About this cabin rental
Nestled in Red River, this lovely cabin for $298 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Ski in/out! Walk to everywhere in town! This centrally located A-frame is right off of Brandenburg Park and the Red River Convention Center with the riverwalk trail running 100 yards behind. Ski in, ski out with the Copper Chair approximately 300 yards away. The separate master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed with full bathroom (including bathtub) across the hall. The loft holds a queen bed, a full bed, large dresser, TV, and 3/4 bathroom. From the loft, you can gaze down at the open layout of the living room and dining room with large windows facing towards the mountain. The L-shaped couch has two recliners and pulls out into a full bed — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Internet-fueled flat-screen tv after a day of skiing. The kitchen is fully stocked with gas range and stove, dish washer, pots and pans, and coffee maker. Bring the family back together after a long day as you gather around the large dining room table that seats eight. Perfect location for all big events in Red River typically held at the park, including enchanted circle bike race, Octoberfest, Aspencade, the classic car show, the Memorial Motorcycle rally, 4th of July parade, beer and wine festivals, and many more! Have the best seats in town, sipping cider from our front porch as you watch skiers and horses fly by during skijoring in the winter. This cozy cabin is the perfect place to stage for all year-round activities!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was fantastic & in a great location! We were able to ski down from the mountain & had the convenience of town in our front yard. The property managers were fantastic when they came to fix our issue, however we were in communication with the property owner & felt that his communication style was unfriendly. We had a minor hiccup at the beginning & with a little more explanation it would’ve been avoided. Overall, would definitely recommend. Thanks for the great stay!

location is amazing… the town is small enough to walk everywhere!!! house is cozy, we definitely stayed warm; i have to throw my 2cents in that it could definitely use some updating with carpet, couch and some shower heads?! coffee maker may need a cleanse or replacement due to slower drip than norm but other than that… we enjoyed every aspect of RR and this lovely A-frame! We’ll be back

We loved staying at this A frame. Everything is truly walking distance.
The kids had fun finding a VHS movie to watch. We did puzzles and played the games that were there. Would 100% stay there again!

Great cabin
We had a great visit at this cabin. The lit across the street is used for four-wheeler rental, and some we're returned late. This was only about because with the warm weather, we had the windows open.
Definitely recommend this cabin.

Excellent All Around!
Very clean, very comfortable, very quaint place near downtown. It was perfect. We parked there and were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We had such a great vacation, we will definitely be back and renting here again!

We enjoyed our stay, even though it was cut a little short due to the Virus. The location is perfect! Close to Copper Lift and close to Downtown. Wifi worked like a charm. Owners were very responsive before, during and after the stay.

Not totally as advertised - not clean and no wi-fi/internet
While this rental is in an ideal Red River location, it was lacking from it's description. We are yearly RR visitors so know the town and area well. We selected this rental due to key things we were looking for, including wi-fi/internet, kitchen, tv and the location...This place said it had everything we were looking for including an "internet fueled flat screen tv", in fact the information repeatedly said they had internet/wi-fi. Immediately after booking and payment I received a message stating that they did not choose to set up the wi-fi but I could go to the RR Visitor Center for free wi-fi. I contacted the owner to express concern as I needed to work while in town. I was assured this was NOT accurate and they had internet/wi-fi as advertised. I probably don't need to say now, that there was NO internet/wi-fi. In fact the only way to watch the small tv was to watch their old VHS or rent an old movie. There was nothing else the tv would do. And the only way to get ANY wi-fi was to walk to places in town. Not at all convenient when negotiating and decision making with clients. I did troubleshooting, and spoke with the owners several times, as well as sending them photos of the modem, and tv screen. They said it had been and should be working. Then they sent a woman over who banged on the door to come in and look. She said she was told we were leaving??
The other reason for the negative mark on review is the cleanliness. This rental needs some serious cleaning. There has been some very basic cleaning done, but the dust and the grime was ever present. None of us would sit on the sofa until we spread sheets across it. Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent to stay here.
The owners did offer $20 per day for not having wi-fi and of course repeatedly told me I could go someplace else to use free wi-fi and it is not their fault. I just found it very odd that I received a message AFTER booking that they did not have the service that they expressly advertised. And yes, I have a screen shot of that message. On vacation, the last thing I want to do is work, but it was necessary. So the second to last thing I wanted to do was to disrupt my time, and cause my family to wait around for me while I went to find the service promised someplace else in town.

Great Trip
My family really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just as advertised. We never used our car once we got there. It was a 30 second walk to the lift. We skied home everyday to the back porch. In the evenings we enjoyed a 2-3 minute walk to main street for dinner. Great place!
