Beautiful historic 100 year old neighborhood, surrounded by giant trees, ocean views and stately houses. The bus stop is in front of building on Yakima Ave. Within two minutes by car (or a 15 walk) you are at the best Tacoma has to offer: restaurants, coffee shops, stores, grocery store, the Ruston Way waterfront walking path, the Tacoma Little Theater, downtown, the convention center, hospital, and the Movie Theaters. We had a great stay; property is just as described very clean with all the necessary for a few days stay. Our family of three were very comfortable, easy access, beautiful view, very nice neighborhood, quiet, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We definitely recommend it.

Comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with balcony view of the Sound and within walking distance to Old Town. Located behind historic mansion in an historic neighborhood that is safe, even when walking at night. Convenient parking right in front of the unit, and no steps to climb.

We were visiting to help our granddaughter get settled in for college at the University of Puget Sound. The location of the property was very convenient and the view of the bay from the balcony with morning coffee was great!

Very comfortable, well appointed, quiet condo is in the best Tacoma area. Covered parking, comfortable bed, view of the Sound, even the provided aluminum foil make this a pleasant stay. Ron is a good communicator. If he continues with this Vrbo rental, we will likely stay here again.

I was looking for easy access for my 70 year old sister who has difficulty with stairs. I emailed Ron and he recommended the perfect unit! We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful visit with family living in Tacoma. I spoke with a neighbor renting a unit for a few days and they mentioned being return renters because the place is so nice and convenient!

We used to live in the neighborhood nearby and it was a perfect place for us to stay. Condo was comfortable, clean, well appointed and the view was beautiful! What more could a person need?!

Comfortable condo with a view
We were in Tacoma for a family wedding and this condo was the perfect home base for our stay for our group of 4. The condo is clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of Puget Sound. It is well stocked with basics like paper towels, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, making it easy to just visit with family and explore the area. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and walkable. Ron provided detailed information about the condo, neighborhood and places of interest, and responded quickly with any questions or issues. When we are in the area, we would like to stay again!

Other people we met in the covered parking area were nice and friendly. It was a quiet location. Loved the view of the Puget Sound and the blossoming cherry trees right from our deck, and seeing the great architecture of the old time homes in the surrounding blocks. I grew up in this area so it is so convenient to meet up with family close by and have our own home to go back to. Really fond of the electric fireplace that takes the chill out of the air in the damp Northwest. The host was very responsive to any inquiries I had and provides a lot of information prior to arrival. It was nice to have a designated parking spot. Easy access for checking in. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Fall family visit
This is the second time i’ve stayed at this property. the condo is well equipped, clean and in a great location with a gorgeous view. I come from the east coast to visit family and this is a perfect place to stay and visit.

Property Mgr was great, he was very communicative and easy to work with. The condo was great, close to historical water front area, Point Defiance and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was located in a beautiful neighborhood, nestled between immaculately kept homes. We felt very safe. The view is wonderful, and the condo is clean and well appointed. You can walk to the water in less than 10 minutes. You'll find a cute coffee house on your way. Just a few blocks away is an amazing restaurant/bistro called The Rosewood Cafe. Great food and service! The condo is not far from a local Costco and Safeway. For car buffs, take in the LeMay Car museum which is very close by in Tacoma. We had a wonderful visit and Ron was a very gracious host!

This condo was a perfect place to stay while our home was being built. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is great for walking. The view of the water from the living and dining room was beautiful. Very comfortable unit, good parking and close to everything. Excellent communication with the host. We would stay again.

One of the Best!
We have stayed in several VRBO properties, have always had good experiences. But this property was the best so far. All the comforts of home and then some and Very clean. Excellent customer service, also, I only had 1 question, Ron answered promptly. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Lovely & warm with a view
This was the best condo or apartment my sister and I have stayed at in Tacoma! We come annually for a conference and will stay here again if it's available in a New York minute. :-) The condo is immaculate, the view of the sound is such a plus and the bedrooms are nicely appointed, comfy and clean. It is about 5-10 minutes from downtown Tacoma and also close to the Proctor District, which makes getting around easy. Ron gave us excellent instructions for using everything and recommended some good restaurants. He gets an A++ in our book!

Quiet Tacoma North End
The Elmwood Condo Unit #4 is conveniently located for our North End visits. There are no stairs from the back parking garage and a great view of Commencement Bay from the Yakima St. lanai and spacious living room. There's plenty of room to spread out with two bedrooms and two baths. The full kitchen is nice to have while on the road. We will definitely stay here again.

The intent of my trip was for peace and quiet. The neighborhood was just that. The view, spectacular! The condo is modern and well maintained. Everything one would need in the kitchen is there...fully equipped. The bedding was soft and cozy and the mattress was really comfortable! Furniture in the living room was comfortable as well! Whether you’re staying for a weekend or an extended pieriod of time, this is a prime life cation! LOVED IT!’n

Nice condo, beautiful view. Nice to not to have stairs as one person had a bad knee. Very clean and no problems at all. We were able to get in early which was wonderful as 2 of the guests were arriving from Philadelphia and were ready for a nap! I would rent here again.

Another good unit
I had to switch units because I needed to extend my Tacoma stay. My contact, Ron, arranged for my suitcase and food to be transferred while I was out, which was a great help.
The condo had everything I needed. It was clean and very neat. I appreciate the very secure lock on the door. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!
