Situated in Second Valley, this attractive house for $105 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Affordable family friendly, pet friendly cottage style accommodation. 3 bedrooms, full kitchen facilities. BYO sheets, towels & pillows or linen hire and breakfast provisions available for small extra fee. Free gas BBQ and undercover outdoor living area. All set on a half acre block with lots of shady trees. Nestled in the valley, only 700metres from beautiful safe beach, jetty and convenience store. Locality Boathaven Beach House is ideal as a Kangaroo Island stopover only 15 mins drive from the ferry or 20 mins from Deep Creek Conservation Park with its spectacular scenery and bushwalks. A short drive to several stunning golf courses and plenty to see for divers and snorkellers alike. A fabulous destination for an affordable relaxing beach holiday. Flexibility Although Second Valley is a lot of fun in summer, it is also a beautiful place to enjoy wintery weather. Tuck yourself up in bed with our feather quilts, electric blankets and a good book, or just enjoy walking the green hills , looking out to sea in nearby Deep Creek Conservation Park Go op-shopping in Normanville, find a bargain at one of several interesting secondhand or antique stores in Yankalilla. Enjoy some great cafes, breweries, and pubs on the Fleurieu peninsula.

The house was really lovely and super clean and affordable.
Nice and close to the beach and a quiet place to stay. Bed very comfortable and was lovely to arrive to flowers and choc biscuits in the kitchen! Thankyou.
The only thing I’d change would be the two strange garden mannequins/scarecrows/
which were quite unsettling - and
did detract from us being able to really relax and enjoy the outdoor space.

The deck, the garden with its huge oak tree and all the comfortable places to sit and read in make it an ideal holiday spot. 700m away is the gorgeous little Second Valley Beach. We loved it all.

The Boathaven Beach House was a relaxing place to stay. Everything you need is there in the house to make your stay comfortable . Lot's of dvd's , games etc for those rainy days. All round a great place to stay

Second valley is where the hills meet the sea, we had a great time fishing at the local Jetty. We also used the Rapid Bay jetty.
The house was a comfortable stay and there were a lot of games for my son to use, everthing was there for a comfortable stay.
The nearby caravan park has takeaway food (we didnt eat there) and the shop also has a small supply of basic necessitates and fishing supplies (which the rrp is marked up), there seems to be no other shops around, so remember to pack it all.

Quaint little cottage full of quirky bits and pieces. A little cluttered and outside was a couple of creepy stuffed people. It would be nicer with a less is more feel. Overall a very relaxing place to unwind. *Needs to be noted No linen provided on info.

We had a lovely long weekend in the Boatshed. It exceeded our expectations and felt like a true holiday home. All the hidden touches and quaintness made for a relaxing stay. We loved the garden and all its nooks. We'll be back!

We spent two nights in Second Valley, staying at the Boathaven Beach House. We had a wonderful time away - dad, mum, two teenagers and a mini schnauzer. The living areas in the home are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glassware, pots and pans. The property is clean and well maintained with lots of boardgames and DVDs available. There is also a great fenced yard for your dog. The house is located a short walk from the beach and caravan park kiosk where you can hire kayaks to explore the coastline and caves.

Although quite a dated property, it was certainly comfortable. Lots of great spaces.
Front/side fencing would be great so can sit on front deck enjoying a drink and the view and not have to worry about dogs/kids wandering off the property.

Perfect spot for a winter getaway. Quiet strolls with the family exploring the beautiful pebble beach and surrounding areas. The house felt warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Kids loved the outdoor area and saying hello to the chickens.

A welcoming atmosphere with flowers and chocolate biscuits on the kitchen bench, and tea, coffee, milk and sugar nearby. The kitchen had all the required equipment, and the lounge room with TV and video player/videos had several sofas and chairs. The two beds we slept in had comfortable mattresses.

Thanks for a wonderful stay - the adults spent every morning and eve on the deck with our drinks and platters, while our teens enjoyed the indoor lounge-room space as their hangout after spending the day at the beach. They even enjoyed feeding the chooks! Wonderful memories were made, without costing the earth. Thanks again :)

-Generous living area with oodles of light from huge windows and French doors everywhere.
-Mature, shady garden with no less than 5 outdoor seating spaces surrounding the house to choose from.
-Easy walk to beach and driving access to the Fleurieu.
If you're after top-notch styling and quality, it's probably 3 stars.
