The listing is accurate as far as what you see is what u get. But the house is in desperate need of some TLC. Feels like it has not been rented in 6 months+. The area is to far from downtown and the neighborhood has nothing to offer as in food, drinks, ect. Pool needs a new lining. Couldn’t or didn’t want to use the pool because the next door neighbor decided to remove the privacy fence. That was no more the 3ft from the pool.

We were just there for a few days and it was perfect for us! Great neighborhood and not far from conveniences. The only thing that I could say was wrong, was bad WiFi service. For us that wasn’t a problem though.

I would just like to say that we really enjoyed our time in New Orleans and the house was a place away from home everything was what we expected. The house was clean well organized Wanda the property manager checked on us frequently and told us to call for anything which we didn't because there was any complaints we definitely will be back to this house again

This home was excellent, decorated just like the pictures. The home is very spacious and clean and accommodated our 6 well. We enjoyed the patio area, but did not get a chance to experience the pool, definitely will next time. Kitchen was missing a a couple of things extra for cooking (i.e. butcher knife set and additional skillets); however, we worked it out. This by all means is not a reason to book this property. Ms Wanda is jewel, very warm and nice. She made me feel like family and I had never met her before. Ms Wanda was attentive to our needs and was available for my phone calls. Catching Uber and Lyft was a piece of cake and you may want to consider those options when headed to Bourbon or the French Market. If I travel to NOLA again with a group, I would most definitely reserve this property if available. Major Manor "babe" 😉�

My husband, my-self & our Aunt, had the pleasure of staying at ‘Major Manor’. We were warmly welcomed and honestly made to feel very much at home by the owner, Wanda. From the first phone call about making reservations to checking out and everything in-between, we felt that Wanda genuinely cared greatly about our stay as well as our overall well-being. Wanda went out of her way to make sure we were well cared for, that all of our questions were answered and that we felt truly special. She is truly genuine. She treated us like royalty and we would consider her part of our family! I am some-what OCD when it comes to clean. I was beyond delighted with the appearance and exceptional cleanliness of the house. Refreshing! Welcoming! Professional! Genuine! Caring! Relaxing! Pleasant! Superb! Adjectives to describe the excellent service of Wanda could continue for pages. And that is simply because our stay was one of and possibly the best, most relaxing, quality experiences we’ve ever had with lodging. The rooms and overall property are all beautifully decorated and were in immaculate condition! We would go back in a heartbeat! Bravo, Wanda! You deserve all of the high rankings and reviews you’ve earned, and we’ll recommend you to everyone we know!

Mrs. Wanda house in New Orleans was the most beautiful home you would ever see. It felt like we was right at home . She made us feel more than welcome she is amazing . She greeted us at the house always as making sure we were comfortable. It was our pleasure to stay in the house. Definitely will be back.

Me and my family stayed here on vacation and it was wonderful! The house was beautiful and in a very quiet neighborhood. About a 20 minute drive to the French Quarters. Wanda, the owner, was a great host! Whenever I come back to New Orleans I will definitely be staying at The Major Manor!
