About this house rental
Located in Falmouth, this charming house for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Your beach house awaits! Easy walk to Falmouth's beautiful beaches but nestled far enough off the road to relax peacefully. The home is located just two blocks from Falmouth Harbor where you can watch the boats and fish from the end of the pier. Also, if a trip to Martha's Vineyard is on your wish list, look no further; the Island Queen boat departs just a two-minute walk from our back door. No worries about parking or missing the boat! The home is also within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We take pride in our home and continue to make improvements year after year. In 2012, fresh paint (interior and exterior), new flooring, updated lighting, new bed linens and professional furniture cleaning. In 2013, we added a new Weber gas grill perfect for summer cook-outs. In the 2014 season, we added a front loading, high-efficiency washer and dryer as well as two new twin beds. The outdoor shower was added in 2016 for the perfect way to rinse off after a beautiful beach day. In 2017 the dining room table was replaced, and in 2018 the living room furniture got a boost with a leather recliner and cozy pullout sofa. 2019 brought an exterior face-lift with a new stone driveway, cedar shingle siding and a new shed to house all the fun outdoor games. Last year we invested in the landscape with new plantings. We take good care of our property so that you can relax and enjoy every minute! Details about the accommodations: Two-story home sleeps 4-6 with two bedrooms (upstairs), full bath, eat-in kitchen and pull-out queen sleeper sofa in living room. Kitchen includes dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave and all the amenities for your dining needs. Full-size tub in bathroom for ease of bathing little ones. Bedrooms feature one queen bed and two twin beds with window air conditioners in both rooms. Living room has comfortable seating for six with entertainment options including a flat-screen tv, DVD player (assorted movies available), iPhone docking station, board games and puzzles. Home is equipped with cable and wireless internet access. The house is situated back from the road so you can freely enjoy the outdoor space. The backyard includes an outdoor eating area and gas grill. The large sunny front yard is perfect for frisbee, soccer, or relaxing in the evening with the cool ocean breeze. For your added convenience, we provide beach chairs, coolers (several sizes), beach toys, boogie boards and a wagon to easily bring your gear to/from the beach. We love our little spot of Cape Cod bliss and hope you do, too! Wonderful vacation at this charming VRBO! The location is ideal – an easy walk to the beach and harbor, as well as to several restaurants and shopping at Windfall Market. The home was clean and well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and I appreciated having linens, towels, and beach chairs provided as I was traveling by air. Communication with Amanda while preparing for my arrival was great.
As a former Falmouth resident with family in the area, I visit often and would not hesitate to stay at Amanda and Seth’s again. Thank you for sharing your home with me!

This cute home was just right for our Cape Cod (25th Anniversary) trip. We found everything we needed to make some meals in the kitchen. The furniture was comfortable, linens soft. The beach is just a walk down the street. Shops are close enough to walk. The home was the perfect location for us to see and do everything in Cape Cod. We drove to Provincetown to visit lighthouses. We took a ferry to Nantucket. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard is just down the street, which was really convenient. We even took a day trip up to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail and stopped in Plymouth on the way back. This house is in a nice, quiet area, but close to lots to see and do. WOW WOW WOW! Amanda and Seth’s cottage truly felt like home to our family of 4. This is the perfect place for a small family with kids. We spent one week in the cottage with our young children ages 3 and 5.
Location is amazing! We walked to the beach every day within 7-10 mins. Walk to the end of the street and you’re there! We also walked 3 mins down the road to the Island Queen ferry for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Super convenient and fun!
The cottage is impeccably clean, probably the cleanest property I have ever rented from VRBO. The home had literally everything we needed for our stay. Toys, games, beach toys, and even a beach wagon for the kids. The cottage was also fully stocked with a coffee machine, coolers, toaster, blender, and every pot, pan, and utensil you’d need to cook a nice meal at home. The beds were comfy, there were lots of beach and bathroom towels, and never a shortage of hot water.
The outdoor shower was amazing. I don’t think we showered indoors once. The front lawn is massive, perfect for kids and games. The backyard was private and quiet. There’s a picnic table out back to enjoy your meals.
Pictures and reviews don’t do this gem justice. Both Amanda and Seth were super prompt with messages and all communications prior to our stay. Thank you both for your recommendations, hospitality, and the Cape Cod chips upon arrival. We cannot wait to come back next summer!

Beautiful home, so comfortable and inviting. Everything we needed to enjoy a week on the Cape was included. A short walk to the beach, and easy to pull the included wagon with beach chairs and boogie board and cooler. Easy walk to coffee shops and cafe, shopping conveniently located as well. The large front yard hosted many games and we had a great bbq when my local family came out to see us for an evening. Owners were extremely helpful and responded immediately when I had a minor issue. Could not recommend this home more highly and I definitely plan to return!

Charming cottage for a great stay
This place was perfect for our small family of 3 making our first ever trip to Cape Cod. Great location, close to the beach and walking distance to most of the restaurants in Falmouth. We loved spending time in the yard and grilling meals out back. The home had everything we needed.

