• beautiful and quiet location, terrace with a lovely mountain view
• clean, new apartment
• after the initial check‑in issue, communication with Mr. Roger was smooth; he immediately solved the missing bed linen and pillow
• the apartment equipment is rather basic – the bathroom could use more space for toiletries
• the kitchen would benefit from better equipment for more extensive cooking (sharp knives, toaster, etc.)
• check‑in was a bit complicated: although we had shared our arrival time in advance, it wasn’t clear on site that the building was Alpenlodge Kirchbach. The entrance door wasn’t marked, and there was only a German note saying “call!” with a phone number, but no doorbell. The place looked empty, we called several times with no answer, and only after about half an hour the owner came out of the house. It wasn’t obvious that he was inside or whether he also lived in the building.
Recommendation: add a clear sign with the accommodation name and a simple instruction like “knock here, or call if there is no answer”.

Large, comfortable space, just a 10-minute drive to skiing in Nassfeld, Billa in the town, friendly hosts, covered parking, warm rooms (underfloor heating), overall very good.
Temperature control would be nice (occasionally too hot), more hooks and racks for ski equipment, the apartment could be a bit better soundproofed from the others.

Fantastische Lage am Ortsrand mit toller Aussicht vom Balkon
Zu unserer Zeit wurde im Nachbarhaus gebaut. Der Lärm hielt sich aber in Grenzen.
