The Stockman's Cottage sits within the tranquil surrounds of Waterloo Station, a historic pastoral property in the New England region of northern New South Wales. Fully self-contained and thoughtfully appointed, the cottage offers a warm and inviting place to unwind, reconnect and enjoy the rhythm of country life.
Overlooking the picturesque Waterloo Range and the quaint Matheson Church, the cottage provides a beautiful setting in every season. Wander the property, play tennis in the homestead grounds, or enjoy swimming and fishing in nearby Wellingrove Creek running throughout the property. The surrounding region also offers charming cafés, galleries, heritage towns and seasonal local events.
Inside, the cottage blends country comfort with old-world charm. Share meals around the farmhouse table, enjoy a BBQ on the veranda, or relax in the cosy lounge beside the slow combustion wood fire. An eclectic collection of country finds creates a welcoming space for gathering with family and friends.
Wi-Fi is available for guests, and the Smart TV offers access to Stan, Netflix and Prime.
During the cooler months, guests may enjoy the wood fire for added warmth and ambience. Firewood is available for an additional heating fee. Awesome spot. Great for families and those with a pet. Relaxing with beautiful outlook. The only thing that greatly lets it down is the bathroom is really needing an upgrade. With the cost of the stay we were expecting better bathroom conditions.

Awesome weekend enjoying the serenity of the station. We fished, fossicked and relaxed by the creeks. Feed the ducks and chickens and generally chilled out. Great weekend. Will be back.Rob and family

Thank you to Deb for a wonderful stay at Stockmans Cottage. The history of the property was so fascinating and we loved staying on a working farm. Highlights were the fishing, picnicking down by the river, farm animals for the kids, and evening BBQs under the starry skies. We hope to return again one day - thank you for sharing this magical place with us.