My husband and college age children relaxed for a week at Amanda's little cottage in early June. The VRBO photos and descriptions are very accurate -- clean, well-stocked, comfy beds, and best of all a great location! We left the car parked most of the time because the location is so good that we didn't need it much for local activities such as going to Falmouth Heights Beach, renting bikes for the Shining Sea bike path to Woods Hole, getting a morning coffee, grocery shopping at upscale Windfall Market, catching the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and visiting downtown shops. Falmouth was a great location on the Cape as well because it allowed us to easily enjoy day trips to Boston, Plimouth Plantation, and Newport. We will be back! Thank you Amanda for sharing your little piece of the Cape with us!

Fantastic Home!
Myself and 3 of my children spent just short of a week here early this summer. What an amazing home, quiet safe neighborhood, quick walk to the beach. The little wagon to pull the chairs was such a great help. We saw some bunnies, played some wiffle ball and cooked out on the grill every night! Kitchen ad everything we needed and then some. We cannot wait to come back!

Perfection!
Spent 5 days in this lovely home for a great Cape Cod vacation. Amanda and Seth's home was spotless! And so convenient to the beach, shopping, and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard was literally steps away! We slept peacefully on this quiet street. The beds were so comfortable!
We can't wait to stay there again. Hopefully make it an annual family retreat!

Great little beach house!
Absolutely everything you would want in a beach vacation rental!! It is very clear that the owners have put alot of thought into making you feel at home. Exceptionally clean; and I am over-the-top about clean floors, etc. I can honestly say we couldn't have wished for anything more--other than if we were located directly on the beach. GREAT TIME!

Great location
This was our second year at this cottage. We (4 of us) had a great week. Lots of beach time, took a whale watch, rode the dunes in Provincetown, and dined at local restaurants. The house has everything you need. It is cozy, but conveniently located to the beach and close enough to plenty of restaurants that you can walk to dinner. Our 2 teenagers are ready to book year three!

Falmouth Treasure
My husband and I both agreed that the cottage was one of the nicest we ever stayed in. Our every need was met and more so. There were so many special touches that made us feel so welcomed. Plus the fact that it was a leisurely, delightful walk to the Falmouth Beach.

The Most Wonderful Cottage!
We had a great vacation and so glad that we selected this cottage. It was a 5 minute walk to the Island Queen Ferry that took us over to Martha's Vineyard, a 10 minute walk to Falmouth Heights Beach, restaurants on the water and up town, quaint little shops. The location was was so important since we used to rent in this area 10 years ago.
The Cottage is 2 bedrooms, but sleeps more. They have a spacious living room and large kitchen with everything you can think of. The pictures you see are all exactly what it looks like. There's even a laundry area with brand new washer and dryer, a clothes line outside if you don't want to use the dry. A cart for my granddaughter to go for a ride down to the beach in. There were toys - 2 of everything it seemed like. I can't say enough about it. There's a large front yard and the backyard is nice - there's privacy with a grill.
We plan to rent it again next year if they will have us : ). The owners were easy to work with. We got there early and they let us park at the house once the people before us were gone. We meet the woman who cleans the house - she was so welcoming and nice. Took a walk over to Falmouth Harbor (5 minutes) and had some lunch.
Oh, there was a welcome basket with some goodies - they thought of everything. I can't thank them enough. It was the best vacation - lucked out on perfect weather too!

Great place to stay in Falmouth
Just returned from a wonderful family vacation here. Loved the location of the house-- easy walk to the Heights Beach, the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and a great location from which to watch the road race. Short drive to downtown Falmouth, lots of restaurants, and the grocery store. The pictures and descriptions of the house are accurate-- the furniture and amenities of the house really are newly renovated, clean and in good repair. The house is cosy in size, but worked great for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). The home is tastefully furnished and well stocked. We really appreciated having everything we needed-- kitchen appliances, beach toys, beach chairs, a wagon to drag stuff to the beach... Only thing to note is that sheets and towels are NOT provided and there is no washer/dryer. Communication with the owner was very easy and pleasant-- she went above and beyond to help us with directions and with any other questions we had. Our only complaint was that the house did smell musty (smoke? mildew?), especially when we first arrived. The smell dissipated after we left the windows open for a while, and the owner did say that she would address the issue for the future. All in all though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house. Hopefully we ourselves will be back soon!

Great Vacation
We took our first family vacation in 6 years here. The house was cozy, neat, and clean and provided all the essentials. The owner, Amanda was quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect. We were close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. Our kids are teenagers and they are asking if we can book again for next year!

Happy Vacationer
My husband and I recently stayed in the Falmouth Heights house and were very happy. It was clean, bright and as described in the listing and pictures. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Cape Cod if available. Amanda was prompt in responding with her emails and phone calls when I had a question. We would recommend staying here if available. So nice to have a "home" for a week as opposed to 1 room (in a hotel).
