This property is very nice. Easy way to everything on Ali’i drive. Wonderful security. The unit is nicely furnished and we had every tee needed. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. We will absolutely book this property again.

We stayed in this condo for 16 days and it was fantastic! It had everything we needed, even a closet full of boogie boards, beach toys, a kids size life jacket and even a stroller. The condo had plenty of space and a great view. It could use a few updates (it’s a little dark and the pull out couches aren’t that comfortable...but they never are) but it was a fantastic place, communication with the owner was awesome and we will definitely stay there again!

Great location... Looked like it had everything you might need. We personally never cooked. I did leave some freshly bought unopened bags of salad and other unopened new stuff in fridge. Hope that was okay, I was hoping the housekeeper would take them. I have never rented a VRBO before so I wasnt sure.

The condo was much larger than I had anticipated. The location is the best, right in the middle of all the fun. Very convenient to have the parking so close to the condo. Such a fabulous little gem. Will definitely book again!

Very nice place. No AC, so be prepared for that. Owner requires significant cleaning at check out, so plan for that, as well. Owner easy to get a hold of.

We were very disappointed in our stay. My daughter and son in law slept on the sleeper sofas and got bit all over their torso and legs and arms. Also the bathroom off the bedroom stopped flushing. Contacted the owner and never received any help from him. The rent is very reasonable but we won’t stay there again.

Excellent place for vacation!!!

Excellent place for vacation!!!

In the middle of everything. Close to sandy beaches, shops, restaurants, everything is right there. Kids enjoyed the pool especially when it's lit after dark. There is enough breathe on the 3rd floor to sleep comfortably at night, especially if the door is opened. We spent 2 weeks there and absolutely love it! There is a farmers market with fresh fruits in 3 min walk distance. We were also shopping and Costco and Safeway. There is a number of body boards, mask, fins, snorkels so you don't have to bring your own gear. There were 6 of us sleeping comfortably (3 adults and 3 kids). Parking spot is close enough for us to move stroller back and forth each time.

We wanted to be on the Alii strip and this location is within walking distance of everything. It was warm while we were there, but we opened up windows as recommended by the owners and had a nice cross draft our entire stay. Everything we needed was provided in the unit, which made it really nice. We’ll definitely stay here again when on the Big Island.

The property's location was in the middle of all the restaurants and shops right on ali'i drive but we did not have any noisy nights or days, its a very quiet complex. There is a smaller beach about a 5 minute walk away but if you want to really experience the big island you definitely need a car. Everything we needed was provided in the unit, beach accessories, towels, coolers, etc. There were even snorkel fins, but no snorkel or mask. Property was very clean, we were there for a wedding so there were a big group of us scattered throughout kona and we were the only ones who did not have an ant or cockroach issue which I was extremely happy about! The owner responds very quickly if you have any questions. The building is very secure, elevators are always locked and outside gates are locked after dark so don't forget your key. Just a tip, we had a lot of problems getting cabs so the third day we finally realized Uber is the way to go!

Everything was great. Instructions and directions to the place were exactly as stated. Was nice to have beach towels and beach chairs and umbrella in the unit. Bed was very comfortable...I really can’t find anything to complain about that is major enough to tell anyone about. Internet was surprisingly fast. The place was clean on arrival with some nice extras like coffee and some other extras like tea and sugar. I would like to stay here again some time in the future. Thanks for everything

This condo is very comfortable and is well equipped everything you need (unless you need air conditioning, which I neither need nor want); the wifi is reliable. The location is ideal - easy to walk to anything in Kailua-Kona village. The owner is very good at responding to questions and the arrival information was excellent (except late arrival directions are needed since when the building is locked for the night seems to vary). I hope to return.

GREAT location!

This place is in such an ideal place you can walk to anything in Kona! It also has a dedicated parking spot, which is priceless around the Christmas holiday. The condo has plenty of space and 2 bathrooms (however small) plus a kitchen with just about everything you could ask for. With the bedroom window open and the sliding glass door open we had a WONDERFUL breeze, we even used the light comfortable on the bed. There are signs all over the place saying when your walking down the aisle outside be mindful that you are walking next to folks bedroom windows, needless to say not everyone pays attention to those signs. Having a washer and dryer is priceless, do NOT over pack. The condo will sleep 6, just know that 4 of those people will be sleeping on a pull out couchs in the living room, great for kids. We only encountered 2 minor issues. First there were TONS of instructions for when you arrive and how to get into the building, unfortunately they weren't exactly correct. After being up for almost 24 hours we were very tired when we arrived. We did manage to figure it out but it would be very helpful if the instructions were updated, the back door is locked after a certain hour and the first door you come to inside also requires a key which you don't have when you arrive. The second thing was the vents up at the ceiling were very dirty and could really use a good cleaning! We will certainly stay here again, I loved walking to breakfast and being able to go to a nice dinner in town and walk home after a wonderful day in the sun. It's a fantastic place for a great price.

The condo is old and outdated. The carpet feels dirty. The sink didn't drain in the master. The dryer is slow to dry. The fans are dirty. The pull out bed was miserable. But it was cheap and the location is great. It's good to have a dedicated parking spot.

My family and I loved this place.We had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed walking in Kona the evening without having to use our car. the only little trouble we had was in the beginning, the internet was down. I mailed Michael to tell him and quickly fixed it. The modem had to be changed. If we go back on Big Island we will certainly go back at Michael place.

The property felt a little run down. Hall shower glass doors had hard water stains all over. The master shower tub floor was pretty gross. We had to clean it before using. Kitchen cabinets had a very poor layout. Utensils wouldn't fit in a drawer. Having said the negative it was still nice hearing the waves crash on the shoreline right across the street. Great location for eating and shopping. It is right on the bustling street of downtown Kona. The owner replaced the large TV in the living area promptly when we notified him that it wasn't functioning. The wireless was so slow we stopped using it. Next trip we will stay somewhere else.
