About this cottage rental
La Pergola nestles amid luxurious vegetation just off the road which winds its way from Anacapri to the Blue Grotto. The shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The bus stop is practically outside the main gate. Nearby are the famous ruins of the Roman villa of Damecuta, loved and frequented by the emperor Tiberius.
In front of the cottage there is a large shady terrace with spectacular sea views with table and chairs for outside dining and loungers for reading or relaxing while watching the sun sink into the emerald sea. This is a detached, one-roomed cottage, tastefully decorated and enjoys stunning sea views from every window(you can see the sea while sitting in bed).There is a double bed, table and chairs for inside eating or reading, a fully equipped kitchen corner, satellite TV, DVD player-radio, WI-FI internet and bathroom with shower. The cottage is totally independent and private and has its own private entrance from the road.
The swimming pool is situated in another part of the extensive grounds and is reached by steps and paths through the lush garden. Sometimes it is shared by guests(max 2) staying in another cottage set in a secluded part of the grounds.
The swimming pool is open from 1st June-10-October.
You are welcome to pick the vegetables, fruit or herbs that are grown on the property.

Beautiful! Our property manager Luciana was an excellent communicator and quite charming as a host contact. We met the owners of the property and their families as well and they are lovely people. We plan to visit again and will definitely stay Le Chimera again! Highly recommended as a quiet, peaceful, slice of heaven. The sunsets were out of this world looking out at the Tyrrhenian Sea!

The cottage was an absolute gem and like being in a slice of paradise. The views are exceptional, and the grounds were impeccably maintained. A perfect couples retreat with very easy access to shopping in Ana Capri or if you would like to go to Capri. Luciana was an amazing hostess and welcomed us as if we were family. we highly recommend going to Cafe Michelangelo‘s for dinner and dessert as well as Scuie Scuie, we ate at both of these cafés several times, they are terrific. This quaint cottage is definitely the place to stay to be in absolute quiet but also have access to shopping, the chairlift, the Blue Gratto and all of the cafes/restaurants in Ana Capri Centre.

Quaint cottage with unbelievable views. Great place to relax for a few days after a busy Rome trip. Pool wasn’t open yet but the host took us down to see that area and we will have to go back when it is open. Conveniently located next to a bus stop that takes you anywhere on the island. Luciana was amazing, and set us up with a private driver from and back to the port. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Incredible property with breathless views!Luciana was lovely and helpful. She greeted us and had so many great suggestions for our trip.Pool was clean, quite cold but an absolute gem. So private and quaint.There’s a bit of a trek to get to and from the pool but nothing crazy.We made espresso daily in the percolator and container of fine ground provided.A few suggestions for the owners and anyone staying here.Bring bug spray, we got eaten alive on the patio.The wifi only works well on the patio so streaming a movie or show is a challenge in bed if that’s your thing.The bed is quite firm and you can feel your partners every movement.Another bed blanket with a bit more substance would be nice too.Air conditioner worked great!We took the bus into Ananapri and Capri and it was all very easy. Just know if there’s no seats it’s a bit of a hold on for dear life situation but it’s entertaining. Four nights was perfect here for us yo relax before a busy work trip in other parts of Italy
