About this condo rental
Located in Henrys Lake, this charming condo for $169 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are taking reservations for the 2024 season starting May 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. We are only accepting vaccinated guests for our protection and our guests protection. Beautiful suite in our cabin overlooking Henry's Lake off US 87 in Island Park Idaho. Cabin is 15 minutes away from West Yellowstone by car and is located 3.5 miles from the US 87/US 20 junction. Easy access to Yellowstone National Park. Excellent fishing, boating and water activities as well as hiking etc. Views of Henry's lake and mountains are beautiful from deck/cabin. The cabin is across US 87 from Henry's lake. There is public access to the lake down the road from the cabin and boat rentals available. Mountain behind cabin fairly wild with elk, deer, bears being seen intermittently. We are renting the first floor of our three level house. The Bedroom in the suite has a queen bed and there is a air hide a bed as well on that level in the living room. We sleep 4 in the suite. There is a microwave and coffee pot , also a refrigerator in the suite itself and a dining table and chairs, sofa and two recliners. We have dishes silverware paper plates, anything you need. There is a wrap around deck with covered patio and barbecue which is accessible to guests. Washer and dryer in the suite is shared with the owners. HDTV .Ample parking for boats and toys. Come stay with us and enjoy the views and Yellowstone Park. WIFI is available for our guests. We also have Bear spray available. We have a two night minimum stay. To protect ourself and our guests I will be checking your vaccination card for proof that you have been vaccinated for COVID-19. We are not accepting unvaccinated guests. Kathy was absolutely wonderful felt like we were family..the best chocolate chip cookies in the west! We will definitely be back to stay and spend more time at Henry’s Lake and explore this area. We spent two whole days in Yellowstone exploring the lower and upper loop. The sites of Yellowstone and Henry’s lake are absolutely amazing along with the wildlife. Only disappointment was not meeting Harry. Thanks for everything Kathy and hope Harry is up fishing and hunting soon. 😘

The host and hostess are absoutely amazing and make your stay very comforatable from the amazing homemade cookies to the clean and comfy private cabin. The view of the lake and mountains are absoutely gorgeous. Just a short drive to the Yellowstone Park West entrance. Hated to leave this cozy cabin.

Kathy and Harry are the ultimate hosts! The chocolate chip cookies are delicious and set the tone for the visit. The property is clean, well maintained, and cozy. The drive to Yellowstone is only about 20 minutes. If you have a chance to book this property, you should jump on it! We enjoyed every minute of our 5 night stay.

This is a wonderful apartment that feels like home. The queen size bed was very comfy. Kathy and Harry are great hosts. Lathy does your dishes for you every morning after you leave. They provide everything you might need to prepare a simple meal, even coffee and tea bags.
Their house is only about 25 min from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the town of West Yellowstone.

Very quiet 1st floor log mountain chalet. The owner's Harry & Kathy live upstairs. Private entrance with a combo door lock. You walk into the dining/semi kitchen/living room area that has a refrigerator with a small freezer, drip coffee maker with filters, microwave, toaster & a round table with 4 chairs. There is not stove or oven, but it was fun finding restaurants for lunch & dinner!
The living room has two recliners and a sleep sofa. The TV is large and swivels from LR to DR. Private bathroom with shower & soft towels, queen bedroom with closet & 4 drawers.
Owner's leave a dish homemade cookies on your 1st day and and bags of microwave popcorn. They provide bear spray, binoculars and a walking stick to borrow for your stay. They will let you use their outdoor grill. Kathy shows you were extra blankets, throws & pillows.
Washer & dryer are in you bathroom and owners use them when you are out exploring. They have detergent & dryer sheets. Shower water has great pressure and heats up fast.
We has many great conversations with Harry & Kathy and they are the most gracious host we have encountered.
The view of Henry's Lake is spectacular. The location is 1/2 hour from West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Beautiful property. Close to Yellowstone but still quiet and secluded. Comfortable furniture. Loved the hand carved bears on the old stumps outside. Great view of the lake. Would definitely book again if we go back

The hosts were fabulous! The cabin is gorgeous, and in such a prime location, right above Henry's Lake. The host had chocolate chip cookies for us when we arrived, and doted over us during our whole stay. So cute.

We had a great stay here. Kathy was a gracious host and provided everything we needed. It is about 20 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance of Yellowstone NP. They provided binoculars and bear spray for our time there-luckily we did not need the bear spray! It was also very nice to be able to do some laundry during our stay.

Kathy had cookies waiting for us when we arrived. They were awesome. The amenities she provided were above what most hosts provide. The house was close to Yellowstone and across the street from Henry Lake and the view was gorgeous. It was a short but sweet stay

Very nice place to crash after visiting Yellowstone and get away from the very touristy town of West Yellowstone. At no fault of the owner the water was off for the first 3 days of our planned reservation, but she worked with us to refund the first 3 days and retain the last 3. The owner provides everything that you would need for visiting Yellowstone. Everything was clean and well organized. We also liked that there were washers and dryers. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

My adult sister and I stayed here for a reunion and opportunity to explore Yellowstone. The view of Henry’s lake with the snow capped mountains in July was every bit as beautiful as Yellowstone , and the house was an easy drive away from the chaos of west Yellowstone town. Had all the amenities of a nice hotel , but so much more relaxed and comfortable. Kathy and Harry were extremely cordial and a joy to work with , but remained unobtrusive unless we needed them.
I would come back here again and again.

Kathy and Harry were incredible hosts! The place is just what we needed—very clean, lots of space, all the necessities. My boyfriend got a bit sick one of the days, and Kathy and Harry checked on him to make sure he was doing alright which was so kind. They also gave us little magnets for souvenirs on our last day. Beautiful view of the Grand Teton mountains from the living room, too. Highly recommended staying here!

The cabin has breathtaking views of the mountains. It is well maintained, very clean and Kathy and Harry are amazing hosts with attention to detail. I had a bunch of questions which they answered quickly and Harry even had some very cool stories for us about the local wildlife. Kathy had some delicious home made cookies ready for us upon our arrival. On our first day there we saw a fox. The location of the cabin is ideal and a short 25 - 30 min drive from the West entrance of yellowstone. They provide binoculars and loaner bear spray so we didnt have to search for and buy it there as it is not allowed on a plane. The nearest supermarket is about the same distance so be sure to plan accordingly. Overall, if we even do yellowstone again we would definitely rent their cabin again. :)

Harry and Kathy were the ultimate hosts. They were outstanding communicators in advance of our visit and greeted us on arrival. They made sure we knew best locations for meals and where to look for local
wildlife. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious. We slept great!!! It was nice having access to a washer and dryer.
We enjoyed spending time with Harry and Kathy on their deck with the beautiful view of the lake, mountains and hummingbirds at the feeders.
We could not have had a better stay and highly recommend these hosts for your stay in the area.

We loved this property! The location is beautiful overlooking a lake. It was convenient to the West entrance of Yellowstone. The hosts were extremely friendly, they even left us home made cookies. The apartment has no air conditioning, but opening the windows at night helped with the unseasonably warm weather (early September). There is a wonderful view of the lake across the highway. Parking is literally at the front door.

We had a wonderful stay in Island Park. Kathy and Harry came to great us as soon as we arrived. Everything was very clean and there wasn't anything that we needed that they didn't already have. It's only a 20 minute drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone.

We were greeted by Kathy and Harry at the door and immediately felt welcomed. Kathy made us some delicious cookies since we were there for our honeymoon. They gave us a quick tour and let us settle in.
The place is clean, cozy, and quiet and right near the lake and about 20ish minutes to west Yellowstone.
