Cabin1 is an authentic log cabin, perfect for your tranquil mountain get-away. Located in Nordegg, AB in a semi-private wooded area, it is a great base for your Rocky Mountain adventures. Enjoy a campfire, glimpse wildlife (deer, owl, elk - and many other animals), and breathe the fresh air. It's all happening at Cabin1! The log cabin is self-contained with a full kitchen and bath and a traditional cast iron wood stove in the sitting area completes the cozy mountain ambience. Boasting over 400 sqft (37 m2) of living space on the main floor and an additional open loft sleeping area with 2 beds; one king and one queen, the cabin is designed for one or two guests but may accommodate up to four guests. There is also a BBQ and an exclusive outdoor fire pit for your enjoyment. Walking trails to nearby Shunda meadows begin right at your doorstep! Amenities: ​Kitchen – Complete with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, and microwave. A coffee maker (Keurig) and standard coffee and tea supplies are provided, as well as many small kitchen appliances. Other kitchen equipment includes; a basic set of cookware, utensils, serve ware, cutlery and place settings. Bathroom – A private bathroom includes a standard size tub/shower, vanity sink and toilet. ​Other Information: The Nordegg area is underserviced by modern standards when it comes to the internet. Therefore wi-fi is not available on site but can be accessed at the library downtown. Pets - with apologies, pets cannot be accommodated inside Cabin1. Housekeeping is self-catered - Daily housekeeping is available upon request for an additional fee. Parking – Ample parking is available.
