About this house rental
Located in Plano, this attractive house for $625 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This is a breath taking 5 bedroom villa that over looks its own private lake with ducks and turtles. This home is completely renovated and designed by award winning designers. It has three balconies that overlook the lake and the magnificent backyard which includes a stunning heated pool, spa, fire pit and playground for the kids. The back yard has won multiple awards including silver internationally and gold domestically. The house sits on a set of natural springs that have been dredged into small lakes that house all sorts of wildlife most notably ducks and turtles. Five houses away is a beautiful and large park with two playgrounds. The backyard itself has a playground and the house had many seating areas that have the feel of completely separate spaces and experiences. Inside has a transitional decor that is very calming. All areas of the home and backyard are accessible to guests. The lake grounds are private, owned by multiple owners and not accessible to guests. The home is close to many shopping areas, sports venues, and some of the finest dining restaurants. It's central location allows you to access all major highways and roads.

Disappointed Wi-Fi wasn’t working when arrived called manager no response till next day after we had shower issues and hot tub not working. Suppose to use app for running things unfortunately it was not working. Beds less than the best.

Three grown sons with their family along with my husband and myself enjoyed this beautiful and spacious home. With three family gathering spaces and the backyard with hot tub pool and playset the entire family had plenty to do. Not one grandchild said they were bored the entire week!!

We had a small get together for my mom’s 70th birthday and this house was perfect for our family. We had 5 kids under 5 there and it accommodated us all so well! It is just like the pictures and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The host was wonderful to work with, would absolutely stay again!!

We were 9 adults and 2 little ones, most from out of state. The location was perfect for our wedding activities in The Colony and in Carrolton and the quiet neighborhood was restful. The house appears exactly as in the pictures. There were a couple of glitches but the contact person responded promptly and resolved the issues. The outdoor areas are great for adults and for the children. I only have 2 concerns - the front upstairs bedroom closet is inaccessible as the housekeeper's supplies are stored there. A bedroom without a closet has limited functionality. The other concern is that there are 30 plates and 5 forks! We simply purchased plastic forks but it's an odd ratio and we had to send someone to the store last minute since we didn't notice ahead of time. All-in-all it's a great house in a quiet location. I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time at Eldebran’s home. Everything was clean and beautiful. The backyard is perfect for spending summer days by the pool or a cool fall evening by the fire pit.

Our family enjoyed this stay so much. We have 3 littles and having the pool to ourselves was so fun and relaxing. The home is beautiful and we had no problems. The communication with the owners was quick and check-in and out went without a hitch. HIGHLY recommend!

For people reading reviews prior to your booking here are a couple things to know:
-there are a lot of leaves that get in the pool daily. We had to skim multiple times a day.
-there are no liquid measuring cups, only the dry measuring cups. There were maybe 3-4 forks and no teaspoons. So we got plastic cutlery and left all extras behind for the next renters.
-If you have a large family and are going to use the oven then you will need to bring your own dishes/pans. I think there was 1 baking sheet, 1 muffin sheet and one other pan to use in the oven. Pots were fine! But we had 12 people and needed more mixing/large bowls for salad and making homemade mashed potatoes etc.
-Tv upstairs was not hooked up to any digital services but we didn't end up needing it. Kids have ipads now days. Actually, we didnt use the tv's at all.
All that said - we would stay here again! It is tastefully decorated, VERY clean (minus a couple air vent returns and carpet ruins). You won't regret staying here. Plenty of space, lovely home and amenities. Close to a lot of places! Walmart is 2 miles away! There is nearby dunkin for coffee, as well as many shops and food. The house was incredibly nice. The home was beautiful, just right for our family to stay here for a wedding. Somehow it was listed as per friendly and we booked it for that reason. The owner realized afterwards and was very kind and accommodating. Very pleased with this stay. Thank you.

We were in town for a family reunion in Plano and were able to comfortably house multiple adults, children, and infants at the property. The pool and backyard playground area were extremely useful and the features work exactly as described. Elle was extremely responsive as the property host and I would recommend this property for any families looking to stay in this area.

We had a magical stay. The property is exceptional. Multiple social areas. The deck overlooking the canal was our favorite. We saw ducks, a crane, an egret and one of the biggest turtles we have ever seen. Perfect.

We had a great week at this property. The house was very clean and the backyard are was lovely. The pool heater was very efficient and allowed us to swim even on the chillier days. Location was great, the street was very quiet (hopefully our children didn't annoy the neighbors!) and the waterway in the back added a tranquil feel.
I needed a rental for 6 weeks, if this property were available I would have booked it for the entire time!

Family came together for my daughter’s wedding. The home was spacious and comfortable. Everything needed was there. It was chilly, so we were not able to use the the pool or lovely back yard. Enjoyed our stay!

