About this condo rental
Situated in West End, this attractive condo for $131 per night is a great option for your next trip. Location, location, location!! A little piece of paradise right on beautiful Mangrove Bight in Roatan's West End. This modern one bedroom suite was recently renovated to include a full kitchen, new furniture in the living area, renovated bathroom, and an expansive private covered outdoor space right on the water. We provide kayaks and a paddleboard for guest use, the bay in front of the property is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding! The suite is in the lower floor of our home Casa Amarilla where we would love to have you come and be our guests! The location is very quiet as it is nestled between the mangroves right on the bay, yet it is only a short two minute walk to the heart of the main tourist area of West End. No need for a rental car with plenty of top notch restaurants and dive shops, and the beautiful swimming beach at Half Moon Bay right down the road. The suite is 630 sq. ft. including a large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, and living room with full kitchen. The large covered outdoor space right on the water has just been expanded and completed with porcelain tile. You also have access to our private dock which is perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, or watching the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. The added convenience for divers is that you don't have to hike your gear to and from the dive shop as they provide pick up and drop p off service right from our private dock! Cable and high speed internet are included. We want to make your stay with us relaxing, care free and enjoyable. We provide pickup service to and from the airport for stays of 7 nights or more, and are happy to offer assistance with booking activities during your stay with us. What does the ideal tropical vacation mean for you: diving the world's second largest coral reef, sunbathing on one of the world's top beaches, zip lining through the jungle, paddleboarding in beautiful tropical waters, world renowned sport fishing, happening night life, or simply relaxing in paradise? My wife and I stayed here for a week and had a great time. The unit was comfortable, close to many shops and restaurants. Mark and Deanna were great hosts and made us feel at home. We can’t wait to go back.

Our stay in September was amazing. It started with Deana setting up a pickup for us from the airport. the driver was waiting and ready. plus he stopped at the grocery store on the way so were set to go. Deana and Mark met us when we arrived and got us set up with the code and answered all of our questions.
The place is beautifully, clean and right on the water. Plus a huge bonus is that they have a UV filter so the water was safe to drink. Huge convenience. The place had all of the things we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. Also the grill was excellent and we used it at least 5 nights.
The snorkeling at the entrance to the bay was excellent, however i recommend that you tie the kayak or paddle board to your ancle to make it easier for the boats to see you.
the location was amazing. a 4 minute walk to east end and a ton of bar/restaurants. also a 4 minute walk to a water taxi to get you to West Bxperience. Your review can help guests looking for their next getaway.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Amarillo. Our hosts Deanna and Mark were wonderful. The unit was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The view off the back and from the dock was amazing. We enjoyed frequent hummingbird visits and the waves of butterflies flying west at sunset. It is a very easy walk to half moon bay where there are many restaurants and bars, but when you get back it is very calm and quiet until the roosters crow and you can start a new day. Enjoy paddling in the beight. We sure did!

The property was a perfect vacation getaway for us. It is secluded and quiet but close to everything in West End. The hosts were super nice and friendly. The transportation provided to and from the airport was the icing on the cake for us.

We spent two weeks at Casa Amarilla and loved the property. It was well designed and perfect for two people. The yard was beautiful, well maintained and the view on the bay was very relaxing. Restaurants and the half-moon bay were at a walking distance from the property. Deana and Mark were extremely helpful and very patient with our questions. We highly recommend the Casa Amarilla to anyone who want to spend a comfortable and yet quiet time in Roatan.

Quiet location but easy walk to West End and walking distance from some great restaurants. Betty gave us a great mini tour to help us get acquainted with the area. We really enjoyed our 3 week stay at Casa Amarilla. It was our 2nd trip to Roatan and we wanted to explore more of the island, dive, and relax. While Casa Amarilla is very close to West End, it is far enough away that you don't feel like you are in town. Very quiet serene landscape with areas for sun & shade with a great dock for stargazing. The space is well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts, Mark & Deana, were great with all sorts of recommendations and were very responsive. We are already making plans to come back & stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Amarilla. It's so quiet and peaceful, it's hard to believe the main tourist area is just a few minutes walk down the road, with lots of great restaurants and shops. Cafe de PaIo and Loretta's are fantastic and just steps away. Wave's Art Gallery is worth checking out for great local art. Lots of places to grab a bite and a drink as you watch the sunset over the water. It was always so nice to come back and relax on the dock after being out all day.
Mark and Deana are perfect hosts. I am so glad we finally made it out to Roatan after our 2 year delay.

