all of us were on it at the same time. We just made sure to not all be on if we were streaming a movie.
We fished with Dead Fish Charters and highly recommend Captain Larry!
We have stayed at numerous places along the beach. Our search is officially over…this is the PERFECT house for our family now and in the years to come.

We absolutely loved this house! We cook almost every night and having a fully stocked kitchen was great. We enjoyed the game room and used it everyday. We have older kids (youngest is 17, oldest is 22) and they particularly liked it. The back deck was awesome and we ate outside for every meal. I can’t say enough good things about this house and the owner is so easy and nice to work with before and during our stay. It made for a fantastic week!

Great experience working with the owner prior to and during stay. Very attentive. Had no issues so we had no need to correspond during the stay but prior to stay all communication was great. Check in was seamless. Amazing ocean front location. Has one king suite setup that is isolated by itself giving a lot of flexibility for someone wanting their own space. Location was great for travel to Destin or 30A and Panama City. We had a party of 9 requiring 5 bedrooms and the fit was perfect.

This place is right on the beach and the deck is awesome as well. I must also note this premier host Cathy is very easy to get a hold of. it was so nice of a place I am booking another week there in August 2022. The water is so crystal clear and emerald in color as far as the eyes can see.... Thank you Cathy!

Excellent location for beach lovers! The house is a good choice for grandparents who want to spend quality time with children and grandchildren. The house was well-stocked with necessary paper products and the kitchen contained nice cooking ware and tableware. The game room was a huge success for my grandchildren-ages 17 months, 6,6, 9 and 9. I definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

Believe the reviews, this is an absolutely wonderful opportunity to stay on the beach. House was clean, location was perfect and most importantly, the owner is responsive and very generous. She contacted us to offer whatever extra nights we needed because of flights being cancelled due to weather. We ended up having a cancelled flight, and she honored her offer of an additional night with no additional charge. In a world of contracts, small print, and rules, it was delightful to work with a real person who cares about the property and the guest experience. If you are looking for a place in this area, stop your search.....this is the one!!

Our stay was perfect. The communication with the property manager was excellent. The house was clean and very well equipped. The game room was the perfect location to end a day on the beach with some fun family time. We definitely hope to stay at this property again.

Pulling in we were even more impressed with how the property/location were laid out. Neighborhood was very nice and quiet, and the mornings on the deck to start the day really set the tone.
Being so close to the beach was so convenient, and the property manager was great with updating us with parking, weather and other details throughout the week, without being overbearing. 5/5 from our party. We would definitely recommend to friends, and plan on coming back again soon.

We just returned from our family's annual week long stay on the beach. The place was perfect, cozy and very clean. The house is right on the beach and we can't say enough about the large patio. We enjoyed sitting out there to eat breakfast and dinner. The game room is awesome too! The owner, Cathy, was great and made sure we had everything that we needed. This will be our "go to" vacation home from now on.

Our third visit to this beautiful location was wonderful as usual. The beach is fine white sand, the deck is the size of a small ballroom, and the views are terrific. We noticed more good restaurants in the area (Blue Mabel, Graydon Fish Bar) and a very helpful Big Daddy’s bicycle shop. It was fun to ride to Seaside by bike. The house layout with a separate building for master bedroom and game room suited well our group of parents and three adult children.The house is well stocked with whatever you might need, including beach towels and chairs for the beach.

Do not stay here. The entire house is very dated and reeks of mildew. The owners complain about everything and will charge you for “damages” if you forget to take out the trash.

Perfect for a relaxing week on the beach. The Game room was an awesome “home base” for our teenage boys and their friends. Lots of time in there and on the beach. The deck was incredible. Spent all week on it. House was clean and had everything we needed. Cathy was very communicative and answered all our questions leading up to our trip. Would definitely rent again.

We really enjoyed staying at this rental in blue mountain. Beautiful views, directly on the beach, very spacious. Our two boys had a blast being able to go from the balcony to the beach freely. Cathy was very responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful views, awesome deck, and amazing beach access. Everything in the home is higher quality and well take care of. Anything you could imagine needing is stocked in this home. The weather was chilly for part of our trip so we especially enjoyed having a nice and cozy home to warm up in, along with the game room. I would agree with another reviewer who suggested somehow closing in the breezeway (maybe big windows to keep the beautiful view?). Wonderful place to spend Christmas! We had one issue that was resolved quickly with the owner who went above and beyond. You can tell this home has pride of ownership and the owners wants to provide a quality experience for guests.

This home suited our needs perfectly! We were a gathering of 5 friends who wanted to reconnect on a beach trip without being right in the middle of all the Seaside area craziness. The homeowner answered all of our questions & made the reservation process absolutely seamless. 5 bedrooms, a well outfitted kitchen, huge veranda overlooking the beautiful beach, we simply couldn't have asked for a better location for a trip filled with lots of laughter, the occasional glass of bubbly, & plenty of fresh seafood. Highly recommended for anyone who wants an easy, relaxing stay.