Listen, this property is beautiful. Its in a great neighborhood with easy access to local attractions. The guest manual is very detailed & while the home is absolutely gorgeous, the notes from the owner make you feel right at home & that your kids are welcomed.
The master bedroom is really roomy & has direct access to the backyard. And let me tell you about this bed!!! Oh my goodness! I love my bed at home but I thought about breaking up with it over this bed. I literally almost checked the tag to figure out the brand. There is a little nook under the stairs that our kids loved playing in & even tried to sleep there.
The kitchen is very well equipped & exquisite. We loved the nespresso machine & cooking on the gas range.
These are literally my only "negative" things to say about it: We specifically selected this location for the heated pool.
1)In the listing, there is no mention of a cost to have the pool heated. So my feedback would be to add this & the price to the listing just so anyone wanting to utilize that is aware.
2)We were told by the property manager that it only takes 12 hours for the pool to heat to 98 & it was started at 9 AM prior to our check in. The pool did not reach a reasonable temperature of 89 to swim until about 36 hours into our 48 hour stay. It was cold that weekend, like 50-60 degrees so I understand it can take longer. Its just a little frustrating to spend extra money to have the pool heated for your stay & not really be able to use it.

The TV's are on the small size for the space they are located in. The only TV downstairs in the common areas is not where the sofas are located but where a sitting area is located. The TV had bad snow/pixels on the picture which the owners sad sorry hopefully the other TVs will suffice. Some bed are comfortable but some mattresses are past their prime and need replaced. Considering the cost of this property I wouldn't rent again. This home was perfect for our family. 9 of us slept comfortably- 3 families. Then we had another 9 come on thanksgiving. Parking was not an issue because the home is in a cup de sac. Just sad we couldn’t use fire pit because prior guest broke it. Plenty of plates and seating. Two fireplaces and different areas for different activities.

I want to start off by saying the house is great and is in a great neighborhood. I lowered the stars a bit for a few reasons. First, the pool was absolutely filthy. It was not cleaned and after an hour of trying to clean out all the leaves and dead bugs we kinda gave up although the kids were brave enough to get in. Second, the amenities say the pool can be heated but that was a lie. And third, there was a very weird fly infestation upstairs. I can't explain it but there were 20 big horse flies flying around at any given moment. Very strange. The owners were easy to communicate with when we found a few blinds were broken upon arrival.

We rented this house for my husband's 34th birthday. We invited a few other couples for a relaxing weekend cooking great food and hanging by the pool. I am currently 7 months pregnant and our friends have little ones at home and just wanted a quiet weekend away. I had a great experience communicating with the owner before our stay. Check in was extremely easy and our first impression of the house was great. It was very clean and spacious. Most of us were a bit tired from work that Friday and just wanted to hang on the patio. Only 6 of us were outside that night and at exactly 10:03 PM an officer arrived at the back gate. Apparently there was a noise complaint from a neighbor. We were confused because there were only a few of us out and we were not being loud- the officer agreed that he did not think we were being loud either and he suggested moving inside since the neighbors had an issue. The cop was nice and agreed that this was a silly call, but he was just doing his job so we moved inside without any issues. The next day after dinner decided to go back outside (around 8 pm) to enjoy the pool. Again at exactly 10 pm another cop arrived at the gate. She said she knocked on the front door first because it didn't even sound like there was anyone in the backyard, and yet she was there to follow up on a noise complaint. She told us that we weren't doing anything wrong and she said there was no issue with us staying outside if we would prefer because she did not feel like we were being loud. We decided we would stay outside a little longer, but shortly after that I got a message from the host accusing us of throwing a party and said she would like us to evacuate the premises. We were very confused since we were not throwing a party and the officer confirmed we were not doing anything wrong. Luckily I got a call from the property manager, Robin, a little while later confirming that she spoke with the Sergeant and both cops reported that we were not being loud or doing anything concerning. She apologized and told us we could stay. I never heard anything from the host at all after that which was a bit disappointing. If you are considering staying here just be aware that one of the neighbors clearly has an issue with the VRBO guests and makes it a point to report any activity (even when its completely unwarranted). We still had a great time.. but I wish the host had given us the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions.

Five of us sisters spent a few days in this lovely home, but our enthusiasm came to an end when, on the first morning there, one of us missed the bottom step of the wooden staircase – not surprisingly, because there was no visual separation between the wood pattern on the staircase and the floor.
My sister fractured her elbow and required surgery and follow-up. When my sister respectfully requested a modest portion of some very costly expenses, the host declined, offering only a fraction of the requested reimbursement. In a follow-up email, the host was dismissive and condescending.

I could write a book about this property. Every one of the women who stayed in the house commented separately about how clean the house was. Not one of us has stayed in a VRBO that has been this well taken care of. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. There were plenty of towels, trash bags, coffee, dishes, etc. The living spaces (one off the kitchen) and the living room were perfect for sitting around talking and entertaining. The house was decorated beautifully, and SO nice decided to spend most of our weekend right there. The house wrapped around a pool and outdoor area. The back yard was set up for couples or families. There were seating areas around the entire house to sit outside and enjoy . Plenty of space and BEAUTIFUL. The neighborhood was VERY quiet. The communication and directions for trash, wi-fi, garage door opener, etc. were very clear. The owner of this VRBO is very well organized. There wasn't a question about anything. The cleanliness and comfort of this home made our trip one of the best long weekends I've ever had. It's about 30 minutes from DFW. The house looks exactly like the pictures and it's a great value!
