Blowing Rock entered Phase 2 reopening May 22nd with restaurant dine-in at 50% capacity, main street retail is open for shopping and parks are open for outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Area attractions are opening. Check their websites for details. Chetola Resort has taken special precautions and we have implemented additional cleaning procedures for your safety. Oak 6 is located in the beautiful Chetola Resort, a gated community rated by Southern Living as "one of the best stays in the Blue Ridge" It boasts a gorgeous lake with swans, walking trails, restaurant with seating in and out, indoor pool, health spa, tennis courts and much more. A one level, upstairs end unit with a large, covered balcony, offering views of the beautiful Chetola landscape, this fully renovated unit evokes the rustic mountain atmosphere with its reclaimed wood accents, yet with all the modern conveniences of today. Free Wi-Fi, a 42” HD flat-screen TV, gas log fireplace with remote, and all new furnishings as well as a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter-tops and stainless appliances are just a few of the comforts we offer. The bright and open floor-plan lends itself to easy and relaxed living at its best. The master suite has a king bed and spa bath with granite counters, large jetted tub and separate tile shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and full bath just outside in the hallway. Cool-gel memory foam mattresses and upscale linen will help you get a great night`s sleep and be ready for next day`s adventures. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room accommodates two additional guests. There is also an extra bunk bed in the guest room. This unit offers access to al club amenities at Chetola: fitness, indoor pool, dry sauna, 10 person hot tub, tennis courts and paddle boats. Massages and other spa services are available for a fee. Just a 15-20 minute walk away is Blowing Rock, a scenic mountain village with quaint stores, coffee shops, galleries, antiques, friendly merchants, gourmet restaurants, and beautiful scenery. If you prefer outlet shopping, we are a 10 minute walk from the Shoppes on the Parkway. The charming and larger town of Boone and Appalachian State University are only a 10 minute drive away. 18 hole golf courses are just around the corner. Adjoning the property is Moses Cone State Park. It offers miles of walking trails and Bass Lake for you anglers. Take the day to drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway and visit Grandfather Mountain or Linville Gorge and Caverns, or visit Tweetsie Railroad, go snow skiing, horseback riding, and whitewater rafting. There is a wonderful on-site restaurant with a cozy bar and friendly, helpful staff. In the summertime you may be offered s’mores roasted over a fire-pit by the lake. Every summer the Charlotte symphony visits and plays on the grounds overlooking the lake, where you may bring a picnic. You may also fish, walk or paddle-boat around the lake. Enjoy pleasantly warm days, and cool nights in the summer or enjoy a winter wonderland during ski-season. Whether you are looking for a family vacation or a romantic get-away, you will always look forward to coming home to Chetola. Payment is due as follows: 50% upon reservation; balance at least 4 weeks prior to stay; lock-box combo with key code will be provided three days before arrival. Cancellation refund policy is 100% return within 14 days of stay, and 50% within one week. We highly recommend buying insurance protection for late cancellations., since there are no exceptions for late cancellations. This is a pet-free unit.

Wanted to start off with, loved the decor. Kept talking about the bear! House was super clean! Great view to sit on the porch and have coffee. You can actually walk to downtown, if you enjoy walking. Directions given were spot on. Would definitely stay again. Appreciate the family sharing their home with us 😃!

The description is perfect! We stayed with another couple for a wedding. The location is great for Blowing Rock. Very clean and updated. The beds were super comfy with nice sheets. The location was awesome! The hosts were great! Highly recommend!

Overall, it's a very nice property but the king bed is horrible. My wife and i slept in the queen guest bunk bed instead. I have slept in a lot worse properties and got better sleep. Wife wanted to leave after 2 days. Additionally, there was some construction from another unit.

We had a great stay here. The property was clean and easy to access. Close to the restaurant, spa and pool at Chetola so we were able to walk. Owners we helpful when needed. Hope to visit again soon!

A gorgeous property perfectly decorated for the location. Amenities are all as described. The property is in the perfect location. We felt very at home. There was clear issues with the cleanliness which the owner shrugged off and did not deal with appropriately.
