This apartment is located close to a very well known hill in the city that is called El Cerro del Fortin where every year is celebrated the Guelaguetza which is the biggest celebration in Oaxaca during July.
The apartment is located inside a beautiful Oaxqueña house with a big patio and a fountain in the center, offers you a great view of the city and it a great place to chill and relax in the afternoon, there are some other apartments in the
same building so sometimes the travelers in the different apartments meet each other while they are guests of the house. The enviroment is private and quiet in case you like peaceful places to relax, includes a parking lot for your vehicle.
The neighborhood around is safe, there is a University next to the house and also you can find a laundry, market to buy groceries and the Zocalo is located 10 minutes away walking.

Very responsive host. Once a week cleaning really done ( not always the case everywhere).
Well located although being near auditorio Gelagetzal and busy street and Santo Domingo area implies that you what’s us going on where ( hearing it all:-) walking all around is very convenient and the market 5 minutes walk is a great addition.
Large patio area is a plus as my apartment was not so full with day light, i even appreciated this patio more

Excellent option if you want be close to the Zocalo and the city center within walking distance and also cozy private patio. This is the place. I stayed in July for one month and I was sad to leave.
