Nestled in Midway, this attractive house for $249 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This newly renovated and furnished home is only 3 1/2 blocks from historic Midway's downtown shops and restaurants. Clean, allergy & scent-free space. Hardwood & tile floors throughout. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one w/ a Queen and twin, one w/ two twin that can convert to a King and the Master Bedroom downstairs has a Queen bed. It can sleep seven. There are three flat screen TV's, one in the Living room and one in each bedroom upstairs w/HBO & SEC channels.Wifi Internet Access is provided. The Kitchen/Breakfast room is spacious w/ microwave, coffeemaker & toaster oven. There is equestrian and local art throughout. The porch is charming, relaxing and private with a ceiling fan and infrared grill. On site off street parking with a two car garage. There is a Bakery two doors down and a playground behind. The cottage is located in the heart of Thoroughbred and Bourbon country. Midway is off of I-64, just 20 minutes from Lexington and and hour from Louisville- you can hit every destination on your vacation easily.

We stayed for 3 nights to relax after the holidays. The area was wonderful for us to spend time together.

Comfortable house, quiet location, beautiful country. Location is very convenient to both Lexington and Frankfort. Steve is very friendly, accommodating, helpful. We planned an extra day to explore the area and wished we had longer. We will return for a longer staywhen we get the opportunity.

Absolutely perfect little cottage in horse country. Close to Keeneland for a perfect weekend trip with the family. Beautiful porch and fire pit in the yard. Would 100% recommend. Steve was incredibly helpful with not only the home but recommendations in the area and keeneland tips.

Our family stayed here while moving our daughter in to the University of Kentucky. The location of this property is ideal for anyone visiting bourbon distilleries, horse farms, universities, or the charming town of Midway. The property has a warm homey feel (not the cold white sterile looks to many rentals lately). The owners communicates well and was very accommodating to us as we had a late arrival. He made sure we were able to find his property easily. It was clean and the kitchen seems well stocked although we didn’t prepare any meals. I would recommend this property to friends and would stay again.

Between the bourbon distilleries and the golf courses that we chose to play the location was ideal. The property was everything that we needed and Steve was great. He was there for anything if we needed it.

My friends and I spent 2 nights in this marvelous cottage. The town is quite unique with delicious places to eat, where you can sit outside, if you want to watch those passing by. We sat around the firepit in the evening-great place to sip bourbon :). Location has easy access to the many bourbon sites and tours. I highly recommend staying here, Stephen was a great host, we hope to return..

We had a men's family golf outing for a few days and several of us wanted an alternative to the hotel most were staying at.
This location was perfect as it was closer to both golf courses. We weren't at the property a ton of time but really enjoyed the evenings after golfing talking on the back porch and around the large fire pit.
Steve was attentive and a great guy. Chatted with us a bit but left us alone unless we needed something etc.
The bakery director next door was a nice place to get a breakfast sandwich and soak up the remainder of the bourbon from the previous night 😉

Son's wedding in Frankfort, reception in Lexington. This was not only Midway perfect, it was ideal for family time. The cottage is warmly welcoming and very fun. The sitting areas made for GREAT family visit time. It didn't just accommodate a most important weekend (as a hotel would have), it became part of the memories: the comfortable visiting, fixing meals together, driving through Kentucky's legendary horse farms, the charming shops and restaurants of Midway. And a morning bakery within steps. Almost storybook. If I could change anything, I'd add a full size shower upstairs, but that's the nature (and charm) of an older house. And this cottage is all charm. And great memories!

This was our first time vacationing in Kentucky. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and especially the cottage. Mornings were spent eating breakfast together on the porch. The porch provided a secluded and relaxed space to be outside and to enjoy the surrounding beauty. The cottage was well-stocked, comfortable, and spacious. We felt at home and also enjoyed two dinners downtown Midway which was a pleasant short walking distance from the cottage.
Our host was very gracious and hospitable. He checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything needed.
We highly recommend this cottage and would consider returning if we should decide on Kentucky again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in "The cottage". A quiet relaxing retreat in the beautiful town of Midway. Property provides seclusion, nature, and relaxation. Cabin had many areas to relax with our friends and unwind after a busy day on the Bourbon Trail. Convenient to all the hot spots: Louisville, Lexington, Bardstown and Frankfurt. Buffalo Trace is a short drive for the early morning allocation runs. Steve, the host is very accommodating and responsive. We had a fantastic time and will be sure to return!

Exploring Kentucky
Location was perfect for us. Visited the ark, creation museum, escape room, mall, Buffalo trace distillery, Rebecca Ruth's, bourbon boat tour, winery, zip lining, Malibu Jack's. Bonus was the cat that loved to be brushed. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast every day. Kroger was nearby. Walked to Gibsons for supper one day. Enjoyed the lightning bugs each evening while sitting on the porch

Great stay in Midway!
Very comfortable house and Steve is a great host. Our group of friends stayed here as a base camp for the Bourbon Trail. The location was perfect with near-by restaurants and central proximity to many distilleries. Beds are comfortable, shower is fantastic, and kitchen has plenty of room for meals. Living room and sitting room allow for plenty of space to spread out and relax. Back deck also adds a nice place to sit. Would absolutely stay here again.
