About this house rental
Situated in Martha's Vineyard, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great option for your next break. Enjoy this lush and private property set on a quiet street 2.5 miles from downtown Edgartown shops & restaurants and 4 miles from State and South Beaches. Property abuts conservation land in the back (Felix Neck) and is fenced in from neighbors for total privacy on a large lot (2/3 acre). Mature planting and trees (including several hydrangeas), a large deck across the front of the house, and a large grassy yard, make outdoor living a key feature of this home. Inside, you will find a large, light, and modern kitchen with amble cabinet space and counter seating for 4, making it the center of the home. The dining area is open to the kitchen, with seating for 6 people. Kitchen is fully equipped, with all new small appliances, and all pots/pans/dishes, etc. brand new in 2019. Rounding out the first floor is an open living room with relaxing seating options and 52-inch smart TV (Comcast Cable + access to Netflix, Hulu, etc.). Two sliders provide tons of light and provide access to the deck. All living room furniture is brand new for 2019, including a pull-out couch with a comfortable memory foam mattress. Cabinets are stocked with games, puzzles and books for both kids and adults. Up a few steps from the kitchen are the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The Master is private and bright, with access through sliding doors to a private deck perfect for quiet morning coffee. Master has its own bath with tub and shower, and new marble-top vanity. There is also a large closet to store your luggage, which makes for nice separation between the master and the rest of the home. The Master has a brand-new King size memory foam mattress and is made up with fresh white linens for each guest (including freshly-laundered blankets and duvets). Next to the master lies the large guest bath (again with a full tub and shower). The guest bedroom is just beyond the master bath, outfitted with a brand new Queen memory foam mattress. All white linens are also used in the queen bedroom for a fresh hotel-like feel. The kids bedroom lies at the end of the hall (making it a quiet spot away from the main living area). This room features 2 sets of bunk beds (4 total beds) and cute nautical decor. These beds features crisp white sheets and are covered in madras plaid quilts that are freshly laundered for each quest. Kids closet provides additional storage with several shelves and cubbies for storing belongings. Home is perfectly located, on the bike path (~15 minute ride to town) and a 5 minute drive into Edgartown. The quiet neighborhood and well-kept dirt roads are perfect for walks or bike riding, with expansive views across Sengekontacket Pond across to the ocean beach. Felix Neck Wildlife Reserve starts at the back of the property (can walk through the woods to connect to the trail system and Felix Neck’s beach). ~1 mile from the house is the Edgartown Boat Launch on Sengekontacket. Pond is great for clamming, with weekly licenses available at Town Hall.

The house was perfect for our family if 5! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and bonfires in the fire pit were among the amenities we enjoyed. We had no car and rented bikes for the week and wouldn’t do it any other way! We biked to downtown edgartown, chappy, jaws bridge and Nantucket. We also discovered the nearby trails for running and sort cuts to beaches and town. Great dining nearby and easy ubering at night. Can’t wait to return to the island!

Perfect location for weekend getaway. Owner was very responsive and super helpful. Property was clean and outfitted with all necessities, and was only a short drive to restaurants and downtown.

It's a lovely house in a spot that feels very secluded and private but at the same time is very convenient to the main road from VH to Edgartown. Enjoyed the peace and quiet on the large deck evey night and morning walks along the salt pond without the worry and noise of cars. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and the house is spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It definitely exceeded our expectations and we would book again in a heartbeat.

Martha’s Vineyard is beautiful and so was this house. It was exactly what we needed, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. It even has an outdoor fire pit. Edgartown was nice and quiet and we enjoyed our morning walks around the neighborhood.

There were no openings to get our car over, so we used Taxi's, Uber and VTA buses(Vineyard transit authority). The buses were very clean and we made the best of it, but having the house be a bit off the beaten path and not having a car was a bit challenging. I would recommend that travelers to the Vineyard reserve the car ferry well in advance so that there are no surprises. Overall we enjoyed our time by doing lots of walking, sightseeing and eating seafood!

Jennifer is a great host and timely communicator! The house is very well equipped and may I add decorated wonderfully!

Pure Perfection!

Great Thanksgiving stay
This place was perfect for my family and my cousin’s family, 4 children and 4 adults. The kids loved the bunk beds. Everything was great for our short stay during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Everything about the property was exactly as described and depicted. Extremely clean and in pristine condition. Private and quiet residential area. A lovely spot for a girlfriend getaway. A car or at least a bicycle needed for transportation to/from Ferry.

Great house, sparking clean with central location and tons of privacy. Stylish interior with no clutter or outdated furniture/decor. House was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen in addition to beach chairs, toys, etc. Loved not having to bring linens. Exactly what we were looking for! Owner very helpful with planning activities, etc.

Very nice house in great location
Our family of four stayed for three nights but would absolutely stay again. Love the house, layout, decor and wonderful mattresses. Very clean and comfortable, close to Edgartown but also within biking distance of Oak Bluffs and grocery only a little more than a mile. Yard was lovely for kids, has fun swing and room to run. Enough pails and shovels for beach. Lovely deck and grill. We rented bikes nearby but there are a few usable bikes at the house as well. easy to reach owner/manager if needed but no complaints whatsoever! Highly recommend for families or group of friends.

Perfect weekend getaway!
This house was perfect for a weekend away with friends. Property itself was gorgeous and had a large deck/yard where we had breakfasts each morning. The outdoor shower during the day and the fireplace when it cooled down at night were definite highlights. Just a short drive away to all restaurants and beaches. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home!
This is a beautiful & immaculately kept home with a very nice deck and yard in an ideal location that allows quick access to Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown. Everything inside is just about brand new and worked as expected with no fuss. We (4 adults) thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend there and hope to return in the future.

Very nice house
Highly recommended, wished it was summer! Very well maintained with nice decor and comfortable new furniture. Enjoyed having the open kitchen and breakfast bar for the kids. Kids also loved the bunk bed room. Very good proximity to Edgartown center where we spent most of our time (eating, movies, etc.). Owners were very communicative and easy to work with.

Loved it!
Spent an early fall weekend at this house with my husband and 3 kids and we all loved it. Location is wonderful with access to the pond and Felix Neck for trail walking. Also very close to town and Stop & Shop for grocery runs. Plenty of space for everyone and especially loved the large kitchen with seating. everything was brand new and in great shape inside. We loved the beds and reached out to ask the owners what brand of mattress they use!

really nice house
Very happy with this house! From the moment we drove up we knew we would enjoy it. Had a great fall weekend in Edgartown and would love to come back in the summer. Everything was super clean and felt like the owners made an effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Comfy beds and loved that all the sheets and towels were fresh and white.
