Centrally located on Lanan Bay just off the main body of the lake, Y Knott Lodge is within minutes of Pendleton Bridge, world-class Cypress Bend golf course, and Toledo Town with a fishing tackle superstore, real estate agents, banks, restaurants, supermarket, gas and convenience stores, and more. The Lodge has had a busy 2021! New sea wall, larger boathouse, larger lakefront yard, concrete steps from home to the lake, larger new deck, roofline extended over deck, new roof, & all new glass in the entire home! If you've never been... its time to come! If you've been here before - You're going to love the house even more! Nestled on a hillside overlooking the lake, you'll enjoy this quiet area with plenty of privacy. You can enjoy the first light of dawn and relax at the end of the day looking out over the lake from the large deck or boat house... or even from the comfort of the Great Room. The great, mid-lake location on the Louisiana side of Toledo Bend puts you close to the action for major fishing tournaments - many launch from Cypress Bend or San Miguel Parks - just minutes away. Barbecue steaks or the day's catch on the large deck overlooking the lake. Your boat is always convenient in the private boat house and you may enjoy fishing from the bulkhead or dock in the evening or at night - the boat house is well lit and there are outlets to plug in your boat batteries. There is even a "hatch" in the deck with lighting above the water for some great night fishing! There is a private boat launch on property. (Please note - the launch is concrete on a relatively steep, curved incline) Enjoy your day in the ample yard with benches, firepit, swing, and Adirondack chairs. Benches even line the sea wall so you can relax and catch bream off the bulkhead. 'Great Room' is the only way you can describe it...Plenty of space for everyone... yet great for a cozy fire. When your tired of playing Foosball, step out to the deck for a game of Cornhole. Later relax on the deck and watch the stars twinkle at night - or catch some rays to work on that suntan during the afternoon. The dining room provides just the right ambiance for an elegant meal - or a great place for the family to get together for a board game or card game in the evening. The dining area provides seating for eight. The well equipped kitchen has everything you will need - dishes, utensils, Stainless stove, dishwasher, & microwave, coffee maker, waffle iron, and blender. The kitchen opens to the Great Room via a breakfast bar. You are sure to get a great night's rest and be ready for fun-filled days on the lake when you stay at the lodge. The tastefully decorated bedrooms include all high-thread-count linens for your comfort, Roku televisions, and Blueray DVD players. The large Master Bedroom features a King size bed and connecting bath. The second bedroom downstairs features a Queen size bed. This home was a gem. It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the lake. We were able to launch and dock our boats on the property where the fish were plentiful! The outdoor deck overlooking the lake was where we spent most of our time - we did not want to leave. Highly recommend booking.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge!! Looked Just as pictured. The view was amazing, lodge was clean, and we were close to local stores and restaurants. Communication with host was excellent. Would definitely come back.

The house with view was perfect for our stay. The private boat launch was the selling point for us. We enjoyed the pier and caught fish directly off of it. Boat slip for the boat was perfect when the lake got a little rough. Wound def recommend to family and friends.

My family and I thoroughly loved our summer vacation at the Y-knott home. The home was great and listing was very accurate and informative. The location was great with swimming, boating and fishing all available. The sunsets were amazing from the homes deck, the dock, and of course on the boat during our “sunset cruise”. The grandchildren loved the swimming and fishing from the dock as the adults enjoyed the sun and water at the dock area. The home was clean and well layer out for a family stay with ample parking and the on-site launch. We will definitely look forward to another stay.

Very nice property. There were plenty of beds for everyone and they were super comfy. The deck overlooking the lake was amazing and the boat dock was fun. We caught a few fish from the pier and played in the water. Fun times. And the sunset was to die for!

We really enjoyed our stay! Had a blast and even stayed an extra night because noone wanted to leave! The only thing that I see would be beneficial is to add an ice machine outside! The money it took for ice was unbelievable. Didnt care for the steep boat launch but at least it had one. The owner and housekeeper was very nice about everything, we would return again.

The property was more than expected. The house was absolutely gorgeous as well as the grounds. Plenty of space for all of us. The kids as well as the adults thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the lake. We rented a pontoon boat while there and that was a lot of fun. Will try another trip there......

The views from the gorgeous windows and beautiful outside deck were superb! The Lake House was very clean when we arrived. We did not catch anything except a turtle and a great time, but I will bring my family back here again! The stairs going upstairs were a little tricky, but the perfect spot for the grandkids to have their own space. Very nicely stocked with all the essentials.

We have stayed here several times and it’s always a treat. The deck and the of lake is beautiful and definitely the best area for boating. Home is roomy, comfortable, and clean and is well equipped. We will be back next summer!
