This home is very comfortable for a family gathering to enjoy southern VT. It is tastefully decorated and spacious. Located in Peru, it is a short drive to Manchester and several ski resorts. We will surely rent again on our next visit.

We stayed for 3 nights in September for a family wedding. There were 9 adults age 87-32. As a rental for all adults this property was not a good fit. The area is beautiful and the home fine. It’s fairly basic in amenities and a little tired from being on the rental market. Needs paint, deep clean and attention to lighting. The issue for us was the two bunk rooms. The beds are very uncomfortable- to the point of causing lack of sleep for the adults using those rooms. It may work beautifully for family’s with young children but as a 60s person it was not good.
On the positive side the owner/manager is extremely responsive and helpful.

The house and location was exactly what we were looking for. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather and enjoyed using the pool and gym.
We enjoyed day trips to Wilmington, The Vermont Country Store, Stratton and Bromley Mountains along with shopping In Manchester and a wonderful dinner at Seasaw Lodge.
We look forward to a potential visit in the fall.

We had such a great stay on Bromley Mountain. The house was perfect for our family with plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was a bonus that we enjoyed a lot of!!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay on Bromley Mountain. We did have some refrigerator issues that the owner did his best to have fixed quickly. There was nice space for us to hang out and play games. We were grateful for the hot tub since we ended up with a bunch of rain at the beginning of the week. The pool was also a highlight for the kids when it was not rainy. Manchester is a cute little town that is very close by with lots of shops and places to eat. The bookstore was a highlight! We enjoyed some hiking on the Appalachian trail too. Overall a great place to stay.

The house was not as clean as it could have been. Maintenance was lacking. On the plus side, it was large enough for my family of five and we loved the area.

We had a wonderful stay with 5 retirees and semi-retirees enjoying mid-week empty slopes at one of favorite resorts. The house was immaculate and Jason was a terrific host. Bromley Mountain is one of the most underrated ski areas in Vermont.

3 generations of us, 4 boys ages 4-10, their parents and grandparents. The community salt water pool was enjoyed by all and a few of us played tennis and foosball. Nice hiking area, good proximity to stores, restaurants and playground! Kitchen was well stocked. Nice upscale neighborhood. The only downer was the lack of air conditioning on the 90+ degree day that we arrived, but a multitude of fans provided did help. Overall a fun and successful stay!

We rented this house for a family gathering and it was wonderful! Lots of community space that we could be together, yet enough bedrooms to have some quiet time. Owners are amazingly responsive ….even when we left something behind, went totally out of their way to get it back to us.

Our multigenerational party of nine enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean and stocked with everything we could need. We found lots to do on the property (the kids loved the saltwater pool) and in the surrounding area (kayaking, hiking, shopping).

we were very comfortable at this home. nicely decorated. clean and updated. nice location. only drawbacks were there are a lot of steps, the master bed was too high off the ground for us. There is no air conditioner but there were several fans at the property. We would stay here again.

Long Weekend
My family (6 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant) spent a wonderful long weekend here. The owner is excellent at communicating and the house / location itself is clean / beautiful. We would highly recommend a stay here for anyone considering a visit to VT.

We just returned from an absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful home! Our group consisted of 3 families with children ages 3-15, and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is truly a destination in itself and we spent a lot of time cooking and relaxing by the gorgeous fireplace! This was our first time in the area and planned to do some hiking, and we were aware that our mid-November timing was a transition period- post Fall foliage, but pre- ski season. To our very pleasant surprise, as we arrived to the house, it started snowing, and continued to snow on and off during our time here! The combination of the beautiful decor, big windows throughout the house, and being up in the snow covered trees made us feel like we were in a winter wonderland! We were looking to spend some quality time together, something low key and relaxing, and this home exceeded our expectations! Whether you a looking for a low key getaway like us, or you are looking to book a ski trip, Stratton and Bromley are within easy reach, and I can’t imagine a better place to retreat to in luxury after a day on the slopes! Thank you so much for hosting us, and for the wonderful memories!

Beautiful house with beds a plenty. With four bedrooms on the first floor and the kitchen, dining area and living room on the second floor there is nice separation when folks go to bed at different times. Located right in the Bromley Ski Resort area.
Would definitely rent again.
