Great host! Clean and nice rooms, very good and tasty-fresh made breakfasts. 15min walk to Huacachina oasis, nice and quiet neighbourhood.

The rooms were nice and clean and beds were comfy with extra soft blankets for the cold nights. The property was very relaxing and kept up well. The wifi was great.
The staff was not welcoming at all. They preferred that I paid with cash for the reservation but then didn't have any change at all - not even 3 soles so I had to pay with card instead. They barely spoke a word to us for our 3 day stay. It was really weird feeling because the hotel was basically empty. The hotel is not super close to good restaurants or a market so we wanted to eat at the hotel. They advertised breakfast, cocktails, lunch and fresh juices etc. There was only ONE person working the front desk and the restaurant. So with three parties that were there to eat breakfast in the morning (a total of 7 people) - the wait was painfully long to get even a coffee because you had to wait for the other tables entire order to be made by ONE person and served before any other orders could be made. The coffee was awful - as in just not even drinkable. It took 30 minutes to brew one pot using a drip coffee machine because it was so overloaded with grounds. The resulting coffee was the blackest, muddiest thick disgusting drink I've ever had. The next morning we asked for a much lighter coffee and they just poured COLD water into the existing disgusting coffee - giving us Luke warm thick black tar to drink. With few amenities super close - it was super disappointing that there wasn't decent coffee or reasonable wait times for food. I would suggest using Rappi for food delivery or stay somewhere else.
