Perfect location for all of the Jeep BOH trails. Nice property with all the amenities you will need. Just like being at home.

We stayed for 8 nights and I will start off with this has been the hottest summer since I have been visiting Ouray. And I know most houses do not have A/C in them but maybe a portable unit or several cheep box fans to put in the windows to bring some cool air in. There were 3 fans and some ceiling fans but did not make much difference. Night times were a little rough and warm. The other was trash, we were told to leave it in the garage and on Wednesdays someone would come to take trash out because of the bears, but the trash didn't get taken out. Not a big issue but the next guest won't have a place to put their trash. The location to town was excellent, we walked to town to eat dinner, the kids loved walking to the stream to play in it each night. We had deer come real close and also a bear kept visiting us each night so that was exciting. I did have a bit of communication issue with the VRBO app, I asked a question about a kitchen appliance and didn't get a response until after we were already here. I did text the number and got a response but it was different then the response from the VRBO app. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to be close to town. We love visiting Ouray, I have been coming to this part of the country for 35 years now. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Friend and I stayed while Jeeping in the San Juans. The house was a perfect base camp for us in terms of location and space. We had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time at the house but wish we did as the property is lovely and view is beautiful! We hope to stay again when we return to Ouray!

first time using VRBO for a stay was pleasantly surprised at the ease and convenience of scheduling reserving and check in The property had all the needs we require was very clean no issues were noted. Next visit to Ray possibly will use the same location again..

Besides the heat not working in the downstairs bedroom, the place was great. The property manager was quick to respond and they had space heaters in the garage. Overall, great place and had a blast ice climbing. Would stay here again.

The location of this property was perfect. Ouray is such a great town. All the people we met were so nice. This property was clean and the division of the two main bedrooms made this house perfect to share with another couple. We had everything we needed to make our stay great. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home. We love the new doors. Internet was a little weak, but you expect that in a mountain town. Thanks again for a great week.

We liked the place and a nice view too. But every were you look in Ouray is beautiful! Easy check in and out, no hassle what so ever. All the beds were comfortable also.

We enjoyed staying in Ouray. The house was clean and had many amenities and its proximity to the town was ideal. We loved how quiet it was and would stay there again anytime!

This was a great property for our family of 6. Plenty of space, well equipped with bedding and kitchen needs. The kitchen has been updated from what is in the pictures. Neighborhood was quiet and access to a riverwalk is pretty close.

We love staying in this property in Ouray. It is simple and clean and in the best location. Would come back every summer if we could.

Had a great time around Ouray. This was a nice place to come back to after a day out hiking and exploring. Had some wonderful evening walks on the river trail right across the road.

The location is wonderful. It's located on the back access to Ouray, which was nice. The driveway is on a hill, so in winter make sure you have 4WD or AWD as it's icy. The house definitely needs some love. You can feel a draft under the kitchen cabinets, the molding came off of the downstairs bathroom door when shutting it after we first arrived. We recieved notice that the dishwasher was broken the day prior and they were waiting for repair. Apparently this was the last guest's issue as well as some of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Cleaning was sub par. The extra sheets are just wadded in the closets, not folded, there was a pill under my daughter's bed upstairs, an old brittle towel behind the clawfoot tub, and some trash cans didn't have liners. The garage is full of quite a bit of personal items and the board games are very old. The house does come with some staples and spices however most of these are outdated by a few years. The gas fireplace does a fine job of heating the entire house if you leave the interior doors open. The kitchen was adequate to cook in although more glasses would have been nice. We did find an extra guest, a mouse, and there were no traps to set. The property manager seems unconcerned with responses. Overall it's not a bad place but certainly not worth what you pay nightly.

I m a world traveler and I do travel frequently for vacations across the globe. I have rented many vacation homes before, but this is for sure one of the best. Location was amazing. It has all the amenities, owner even have coffee and tea plus so many food items and utensils . 3 Beds and 2 bath. Excellent for a family of 5 to 6. Communication was very easy, owner was always available to guide us on a phone. I highly recommend this property, thank you so much for making this house remodel for us and future renter, we really enjoyed our Christmas break with the family. One note - if you are travelling from Texas, make sure you have tire chain. Many time due to icy condition it was little hard to go up. My car is 4WD with Full Snow Control (Infinity 2021 QX 80) but in the night, I do have hard time going up. Once we bought and put chain, it was very easy.

The kitchen was well stocked with equipment but it was in a jumble in some of the cupboards. The downstairs bed's mattress was very uncomfortable as both of us kept falling to the middle. Only 1 key was left for us where 2 would have been nice and it only locked one of the 2 entry doors. I loved the access to the River Walk and the quiet area.

It is close to the city and a walking trail. For the adventurous there are several trailheads with in 20 miles for dirt bikes and 4-wheel SUV. The house is well kept and has a quaint rustic feel with all the comfort of home. I definitely recommend this house for couples and families when staying in Ouray.

It was a great place to prepare our meals. Whether we ate there or at the campsite. There are three beds of various degrees of firmness and each couple found a bed that was comfortable for them. The location is close to town but far enough out to be away from any noise other than that provided by nature. We loved the scenery around us as well as watching the various birds and even a young buck that spent a little time in the front yard. The outside pictures of the place do not do it justice. Book this place now but leave an opening for us next year.
