About this house rental
Located in Alvin, this attractive house for $267 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Pet free, Allergen free home, located 100 yards from the swimming beach and at the end of a cul-de-sac. This newly renovated home offers a fully stocked kitchen, with granite counter-tops, tile floor, double-oven, dishwasher, microwave, and washer & dryer. You will not find a better stocked home around. Because we rented quite a bit before buying this place, we took note of what is needed and appreciated. We used to take loads of supplies - or bought them upon arrival. Here you will have plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, small zip bags, dish soap (hand and auto), cleaning supplies, etc. Not to mention sugar, condiments, and spices galore. We have a pancake griddle, blender/food processor, slow-cooker, plenty of pots & pans, and all kinds of kitchen gadgets. We provide all linens, including bath & beach towels. Beach chairs and umbrella are also available, along with beach toys:). What a deal! All you have to bring is your food, drinks, personal items and toiletries. And if you happen to forget something, we have the sample size hotel toiletries, and some 'emergency items' under the counter! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the deck while watching the dolphins, pelicans, and waves. Stay outside on the deck in the evening for some amazing stargazing - far away from the bright lights of Galveston and Surfside. The large 60" TV with Netflix and a DVD player in living room offers the perfect gathering point to watch movies with the family. The home also has high-speed internet and BDR #2 has a 40" TV. Newly updated with 2 bathrooms. For those wanting to work remotely while gazing at the ocean, we have an extra 20” monitor HDMI cable & extension cord for you to use with your laptop. We even have a simple office chair which is a tad more comfortable than the dinning chairs:) To ease your concerns over COVID-19, this house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every rental. ALL linens and bed covers used during a guest stay are freshly laundered. That includes decorator-pillow covers and throws in the living area. In consideration of those who have allergies, we use mostly natural, disinfectant cleaning products that are eco-friendly and low scented. The following are all sanitized after every stay: all surfaces, including the inside of drawers in bedroom dressers; door knobs, handles, and pulls (ex: fans, lamps). We are available 24/7 for any issues you may encounter. You're going to have a great time! Treasure Island: Treasure Island at San Luis Pass is a quiet, family oriented hamlet with 20 miles of beach that reaches all the way to Surfside. The community is located at the base of the San Luis pass Bridge. Treasure Island is perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds, spend their days at the beach, and their evenings reconnecting with family and friends while sitting on the deck. Across the road is San Luis Pass County Park. It offers a public boat launch into Christmas Bay, the perfect place for kayaking and sailing. The park also includes fishing areas and fish cleaning stations. A pavilion for family or group gatherings is available for rent.

The house was exactly as advertised and fit our needs perfectly! We enjoyed being near both Surfside and Galveston. The hosts were wonderful! They communicated often, replied to my emails quickly and they were just so congenial! We will definitely stay here again 😊

We had a great stay! The house is a very short walk to the beach and located half way between Galveston and Lake Jackson. They had all the towels and beach gear we could want. Communication with the host was very easy and they were great to work with.

The beach house was just like home, but even better. It was stocked with everything one would need just bring food. It was easy packing for this trip because the house had almost everything you needed even included beach chairs and sand toys for the kiddo. The view from the deck of the beach and ocean was great. The beach was just steps away from the house. The area was quiet and relaxing. I will for sure book this beach house next time we make a trip back to the Galveston area.

This place is wonderful! The host is very responsive! It’s very well stocked and so very clean! The location is amazing! You can sit on the front deck and watch the waves roll in…you can even sit inside at the table and watch the waves roll in. You can sit on the back deck and watch the sunset. And, in just a very, very short walk you can be standing on the beach. The area is incredibly quiet and peaceful…just what we were looking for! I have stayed in many VRBO’s and this, by far, is the best!

This lovely beach home had everything we needed to feel right at home. All we needed to bring was food, clothing and hygiene items. This was our third visit to Treasure Island and it is still our favorite quite vacation spot. Miles of peaceful beach to recharge on. Owners were a pleasure to communicate with. Looking forward to our next escape to this beach house!

The bed was very comfortable. Very well furnished and cozy. The only issue we had was the coffee maker did not have a filter holder that you could remove to get rid of the coffee grounds. We definitely will rent the beach house again.

This is not a large property, but it's designed well and is both comfortable and clean. The owners were extremely prompt in communication and were flexible and friendly every time we spoke with them. The house looks out over a great beach with only locals using it, and we loved being able to walk right out any time. The only downside to the location is that you have a bit of a drive to either Surfside Beach or the Galveston area, but that was absolutely worth it for the quiet and less-crowded experience we wanted. It was a great stay and became our home away from home for two fantastic weeks!

Poor Representation
The description of the property on the website was completely misleading. The misrepresentation was so bad we thought we were at the wrong home in the neighborhood. The home is not equip for a family to stay there comfortably. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were not large enough for teenagers much less adults. The property is antiquated and needs to be remodeled. The deck is not finished, nails were sticking up and we picked up several loose nails on the deck, the stairs are dangerous. The outside shower is not enclosed and the only thing that was great and truly represented about the home was the location and accessibility to the beach.

Great week
Great location, and away from larger crowds of Galveston. During the week, we practically had the beach to ourselves. It was not overcrowded on the weekend either. A short drive to Galveston to enjoy great dining and other activities also

Perfect quiet getaway
If you’re looking for a quiet, somewhat isolated neighborhood, This is a wonderful place. We really enjoyed the quiet but friendly neighborhood and that it is just far enough from Galvaston or Lake Jackson to not be in the hustle and bustle but close enough to spend the day in town and drive back.

Our family stayed at the property during spring break, we had an excellent time, the house has beautiful views of the gulf and is only steps away. The house is well equipped and very spacious. Great communication with the host. I would highly recommend this property.

Loved every minute! Danny was very responsive and kept us informed on everything going on with the house and the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and will more than likely be reserving for next summer as soon as we can!!!!

My daughter, her m-i-l, and 5 of my GC ranging from 8 to 38 stayed in the house and had a wonderful time! We had a puzzle, games, food, the TV, the beach just steps away and it was in the 80's all week. It rained a lot. But, we had so much fun. The window units were enough, BECAUSE it was in the 80's. We would love this house again, once the central unit is repaired. Thanks, Danny.
