About this bed and breakfast
Nestled in Norman, this charming bed and breakfast for $180 per night is a great option for your next trip. Spacious casita that sleeps 2-4 opens up to a beautiful pool (opened year round but not heated), spa and courtyard area (shared with homeowner.) This paradise retreat tucked away in the beautiful addition of Smoking Oak will make you forget you are in Norman until you discover it's proximity to campus (1.5 miles) Discounted weekly rates apply. Parking spot available. His and her bicycles available for guest use. The casita has one bedroom, one full bathroom, large living room area, kitchenette with microwave, 4 burner stove top, toaster oven, full size fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. Includes pots, pans, blender, and dining essentials. The living room has a Queen sofa Sleeper and is equipped with a large 62" HD TV with full COX cable service, Blu-ray player, and an X-Box original. If it's an OU game day, we are most likely hosting a before/after gathering out back, come join us! If it's summertime, we will most likely be in the pool. Occasionally neighborhood friends/kids come to swim. This is our home but we are happy to share pool and patio areas with our guests. (2-4 guests max) We do have a friendly family dog that we let out back. She is usually outside in the backyard when we are home. If we are not home she is crated inside. Can assist with what to do, where to eat, where to drink, and how to get around. We have a very friendly family dog named Piper that will likely greet you if she's in the backyard. She's only out when we are home. SPRING & FALL are WINDY in OK. This allows leaves to collect quickly in the pool during these seasons. We are prideful of our property and its appearance, but we both work full time and will skim leaves after work in the evenings. This is not a resort and we do not have a pool boy skimming leaves every hour :) (NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. NO SMOKING anywhere on premise. This is still our home in a quiet neighborhood. This property was beautiful and felt like a very safe place for our young adult children to stay without out. The pool and hot tub were prefect as the pictures. The house was well stocked with essential things you don't even think about till you need it, like aluminum foil, salt, and other little things. Hosts were great, and the family dog was the sweetest.

Great location for my family close to campus to get my kids to and from summer camps. Perfect to have full sized fridge and space for groceries for making lunches. My husband worked from home during day no issues. Pool wonderful option for kids and shaded areas for hot Oklahoma summer. Thank you!

We were in town to see family. The cabana was in the perfect location for us. The Cabana was clean and had everything we needed! My kids loved the backyard and getting to play with the kids too. We will definitely book here again for our next visit!

My daughter and I stayed here when she was at the OU girls Bball camp. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Quiet, safe neighborhood, close to campus, close to great food options. Hosts were nice and had great communication. Their dog came to say hello. :) Hotel pricing was similar and it was so nice to have our own space.

Great Spot in Norman and comfortable

Couldn’t have honestly been better for our trip to see the Sooners dominate. Close to campus, great hosts , wonderful kids and a fun dog! Pool was perfect for pre gaming. The wife and I will be back if we get a opportunity for sure!

Had a little trouble with booking but it was VRBO issue. Shannon was very helpful and very understanding when we had to cut our trip short because one of my dogs passed unexpectedly. The online photos of the casita and the backyard setting capture your attention but the reality is even better. The neighborhood is beautiful and conveniently located. The host family is gracious. We were travelling with our dog. He had a fun time playing with the resident dog and the hosts were accomodating about making her available for playtime. We would definitely book again.

I've stayed at many places, but this has to be one of my favorites. Shannon and Katie were flawless in their communication and incredibly helpful from my very first question to the final text of check out. It was the perfect space for a gathering of my brothers. We used the grill, made awesome food, and enjoyed the beauty of the poolhouse casita and pool itself. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

We had a great week in the Cabana. The yard and pool were wonderful, and the owners were very gracious to allow us private access. We were in tow to see the sights I haunted in high school, check out the eateries/breweries and pick up some cool OU gear. Our hosts were amazing. They accommodated an extra night when we needed it, were pet friendly and gave a lot of advice about places to see in town. We will definitely stay here again next year. Thanks guys!
