What a wonderful time we had! Communication leading up to and during the trip was fantastic. We had lots of questions :)
The condo was great. Easy location and lots of space. After a week in an Ecolodge (wonderful in its own way) it was nice for our kids to feel a bit more comfortable. As disclosed the condo is right in town which does mean it gets noise into the evening. Our kids, 6 and 9, were tired enough from our adventures each day that it didn't bother them much and it was done by about 10pm. The condo had everything we needed! The pool area has a shade over the pool. The tables put there are different, cement, and not under the cover but it was still great.
Samara itself was great too. The condo is right at the start of town with many restaurants and shops, though I was surprised by how many things were closed, especially during busy season. Pizza and ice cream right across the street were perfect for when we arrived in the late evening on the first day. The Italian place on the beach was a great final night out and had a fire dancer! The international food court was great for lunch so everyone could get what they wanted. We even had to visit Dr Freddy, thankfully he was right on the corner.
Everyone was so kind and friendly, we had a truly wonderful time!

Fabulous condo in an amazing location! Within a block to beach, all restaurants and shops. Condo is modern, well supplied everything needed and very clean. There is secured on site parking. We were a family of 6- two 50's and four 20's. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the quaint beach town of Samara. I have no reservations highly recommending this condo.

We had a wonderful stay in a clean and spacious condo. They had a crib upon request, plenty of blankets/towels. Loved that it was right next to a new grocery store, less then 5 minute walk to beach, coffee shop across the street and surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. Communication with host was great and issues were minimal but managed quickly. We will stay again!

My wife and I stayed here with our teenaged children and niece for a full month from mid-July to mid-August 2023. During weekdays, the kids studied at Intercultura Language School (5 min. walk) while the adults worked from home inside the condo. That worked perfectly because the WiFi signal was strong and consistent throughout the condo; each room had an air conditioning unit; and the condo was bright, cheerful, and spacious.
For us, this was the ideal condo and location and, were we return to Samara, we would want to stay here again.
First, the condo is ideally located a 3-minute walk from the beach; a 5-minute walk from Intercultura; next door to Rindemas supermarket; and around the corner from Roots Bakery.
Second, the layout and facilities were perfect for the 5 of us, with ample natural light, spacious living room/kitchen, and ample privacy in the 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom faces the car port/courtyard, so it's very quiet; the 2 rooms with the shared bathroom face the main street, so it can be noisier, though the kids never had problems sleeping because it gets quiet no later than 10pm.
Third, the owner Paul, property manager Anabelle, and cleaner Rosa were all friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. When a showerhead broke, it was fixed immediately. Awesome folks.

We loved our stay in this comfy condo with all amenities and in the heart of Sámara. We walked the 2-3 minutes to the gorgeous beach most days and used the building’s pool a lot. There are three groceries within minutes, plenty of restaurants and a fantastic language school is a five minute walk. Communication was great and check-in/out was simple. There is a fair amount of noise from the street and nearby restaurant but we all still slept great. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This property is conveniently located to all that Samara has to offer. It is clean and quite spacious. Off-street parking. Owner and PM were easy to deal with and responsive.
Note that there is considerable noise in the unit from the street and adjacent bars/restaurants until around 10pm.

We had a lovely time staying here! While
We didn't cook it had a well provisioned kitchen. After a week of sharing a room with our kids it was lovely to be able to have our own space. Check in and out was easy, place was clean and it was close to everything- food, beach and groceries. We had one key adventure but it was fixed fast and painlessly by calling the property manager. The music across the street stopped around 10pm and didnt prevent any of us from sleeping.We loved Samara and would stay here again if (when?) we come back.

Nice spot and. Lean and homey only down side pool isn't as nice as pictures look its still a good size just in a feild and no spot to sit outside. But the place had everything you needed and was comfy beds and great location. I would stay there again

Property was wonderful and clean. Well kept and in good shape. It is located in the heart - and I mean heart - of Samara. On the corner of the two busiest streets. A very short walk to the beach and the local tour operator (boat tours, bird watching tours, horseback tours, etc.) is just across the street. It can be a little noisy for the street-side bedrooms, but that tapers off late and a white noise machine would solve that. That is just the price of having all the shops, restaurants and businesses all around. We would stay there again.

