About this house rental
Situated in Willamette Valley, this lovely house for $235 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This large nicely furnished lodge includes a Totem Pole and fire pit on 5 scenic wooded acres, located next to the Willamette National Forest, Fall Creek Reservoir, Sky-Camp and Cascara Campground. It is clean, cozy, peaceful & pet friendly. Enjoy the great outdoors, hiking and fishing without camping! This large woodsy lodge features a basketball court, a music room furnished with instruments, a wet bar with a fridge, sporting equipment, a two car garage, RV parking, two balconies, two decks, a large BBQ, and a large 950 sq. foot meeting room is available for events for an additional fee. A three person Hot tub is also available for a small fee. It sleeps 8 comfortably, and can support 11 guests without the additional meeting room. It is a perfect place for small events, reunions, retreats and summer fun. Bird watching, fishing, hunting, water sports, mushroom hunting, hiking and much more await the eager and excited vacationing family. Since we live right up the driveway (but still out of view) so we can offer quick and helpful tips and support, without compromising the privacy of our guests. Fishing equipment, sports equipment

This cabin was a perfect retreat for my adult sons and us for my 50th birthday. Brian was wonderful to communicate with and the house was warm and ready on time. The drive there around the lake is beautiful and the partially gravel paved road was in great shape, with no potholes. It is a 20-minute drive to the small town of Lowell so be sure to take everything you need with you. We are looking forward to taking a summer trip up there and exploring all around. Thanks for sharing your home with us Brian.

We had a delightful time here. It fit all seven of us adults and kids comfortably. The owners, Brian and Beth, greeted us at the property and gave us a run-through on the amenities (like the hot tub, pellet stove, musicians' room and more). When my SIL realized she had no thyme for a dish, I sent a text to the owners inquiring and they graciously shared some from their home. And the stars at night! A wonderful time thanks to wonderful hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday, and needed a home that was close to my family and lowell. This was perfect. My family was very curious about the rental home in their backyard and came to visit.
Our host was wonderful. He stopped by to see how we were getting along and had a pleasant conversation. Definitely plan to send referrals.

The property was amazing, beautiful, serene. Brian and Elizabeth are really respectful hosts with a unique vacation experience. The music room was a huge bonus. Fishing was awesome, but the catching was lacking!

Close enough to everything we needed to have a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend to anyone, with kids, no kids, girls weekend, perfect for pretty much anyone who loves nature, but wants the comforts of home as well. Thank you again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The check in process was easy and the host was there to say hello. We loved the hot tub even though it was a bit of a cold walk once we got out! The house has a few really nice decks that look out over the property. It was definitely relaxing!

birthday getaway
beautiful house and property, very quite and relaxing, tons of space inside and out, there were 6 of us and we all got to pick a bed that fit us, we got lucky in February the weather was nice with clear sky's and a beautiful view of the stars, i could see the stars from my bed on the main floor in Elsie's suite (: loved it, fell asleep counting stars, of course after a nice soak in the hot tub.

Raven's Rest was overall a relaxing and fun trip away from the city. There were 4 adults (2 couples) & 1 dog, and we stayed for 2 days. We had a great time using the hot tub, the covered deck was the perfect spot to enjoy the view of the trees/stars and still be outside while protected from the rain, and the kitchen/ living room layout was nice and open for visiting and meals. Downstairs is heated with a pellet stove to get you nice and toasty. We didn't use the downstairs very much, but I can see it being useful for larger parties/parties with children. It's a gorgeous property and only wished Oregon wasn't so rainy sometimes so we could've enjoyed some more things like the picnic table and grill, fire pit, and huge lawn. We also got some pretty great burgers and a few drinks to-go about 7 miles down the road at Fall Creek Market & Pizza, which I recommend if you are looking for something casual and close.
Brian is extremely responsive and is very accommodating during your stay for anything you might need. He was especially kind to let us use the music room on short notice and that was really appreciated (we are not professionals by any means, but wanted to pass some time on the rainy day).
My only major complaints were the upstairs bed being very uncomfortable (extremely bowed in the middle... definitely time to replace; we ended up sleeping on the futon mattress laid onto the floor, which worked okay for us, but isn't ideal for someone expecting a usable queen bed) and the bathrooms seemed a little in need of some attention (deep clean, some fixtures need repair/replacement like the toilet seat upstairs).

There were so many spacious rooms in the house for our party to gather. We loved the big yard, giant basement, and back patio. We found the kitchen to be very accommodating and there were plenty of places to sleep and sprawl out.

This cabin is in such a beautiful, peaceful woodsy area! Our family enjoyed the quiet surroundings and our time together. The front porch is the perfect gathering area and the music room was fun to jam in. The home could use some sprucing up, but was functional and rustic. Thank you Brian and Elizabeth!

This property is so much more than described. The house is huge, well equipped, secluded, and has a hot tub and amazing music room available upon reservation. My 13 abd 14-year-olds spent happy times playing guitar and drums together in the music room. It was memory making stuff. During the day we tubed the very nearby (two roads) Fall Creek and explored the lakes and waterfalls nearby. I jogged in the morning on the gorgeous private road and forest roads surrounding the cabin. It was dreamy. There are toys, games, a wet bar with stereo and a great outdoor space including a grill. Bluetooth speaker was available and easy to use for family evenings sharing music and staring at the most amazing sky, free if any light pollution.A deer visits the lawn each night. Finally, the hosts are kind, charming and generous. They showed us around and then vanished. Do not worry about your privacy, it is absolutely respected. We could not be more grateful for our time here.
