About this house rental
Located in Tisbury, this attractive house for $375 per night is a great choice for your next break. This professionally designed & decorated vacation home is great for a quiet get away for one or two couples/families or for a multi-generational family vacation. Located on a quiet dirt road, you'll be away from the noise of downtown Oak Bluffs, but still only a ten minute walk from all the action! Jetty beach is also less than a mile away, so getting there by car, bike or foot is easy. There are two master suites on the second floor both offering luxurious king beds and an additional bedroom with a queen bed. Master suite 1 has a private bath while master suite 2 has a private access to a shared bath, and a home office (complete with wifi and printer/scanner) should you need to get any work done during your week away. And, if the weather should get too hot & muggy, you'll still sleep soundly with the central air conditioning! For your convenience, a full sized washer/dryer is located on the second floor. The first floor has an open concept design which is perfect for entertaining, with beautiful cherry hardwood floors throughout. The dining room has a large, casual custom designed table with seating for 8, the living room is generously sized, light and bright and beautifully decorated. It has a rustic beach stone fireplace with a raised hearth, in case the nights get chilly and you'd like to cozy up by the fire. The kitchen has custom cherry cabinetry, granite tops and two sinks -- plus all the cooking supplies you could ever need to whip up a quick breakfast or a gourmet dinner! There is also a lovely, small powder room and 'mud' space to leave your coats and sandy shoes. Off of the living room is a large, mahogany deck with a seating area, all under a retractable awning to keep you cool, as well as a stainless gas grill. On the patio is a handmade reclaimed redwood table and chairs (seats 12) four adirondack chairs and a fire pit, and best of all -- a wood fired pizza oven! The outdoor space is very private, comfortable and spacious. Behind the garage is a bike rack that can hold up to six bikes. And no beach house is complete without a great outdoor shower to wash off the beach sand -- and breathe in the fresh vineyard air while you get clean! We even provide beach chairs for your use on the island. For those lazy evenings, head down to the basement, get comfortable on the large sectional sofa and watch a movie on the 55" TV! There's plenty of room to spread out for the whole family! Concerned about what to do on a rainy day? The basement playroom is chock full of puzzles, games, legos, arts & craft supplies -- keep those little hands busy while you relax, read a book or take a nap upstairs! Right next to the playroom is a large bunk room with three sets of bunks beds and a full bath -- the kids will have their own slice of heaven (and so will you, since it stays nice and quiet upstairs!).

Oh, Martha's Vineyard, you had me at "Hello Summer!" But you had me wrapped around your little island finger when we found this vacation rental gem in East Chop, Oak Bluffs.
Let's start with the kitchen, shall we? I mean, seriously, I haven't seen a kitchen this inviting since my grandma's house, and she could whip up a mean batch of cookies! From the moment we stepped in, I knew we were in for a culinary adventure.
Now, I'm not saying we spent the entire vacation in the kitchen, but let's just say that if the Food Network ever decides to film an episode here, I'm ready for my close-up! I made pancakes that would make a professional chef weep with envy. And when it comes to lobster rolls, I may have achieved a level of perfection that rivals the island's sunsets.
But the magic didn't stop at the stove. Oh no! This cottage came with an outdoor space that practically begged for a sitcom montage. There were these charming Adirondack chairs where I spent my mornings sipping coffee and plotting my day's adventures. And when the sun dipped below the horizon, I found myself by the fire pit, toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starry sky. The outdoor dining area was equally impressive-grilling seafood was a delight.
All in all, this vacation rental cottage was an absolute delight. If you know how to read a map and don’t mind a dirt road— you will find a getaway that combines gourmet cooking and outdoor relaxation. Clean, updated, with great communication.

This property is exactly as depicted in the images! We used the fire pit almost every night- it had an incredibly clean burning pit called a Solo stove- clean burning meaning once it gets going- very little smoke! We are actually first time renters but long time Island visitors so we were very nervous about using VRBO but we were immediately put at ease. Great cool AC, wonderfully decorated home and we felt welcomed by the host and treated very well. We are already saving our pennies to go back again next year. A great family house managed by a great family!! Did we mention the outdoor shower? It's awesome!! Thanks again to our hosts we we can't say enough about this perfect home.