This has been our 5th year renting this fantastic house in August. Right out the door you are on a beautiful deck and the beach and the views are almost breathtaking. This year we had the wonderful opportunity to stay for an additional week as our daughter was getting married and wanted a beach wedding. Cathy was so hospitable allowing us to have the wedding ceremony directly on the beach. It turned out to be a wedding that my daughter had dreamed of. We also had the opportunity to invite family members from Chicago to enjoy the great views and relaxation that we have always had. Again Cathy thank you again and can't wait until next year.

A group of friends that travel together frequently always end up in Vegas, but this year we wanted a beach vacation. We decided to explore renting a house and came upon this gem! Having never been to this area of Florida we did not know what to expect. I was slightly nervous having only rented on VRBO once before, but the booking process was easy and the details of the house & area from Cathy were spot on. Our group included 3 couples & 2 singles. Our friends ranging from 32-39 years old and my husband’s parents – we traveled in from TN, GA & NC.
It’s always a bit nerve-racking trying to accommodate the wishes of a group of people, but the minute we walked out the deck and saw the ocean all my worries were swept away. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. We could live on that deck! We loved the set-up of the house because everyone had their own space. The additional game room and separate master suite was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner a few times. We also enjoyed walking to get fabulous breakfast biscuits at Sally’s/Redd’s and also took a cab to Seagrove for a delicious dinner at Café Thirty-A. Throughout the weekend various groups of people experienced a 6 hour fishing charter, played a round of golf and explored Seaside. We had to postpone and then eventually cancel the SUP’s we wanted to rent due to the wind and extreme waves, but Surf SUP was great to deal with and very accommodating. Our time here was perfect and we hope to come back someday! Thank you for allowing us to experience your oasis Cathy!

Once a year, a group of over-worked colleagues (all women) treat ourselves to a weekend at the beach. The first year we rented another home, also directly on the beach, but it didn't feel like home. This home does. It's well-appointed, yet comfortable. Everything you need to feel right at home is there. We love lounging on the huge deck that overlooks the beach, sitting around the large dining room table enjoying a meal together. Our favorite thing to do is to bring down the many beach chairs that are available down to the beach. Simply heavenly. We love it and look forward to returning again and again.

Our group of friends and family all fell in love with this fabulous beach house. Upon getting out of your car in the driveway and walking to the breezeway that connects the two structures you're greeted by the beautiful sight of the sparkling Gulf of Mexico right in front of you. The setting couldn't be more perfect. You have the beachfront to yourselves, no lugging chairs or coolers needed. The house is a homey eclectic mix of comfortable furnishings, clean comfy beds, nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty of amenities to make you feel at home. There were spices and pantry items in the cabinets and plenty of appliances and dishes and glasses. The house feels like a family home rather than a generic rental. The deck running the length of the house and overlooking the beach is where we spent the majority of our time. Would love to come back. Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd stay at this house and both stays have been beyond our expectations. The house is clean, well maintained and stocked with anything you might need. There is just no comparison to staying directly on the beach. The views are spectacular. We saw dolphins & rays right out in front while standing on the deck. We had 4 couples staying at the house and we were completely comfortable. We just love this house and the location. The owner is super to work with. I texted the property manager about something and she responded back right away. We have stayed in Miramar Beach for 30 years and although we like that area – this house in Blue Mountain Beach is so much better. The only bad thing I can say about this property - is that I don’t get the opportunity to rent the house more often.

We had four couples spend a long weekend at the beach and the house couldn't have been more perfect. We got there early afternoon on Thursday and didn't leave the house /beach until Saturday night when we went to dinner. The owner was very accommodating and the house was well equipped. We enjoyed watching movies, playing games and shuffleboard in the evenings after dinner. We loved the extra large deck overlooking the beach. We even caught 8 pompano off the beach during the weekend. We are already planning a return trip for next fall.

This beach house was incredible. It is a very comfortable, well maintained and decorated home. The game room and separate bedroom/bath was nice since both were on the other side of the breezeway from the house. The owners have thought of just about everything you could need during your stay. The large deck overlooking the beach was amazing. You had ocean views from the whole back of the house as well! We had 9 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. There is a great walking/bike path about 3 blocks from the house and you can go for miles on that. Very nice community with little shops and restaurants. There is a shopping center a couple miles from the house with a Publix, nail salon, Happy Howie's pizza (which was very good), etc. About 5 miles and you will find a Walmart. Destin is about 20 minutes away and Panama City is between 30-40 miles from the house. My family highly recommends this rental property!!

Our encore trip to Blue Mountain Beach was memorable in many ways. Our three adult children couldn't wait to return two years after our first trip. Everyone had their own bedroom, and our newly-married daughter shared the master suite with her husband. We followed our favorite relaxing vacation recipe: flexible mornings and afternoons eating at the beach house, and dinners out at the many wonderful nearby restaurants. The beach is immediately accessible by private stairs. The huge deck with suncover allows someone like me who burns easily but likes to read to enjoy the ocean without burning. On Monday, Beach Sand Sculptures sent out three instructors to help us build sandcastles. An hour later, we had a magnificent 4-towered edifice. Imagine going on a vacation where everyone feels the pride of accomplishing something! The next day, my son and a daughter each built a new tower out of sand. When we left at the end of the week, all the towers were still standing. We took trips into nearby Destin and Seaside, but mostly we just enjoyed hanging out at the beach with each other.