Island Paradise
This is absolutely perfect fir a couples get away. Its very sucluded, with a gorgeous view. The gardens are amazing. We saw iguanas, what his, and chickens on the property. An added bonus is that it's just a few minutes walk to the West End area where all the dive shops, restaurants, grocery stores and souvenir shops are. The West End beach in front of Ginger's is great for a short snorkeling experience. Ginger's and Loretta's have great food. Mark and Deanna are always smiling and gracious host. We can't wait to come back next year.

The actual property is perfect for a couple, no more. The bed is very comfortable. The cable and internet were more reliable than what we have in Wisconsin. We really didn't use the cable all that much, but it worked great when we wanted to settle in for the night. The kitchen is well equipped. Bottled water is plentiful and appreciated on the property.
Note- Cash is King on this island. Since the beginning of the pandemic, many small businesses have opted not to continue their use of credit cards. I was not fully prepared for this. We had enough cash for what we needed, but really could have used more. Our primary reason for the trip was to SCUBA dive, but when we wanted to do other things we had to pass this time. This gives us another reason to return to Roatan.

Mark and Deana were wonderful hosts and their property is amazing. Perfect combination of seclusion and accessibility. When my husband and I would walk back to the house from town, it felt like entering a secret oasis. Lots of outdoor space to relax.
Inside, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of drawer and counter space to unpack and feel at home. The airport pickup and grocery store stop was an added luxury!

The location is great, the house has its private dock to a really peaceful bay. And it’s 5mins walk distance to the center/busy area of west bay, yet, super quite where it’s at.
The room is really comfy, has everything you need for the stay. Deana and Mark are very helpful as well. Will definitely be back next time!

The property and location is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better host. The grounds are meticulously cared for, with an abundance of well maintained local flowers and trees. You are far enough away from town that you are not disturbed by the nightlife, but close enough to walk there in about 5 minutes. The hosts have a wealth of knowledge about the island, and are eager to share it with you. I can't say enough about the overall experience, except I wish we could have stayed longer. I will be returning as soon as I can, and hopefully, there is a vacancy for me!

Casa Amarilla is a 3 minute walk to Half Moon Bay beach, West End businesses and Seagrape Plantation Dive Shop. The accommodations were secure, private and very comfortable with the comfy king size bed, ceiling fans and AC. We enjoyed the kitchen and its amenities. Thanks to Mark, Deena and John for their hospitality and knowledge of the island! We will be back!

That is the word that kept coming up during our 2 week stay. The Unit is perfectly equipped to make your stay Comfortable. The location is the perfect blend for West End Walkability vs. Privacy (No Car Needed). The added Bonus of Daena arranging our Pick-Up and Return to and From the Airport (including a Grocery stop at Eldon's) was greatly appreciated. My wife and I are already discussing our return to Roatan for another stay at Casa Amarilla!

Well, this home provided the quiet and rest I was longing for and yet offered a 5 min walk unto the main street with its shops and dinning experiences.

One bedroom perfect for A couple
Great location. Quite yet very close and walkable to town beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor seating area that is covered so you can enjoy even when raining or just want to get out of the sun. Beautiful evenings sitting on the dock with a cocktail. Good quality internet. Thankful for the pick up and grocery run. Deanna was very pleasant and responded quickly to any questions. BBQ in site. Great snorkeling from the beach at half moon beach, west bay beach and sandy bay. The reef if spectacular. There is boat traffic depending on where you are so have something to identify yourself . Great restaurants in the area..... some are very small and require reservations. Really unnecessary to rent a car