We loved this vrbo in Samara! The location is the best. We have been to Samara twice and being in the middle of the town is convenient. Our friends stayed in an upper unit at this condo, and it was much louder in the evenings/nights. Ours however good. We slept great! House has all the things you could need for your vacation in Samara!

This was our first time in Samara - and we loved it. Everything about this property was as advertised. It was super clean and comfortable. It’s right in the heart of town - so it can be a bit noisy at times, but the convenience of being able to walk everywhere makes up for it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is centrally located and close to everything Samara has to offer - beaches, restaurants, activities and tours, and local shops. Paul and Anabelle were great to deal with and provided us with excellent info to make our stay even better. Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and Samara is beach town paradise.

You could not be anymore in the middle of it all with this VERY SPACIOUS condo. Incredibly clean and well stocked with everything you need including a boogie board for the beach. Great restaurants with in a few feet of the condo. Beach is right down the street. Fun night life. Make sure to go to Roots or Sheriffs for breakfast, and take a dip in the pool at the condo after being at the beach. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here!

We loved our time here. We were traveling as a family of 8, with ages ranging from 7 to 75. The condo is spacious and well furnished. The pool was nice and had shade. There was also a nice yard area, where the kids enjoyed playing soccer. The location was perfect and withing walking distance to everything. We did stay over a weekend and dealt with some noise (to be expected in town), but everything quieted down by 10pm.

We discovered Samara has so many more options that are much more quiet, cleaner and better appointed. This condo is located on a busy street corner with loud motorcycles and automobiles passing at all hours. On the bright side, we could walk to a few very nice restaurants and to the beach. The condo was not very clean inside. We had no shower in either bathroom. This means the showerhead literally dripped water. All six of us suffered bites while sleeping. Not mosquitoes. Bugs that live in the mattress called Acaros. Roughly translated, sand fleas. All three mattresses were very nice quality. They need to be steam cleaned. We left two days early. Owner Paul was kind enough to refund two nights after some coaxing. Hope this helps other travelers.

The kitchen is huge and allows for multiple people to be working in there at the same time. The house seemed to have lots of little 'extras' -beach chairs, condiments, drying rack outside for towel. It is in the center of town but was mostly quiet (some bar music could be heard from about 9-10:30 at night but nothing outrageous or even very annoying). There was loud music playing until 2 AM on a holiday (July 25) but we had seen it mentioned in other reviews that would be the case and were expecting that. The pool outside was great to have especially with younger kids because it has a cover to protect them from the sun so we could let them swim midday without fear of sunburn. This is a lower unit and there were people above us but we NEVER heard them - the floor must be very well sound proofed. Having the washer/dryer was nice because it's hard to dry things in the rainy season so we didn't have to leave with a bag of wet clothes/swimwear/towels. Overall, definitely a place we would stay at again if we go back to Samara.

This is my second time staying in this particular building and my family loved it just as much as I had before.
We loved being right in the middle of town and having the ability to walk everywhere we wanted to be.
This place is beautiful and has everything you could ever need. The water pressure is always an issue in Samara but our group made it work. The rooms were clean and well kept up. The air conditioners were definitely appreciated and the ceiling fans helped circulate the air. The kitchen and living room were exactly what we were looking for with everything you’d expect you’d need there. The laundry room even offered us some beach umbrellas and chairs. .The pool was appreciated when we returned each night.
This is the ideal place for any type of group and more than reasonable for the cost of the stay.

This was a great place to stay in Samara! Spacious, clean, comfortable and close to everything Samara has to offer. Owner and property manager were very kind and accommodating. There was loud music playing at a nearby bar on Saturday night but the music stopped by 10pm and the rest of the nights were quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

This property is very clean and has great soft fluffy towels. We really appreciated having three bathrooms. One thing to be mindful of is there is no dishwasher. In other words you bring your own dishwasher-your hands! A location can’t be beat it’s right in the middle of all the action and a quick walk down to the beach and to anywhere else you wanna go in Samara. There are two very walkable grocery stores, one smaller than the other. There are two Fruteria’s across the short street and plenty of places to book tours eat snack and eat a snack or a full on meal. You won’t regret staying here!

Nice stay in the middle of the city!
Love the location and the place is comfortable. Be aware there is a night club a few doors down that play insanely loud music at 2 AM. NOT the owners fault but the town need to stop it. We love Samara can can't wait to come back.