We had five adults and one child, but this house would be great for families with more children -- we didn't use the bunk room at all. My daughter enjoyed spending time in the basement, and the adults had plenty of space to spread out on the main floor. All the bedrooms were large. The outdoor space was beautiful. We were there in October, and nights were peaceful and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again.
Super convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs -- driving had us downtown in 5ish minutes.
We had a lovely stay. If I was being picky: the pillows were super soft, which isn't my favorite. The Avenue is unpaved and upgraded and would be tough to navigate if your car doesn't have a fair amount of clearance (obviously not within the owner's control, but I was glad we carpooled because I couldn't have made it in my Corolla).

Our experience was amazing. The house was so clean and very, very well stocked. It was a short walk into Oak Bluffs and the other houses around were very quiet. I would highly recommend this rental!!!

We had the best time at this house!! Was the perfect size for our entire family of 6 and a friend too!! I think our favorite part was the fireplace in the living room!! There was the perfect amount of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax!! It was also so close to our favorite town-Oak Bluffs!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!

The house is lovely and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to downtown Oak Bluffs. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. The place was clean and well cared for with a beautiful outdoor living space. It’s perfect for families or larger groups. Highly recommended rental!

Three couples escaped Seattle smoke fir the month of October. We enjoyed the large rooms and king sized beds and fast internet so we could all keep working. Also enjoyed the location in the historically Black section of MV. We took the walking tour of the neighborhood.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brenda & Dave’s home in East Chop! When our wedding was postponed due to COVID we still wanted to find a nice home on the island to celebrate the week with our family and friends. This house was perfect - enough rooms and beds to fit everyone comfortably and everything you could possibly need in the house! The backyard was our favorite part - we made pizza multiple nights in the pizza oven and the fire pit was just what we needed for the colder September nights. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future!

This home is just a beautiful property and exactly as advertised. Everything one needs is provided and a perfect COVID vacation as we stayed in and cooked almost every night. Lovely backyard setting and so close to walk into Oak Bluffs for early morning coffee. The house is super comfortable as half of our family actually had to work the whole time we were here, and WiFi worked well. While we had adult children w us this home is great for kids of all ages. The Bryan’s were easy to communicate with and we really hope to come back next year. Highly recommend!

We had a family gathering in this lovely home. Kids had the lower level to have fun. Kitchen was very well equipped. The weather wasn't conducive to enjoy the outdoors, maybe next time.

Our group of 8 sisters / cousins had a wonderful relaxing visit to Oak Bluffs. Brenda and David Bryan’s house with its open concept first floor allowed us to enjoy meals together in the large dining table where we also played card and put together a puzzle. Enjoyed watching World Series together. Found everything we needed to prepare and serve a few meals The whole house was clean and comfortable with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The weather was awesome in 60’s which allowed us to enjoy morning coffee on the deck and patio areas and we also took advantage of the fire pit in the evenings as we chatted and reminisced and enjoyed a glass of wine. What we loved the most was the location. It is on a dirt road as described. We so enjoyed our walks into town less than a mile away. Took beautiful pictures with the fall foliage.

This home was perfect for our family reunion over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is spacious, clean, and so well appointed that it made all of us feel "at home". We found everything we needed to prepare our holiday meals, build a cozy fire, and catch up on our lives. We were disappointed that the weather prevented us from utilizing the outdoor amenities as it holds three unique gathering areas. The location is private yet just a short walk to town. David and Brenda were in contact during our stay to ensure that all was well. We highly recommend this home for your Vineyard getaway!

My family had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. It was fully appointed with everything you could need for a vineyard vacation, beach chairs, fire pit, stocked kitchen, close to town etc. The patio was our favorite spot to relax, providing complete privacy for a serene afternoon. The downstairs bunk room and play/TV area were well loved by the children. We'd love to return again!

We truly enjoyed our September stay! The home is perfect for a family/families with kids. It has a GREAT space downstairs for kids with a playroom, bedroom with multiple bunk beds and it's own bathroom. The outdoor space is cozy and private. This home has a ton of extras you don't always find in a rental - pizza oven (makes the BEST pizza), multiple king size beds, laundry, updated kitchen and baths...etc. It is clear this is the owner's vacation home, not just a rental property and that makes a difference. The house is a bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) from downtown Oak Bluffs, but we found it very doable. If renting off-season , you can also find parking easily if you'd rather drive. We only travel to MV off-season and have been in September several times. I highly recommend off-season travel to the Island. Getting on and off the island is easy, you can get a table at any restaurant, you can easily walk through town with a stroller without fighting crowds and the weather is still beautiful!

Let me start by saying the house is beautiful and exactly as listed in the ad. Although the outside living space is far more beautiful than the photos convey. The property is in the perfect location to everything Oaks Bluff has to offer. The owners gave us all the information well in advance of our trip to make our stay as comfortable and efficient as possible. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for the weeks stay. Would definitely book this property again.

This property was as described, very clean and was in walking distance of downtown Oak Bluffs, restaurants and beaches. The inside and outside of the property were just as they were in the pictures, if not better. The owners were nice and helpful and kept their property spotless. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This beautifully appointed home has everything you could possibly need. It is wonderfully secluded on a dirt road surrounded by greenery yet accessible to a local beach a few blocks away. The owners were always available via texts and were very helpful. The patio area at the back of the home is glorious and takes advantage of nature with all the natural wood and stone. There was restful quiet yet you were within just a short few blocks to the life of any island community. I would recommend this home to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bryans' home this August. The layout was perfect for two families with kids vacationing together -- each couple had their own master suite upstairs, and all the kids thoroughly enjoyed the expansive, well-stocked playroom, bunk-bedroom, and kids bathroom downstairs. The kids had a week of slumber parties, while the grownups had a week of peace! We also loved the beautiful outdoor space, where we enjoyed morning coffees, evening dinners, and late-night s'mores around the fire pit. The whole house is immaculate and beautifully decorated -- we are counting the weeks until we can go back!

We've been vacationing on the Vineyard for 5 years - mostly in East Chop. - and in a new rental location each year. Every year, there's something we wish we had (a little more space, beds bigger than twins for adults, a bit better kept house...). This home gets it all right; we've finally found "our place" for the Vineyard. It offers the comfort and convenience of being easily accessible to Oak Bluffs (just a few minutes drive or a 10-15 minute stroll through shaded back roads). It's set on a very quiet dirt road, making it perfect for our family with young children playing in the side yard. The house is immaculately kept and exceptionally clean. Owners are communicative and responsive. The bedroom suites were phenomenal for our 3 adult couples and the basement play space perfect for our small children to enjoy some wind-down time or spend a rainy afternoon. The patio speaks for itself - awning, great seating, fire pit, generous table and chairs for outdoor dining, and an incredible pizza oven. You won't regret a stay here.

I'll start with the basics. This is a well appointed house that has everything you might need for a family vacation. It is clean and inviting and you can walk to the beach and town. This past spring, Brenda and Dave added a full outdoor living space which brags a comfortable seating area with an awning. (My family's favorite napping spot) together with a fire pit and yes, wait for it...a wood fired pizza oven. Let's not forget the outdoor shower, basement bunk room and playroom for kids. As the mother of four, I know when a house works and when it doesn't. THIS HOUSE WORKS! Take the stress out of your family vacation and rent this house.

We have been staying at this house for the past 3 years, but the new patio added this year is our new favorite! It's always been a clean, comfortable and easy house, but now we have real room to spread outdoors. The comfy furniture and new awning over the deck is a fantastic place to sit and read, so quiet and cozy. And the pizza oven? Holy cow! We had the whole family churning out the most delicious creations, what a fantastic evening! We even made a s'mores pizza that was a big hit with the kids. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, maybe next year? Thanks again for such a great addition to an otherwise perfect home!
